Abstract

Road damage is a common problem encountered by road users. As the volume of vehicles increases, the roads become more easily damaged. In addition, the increasing number of cars with loads exceeding the planned load capacity of the road can also shorten the strength life of the road. The AC-WC layer has the potential to be damaged because it often receives direct pressure and friction from the vehicle. The asphalt quality has to be improved to overcome the damage of AC-WC asphalt pavement. Modified asphalt applied to the manufacture of AC-WC can be used to enhance pavement quality. This research aims to investigate the performance of AC-WC with the addition of lycal resin in terms of the Marshall Parameters. The research design begins with preparing and testing the constituent materials used and lycal resin, then making test specimens with optimum bitumen content, then making Marshall test specimens with the addition of lycal resin polymer with respective levels of 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4%. The results of the Marshall test were compared to the stability, flow, MQ, VIM, VMA, and VFA values. The Marshall's test result complies with the 2018 Bina Marga General Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction Works (Revision 2). Abstract

Jalur pedestrian merupakan suatu media yang menunjang pergerakan manusia dari satu tempat ke tempat lain dengan berjalan kaki. Fasilitas ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan, kenyamanan, dan keamanan bagi pejalan kaki.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik pejalan kaki di Kawasan Kajoetangan Kota Malang, (2) mendeskripsikan kelengkapan fasilitas jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Kajoetangan Kota Malang, (3) menganalisis persepsi pengunjung terkait fasilitas jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Kajoetngan Kota Malang, (4) menganalisis tingkat pelayanan fasilitas jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Kajoetangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan survey dan angket. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan Software Microsoft Excell untuk mendapatkan informasi data berupa persentase, proporsi, dan rasio. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) karakteristik pejalan kaki terbanyak adalah perempuan dengan persentase 51%, berumur 19 – 40 tahun dengan persentase 47%, tingkat Pendidikan mayoritas SMA – sederajat dengan persentase 43%, jenis pekerjaan mayoritas pelajar/mahasiswa dengan persentase 53%, dan penghasilan kurang dari Rp 3.200.000 dengan persentase 78%. Maksud dan tujuan pejalan kaki adalah berbelanja dengan persentase 38%. (2) Kelengkapan fasilitas jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Kajoetangan Kota Malang pada segmen 1 memiliki lebar 2,4 pada sebelah Timur, 3 m pada sisi Barat, segmen 2 lebar 5 m, dan segmen 3 sebesar 5 m. Jenis penutup trotoar adalah resin bound paving, fasilitas pada trotoar Kajoetangan di beberapa titik perlu perbaikan seperti tempat duduk dan fasilitas peneduh. (3) Berdasarkan persepsi pengunjung dapat disimpulkan fasilitas jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Kajoetangan Kota Malang adalah baik tetapi perlu perbaikan di beberapa titik. (4) Tingkat pelayanan fasilitas jalur pedestrian di dapat arus terbesar pada hari Sabtu yaitu 2,03 ped/m/mnt. Kecepatan terbesar pejalan kaki pada hari Selasa sebesar 80,19 m/mnt. Kepadatan tertinggi pada hari Minggu sebesar 0,059 ped/m², Ruang berjalan terbesar pada hari Selasa sebesar 194m²/ped. Fasilitas jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Kajoetangan mempunyai tingkat pelayanan A berdasarkan kecepatan, sedangkan berdasarkan arus dan ruang adalah A.

Abstract

Poor road conditions can put drivers at risk, lead to accidents, and create inconvenience and inefficiency on the road. Road maintenance is crucial to keep roads functioning optimally. This research aims to analyze the level of road damage using the IRI (International Roughness Index) and determine the type of maintenance required. The research was conducted on four main streets in Malang City. IRI data was obtained from field surveys using the Roadroid application. The data that has been obtained is processed and analyzed to determine the level of damage and the type of maintenance required. The results of this research are: Tidar Street is 21.05% in good condition, and the remaining 78.95% is in fair condition. Candi V Street is 27.27% in good condition, and 72.73% is in fair condition. Karang Ampel Street is 69.23% in good condition, 23.08% in fair condition, and 7.69% in lightly damaged condition. Bendungan Wonogiri Street is 50% in good condition and 50% in fair condition. The type of maintenance for Tidar Street is determined using the average IRI value approach. With a value of 4.87, Tidar Street requires periodic maintenance. Meanwhile, Candi V Street, Karang Ampel Street, and Bendungan Wonogiri Street are maintained using a segment group system, with each road section requiring two types of maintenance, namely routine maintenance and periodic maintenance.
