Abstract

The existence of a widespread and simultaneous virus outbreak in various parts of the world, has an impact on all human activities in various sectors of life. This epidemic demands many changes in all fields, including education. Like it or not, learning that was initially carried out in a real classroom must be carried out online (online). Facing this very drastic change encourages educators and students to continue to adapt and innovate in the use of various digital-based learning methods. The need to know the perceptions of students in learning mathematics is very important. Through this, educators can evaluate the learning process that has taken place and elaborate on students better. Moreover, mathematics is a science that will continue to develop following the times and technology. This research is a qualitative qualitative research that aims to obtain an overview of students' perceptions of online learning, especially subjects in the field of mathematics. The case study was conducted in the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were 2nd year students majoring in informatics engineering at a private university in DKI Jakarta. The results of this study are 94% of students prefer mathematics course lectures that are conducted face-to-face compared to learning through WAG, telegram, LMS, or google classroom. 50% of students who were asked about the difficulty level of learning mathematics courses through video conferencing thought that the difficulties they faced were in accordance with what they imagined. Likewise with the level of difficulty in learning mathematics courses through WAG, google classroom, or telegram, 49% of these students did not feel that learning was more difficult than they imagined. In such conditions, if asked to provide recommendations regarding what online learning media is suitable for mathematics courses, 72% of them recommend video conferencing media which allows lecturers and students to gather and meet in the same online room. After the research was conducted on students' perspectives on online mathematics learning, it was found that the comparison of students with positive and negative perspectives was quite balanced. There are 33 respondents who have a positive perspective. There are 34 respondents who have a negative perspective. Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan berbanding lurus dengan perkembangan teknologi yang memiliki pengaruh cukup besar dalam kehidupan manusia saat ini, maka sudah saatnya guru memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik lagi di antaranya guru bisa meningkatkan keterampilan untuk diri sendiri. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Guru SMPIT Al Qalam Jakarta dengan penggunaan software desain grafis Adobe Photoshop CS dan CorelDraw. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan seperti pengkajian, perencanaan dan pengembangan, pelaksanaan (sosialisasi), dan evaluasi. Jumlah peserta dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini sekitar 12 orang guru SMPIT Al Qalam. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diperoleh informasi bahwa kegiatan ini sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta. Kegiatan ini menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran inovatif agar lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh siswa saat pembelajaran. Jika dibuat dalam bentuk persentase naik dari kemampuan awal 50%, setelah pelatihan yang paham menjadi lebih dari 87%. Hal ini dapat ambil kesimpulan bahwa sosialisasi yang diberikan dapat bermanfaat untuk guru.

Abstract

Sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan dikembangkan guna memfasilitasi pemilik Bunda Laundry Kukusan dalam mengidentifikasi peminatan pelanggan secara lebih terstruktur dan efisien. Proses pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan menganalisis permasalahan dan mengidentifikasi kriteria yang relevan, seperti jenis layanan, kecepatan layanan, harga, dan kualitas layanan. Metode Analytics Hierarchy Process (AHP) digunakan untuk menghitung bobot dan menetapkan prioritas pada setiap kriteria. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan sistem mampu mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat, mengurangi kesalahan, dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan.

Abstract

Batik as part of the Indonesian culture was recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2009. Batik is not only a cultural product, but also a representation of a complex visual structure. As science and technology develop, a physico-mathematical approach to batik motifs, particularly through fractal theory, has begun to attract the attention of researchers. A fractal is a geometric shape that has a repeating pattern at various scales. This study aims to develop a fractal pattern using the Julia set to obtain a batik motif pattern. This will greatly assist the batik industry in producing batik with various motifs automatically. The method used is to modify the Julia equation, the next step is to perform a transformation in the form of rotation or dilation. Then the results obtained are visualized using Python programming. The constants used are varied with a value of -1 < c < 1, the order of the equation also uses a higher order. The visualization results are then compared with existing batik motifs and the best one is selected. The results showed that certain parameter modifications produced fractal patterns similar to traditional designs such as kawung batik, while others revealed unexpected analogies to natural and physical phenomena like dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous stems patterns and floral motifs.
