Abstract

ICT adoption and diffusion studied in detail lately by researchers in the information systems area. It studied at two levels: the first is at the organizational level and the other is at the individual level. If the unit analysis is an individual, the emphasis is on the acceptance of technology (Dasgupta, Granger & Mcgarry, 2002).TAM is an intention-based model developed specifically for explaining and/or predicting user acceptance of computer technology (Hu, et.al., 1999). Technology acceptance defined as “an individual’s psychological state with regard to his or her voluntary or intended use of a particular technology” (Masrom, 2007). Therefore, in this study TAM is used to study the acceptance of the e-learning technology.The research presented here motivated and guided by two main questions. First, do students (learners or users) would like to accept e-learning or vice versa? Second, what are the factors that significant in explaining the usage towards e-learning?, that is, do the attitudinal beliefs such as perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has relationship towards the e-learning adoption? In other words, this study examined TAM and the external factors in an academic setting, testing the factors affecting students’ acceptance of e-learning technology.

Abstract

Ansietas atau rasa tidak nyaman seorang pengguna internet bisa dirasakan dalam berbagai macam bentuk. Orang yang kurang percaya diri akan kemampuannya dalam menggunakan internet, tidak puas akan keahlian internet ataupun perasaan tidak nyaman dalam menggunakan internet dapat dikatakan memiliki efektivitas diri yang lemah. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausal komparatif, yaitu membahas masalah berupa hubungan sebab akibat antara variabel independen (efektivitas diri dan spesifik internet) dengan variabel dependen (ansisetas pengguna internet). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan mahasiswa yang aktif pada tahun akademik 2016/2017 di Universitas Universal (UVERS). Adapun sampel yang diambil dan layak digunakan sebagai sumber data primer sebanyak 222 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan data purposive sampling. Alat analisa menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda, Uji-T, dan Uji-F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Efektivitas diri tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dengan ansietas pengguna internet. Hal ini juga menunjukkan semakin tinggi tingkat efektivitas diri seorang pemakai internet, maka belum tentu menyebabkan perubahan tingkat ansietas pengguna internet. Akan tetapi factor spesifik internet, berpengaruh pada ansietas pengguna internet.

Abstract

Hampir semua generasi muda khususnya generasi Y (Gen Y) di Indonesia saat ini telah mengenal dan melakukan pembelian barang dan jasa secara daring (online). Hal ini tak lepas dari kemampuan situs belanja daring untuk menarik konsumen melalui berbagai promosi dan iklannya yang menjanjikan berbagai kelebihan belanja daring dibanding belanja secara konvensional, sehingga mampu menggugah emosi konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor emosi (X1) dan kepercayaan (X2) terhadap orientasi belanja daring (Y).  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak muda di kota Batam belanja daring dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 246 responden yang diambil secara acak (random sampling). Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan teknik Generalize Least Square (GLS). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa emosi dan kepercayaan terbukti sangat berpengaruh terhadap orientasi belanja daring khususnya bagi konsumen dikalangan muda.

Abstract

This research can provide the illustration and answers about what millennial generation women must prepare who run MSME’s. The research method is a quantitative approach, collecting data with questionaries and using purposive sampling, the study uses partial least square structural equation modelling analysis test. The amount of data used is 110 respondents. The object of research is the women entrepreneurs in Riau Islands who are in the age range of 21 to 41 years. The results of the study of discrimination factors, motivation, demographics had a significant positive effect on Capabilities, Commitment Factors, Financial Access Factors had a positive insignificant effect on Capabilities. Capability has a significant positive effect on MSME’s Human Capital, MSME’s Human Capital has a significant positive effect on the Digital Economy.

Abstract

This research performed in order to test influence of Debt to Equity Ratio , Return on Asset, Return On Equity , and Net Profit Margin toward stock return of consumer goods companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2012-2017. Sampling technique used in the research is purposive sampling with criteria as (1) consumer goods companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2012-2017 .(2) always seen annual financial report over period 2012-2017. (3) was not delisted in research periods over 2012-2017. Data that needed in this research taken from Kresna Securities, Ltd 2012-2017 and was acquired 29 sample company. Data analysis with multiple regressions. Hypotheses test used t-statistic and f-statistic at level significance 5%. A classic assumption examination which consist of data normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroskedasticity test and autocorrelation test is also being done to test the data.Based on the result of this research, classic assumption has not founded, this indicate that available data has fulfill the condition to use multiple regression model. Empirical evidence of analysis show as Return On Asset (ROA) have significant effect towards stock return at level of significances less than 5% as 0,013%. And Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Equity , and Net Profit Margin don’t have significance effect toward stock return. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) terhadap return saham pada perusahaan consumer good yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2012 – 2017. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria (1) Perusahaan Sektor Consumer Goods yang yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2012-2017, (2) Perusahaan yang mempublikasikan laporan keuangan secara lengkap selama periode 2012-2017, (3) Perusahaan yang tidak delisting selama periode pengamatan. Data yang dibutuhkan diambil dari PT. Kresna Sekurindo, Tbk tahun 2012-2017 yang diperoleh jumlah sampel 29 perusahaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Uji hipotesis menggunakan t statistik untuk menguji pengaruh variabel secara parsial dan Uji f-statistik untuk menguji variabel secara bersama-sama terhadap return saham dengan level of significance 5%. Selain itu dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas dan uji autokorelasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara simultan variabel bebas berpengaruh terhadap return saham dengan nilai signifikansi F sebesar 0,000%. Secara parsial hanya variabel Return on Asset (ROA) yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham perusahaan consumer good di BEI tahun 2012-2017 karena signifikansi kurang dari 5 % yaitu 0.013%. Sedangkan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Equity (ROE), dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham.

Abstract

Dalam rangka mendukung program pemerintah dalam menciptakan wirausaha dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas para UMKM maka prodi Manajemen akan memberikan pelatihan kepada para UMKM yang berada di lingkungan PKK Tiban Global, Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berwirausaha dan meningkatkan kualitas manajemen dan tata kelola keuangan sehingga dapat menciptakan UMKM yang mandiri. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan yang dihadiri oleh 25 peserta dari pelaku UMKM di lingkungan PKK Tiban Global. Berdasarkan dari hasil dan pembahasan pada kegiatan ini, pelaku UMKM dibekali tentang pendidikan kewirausahaan, strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan pengelolaan keuangan sederhana serta mengenali berbagai skema pembiayaan yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pelaku UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the awareness of companies interested in the practice of environmental innovation and the impact of sustainable business performance, especially from the mediating effect of service innovation. The approach used is a quantitative approach and data collected by researchers through online questionnaires and papers. Data collected were 81 technology companies different in Batam cities. The results show that, 1) environmental innovation has a significant effect on service innovation, 2) service innovation has a significant effect on sustainable business performance, 3) environmental innovation has a significant effect on sustainable business performance, and 4) service innovation as mediation has a significant effect on environmental innovation sustainable business performance. It can be concluded that the four hypotheses are interconnected and play an important role.Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesadaran perusahaan yang tertarik pada praktik inovasi lingkungan dan membawa dampak kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan, terutama dari efek mediasi dari inovasi layanan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantatif dan data dikumpulkan oleh peneliti melalui kuisioner online dan kertas. Data yang terkumpul sebanyak 81 perusahaan teknologi di kota Batam yang berbeda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa, 1. Inovasi lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi layanan, 2. Inovasi layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan, 3. Inovasi lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan, 4. Inovasi layanan sebagai mediasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi lingkungan dan kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Dapat disimpulkan keempat hipotesis tersebut saling berhubungan dan berperan penting.

Abstract

The research aimed to support Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theories such as Perceived Ease ofUse (PEOU), Security (SECU), Brand Loyalty (BL), Behavioural Intention (BI), and the marketing models,Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM), on the use of mobile payments of the Generation Z. The researchers usedthe quantitative method. Using a non-probability sampling method with a convenience sampling technique, therewere 100 respondents of Generation Z. The data were then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that PEOU has no significant effect on BI. SECU and BL affectBI significantly. Then, BI has a significant impact on EWOM. It means that PEOU is not an important factor forGeneration Z to use mobile payment. SECU and BL make the Generation Z continue to use mobile paymentwithout worrying about data privacy issues because BL is embedded in their mind. As a result of BI, GenerationZ will do marketing in the form of EWOM to their closest friends or relatives via social media.

Abstract

This study discusses the Analysis of Cashless Development of Cash Needs. This study aims to see the extent of the readiness of the people in Batam for the use of non-cash transactions (debit / credit cards, emoney, etc.), as well as see whether the community is ready to no longer use paper-based money. This research method is qualitative (primary) or by distributing questionnaires with a total of 400 respondents in Batam and some data from information obtained from news and Bank Indonesia. The results of this study are people in Batam are still not ready yet to no longer use paper money due to internet facility factors that have not reached every region, not to mention because people are accustomed to using paper money, and public knowledge is still minimal in the use of non-cash transactions. The people of Batam prefer to reduce the production of paper based money by Bank Indonesia but do not eliminate the paper-based money because not all regions or transactions can use non-cash transaction facilities.

Abstract

This research conducted to determine the level of user satisfaction of Universal University website so that the website administrator can get an overview of the level of user satisfaction as well as future evaluation materials. Measurement of user satisfaction used End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. Measure of user satisfaction are two methods, End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) and User Information Satisfaction (UIS). Based on the research of Seddon & Yip [4] who conducted a comparison between the EUCS and UIS methods it was found that the EUCS method was more useful than the UIS method. The variables in this research are content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The samples in this study collected from 168 respondents consisting of 3 staffs, 17 lecturers and 148 students. The data collection used a closed questionnaire consisting of 13 question for the five variables being studied. From the data obtained, concluded that the overall level of user satisfaction is in the average value of 2.64 at level 3 (neutral), which means that according to the general respondents’ perception, Universal University website not said satisfactory but also not disappointing. Variables that have assessed as good enough are accuracy and ease of use, while for content, format, and timeliness are still considered for more improvement and developed again. Keywords: user, satisfaction, eucs, website
