Abstract

One of the problems that became a threat to the sustainability of the ecosystem and the balance of the farm is land degradation caused by soil erosion due to rains. Elevation and topography that concerns with the land slope also gives effect to the surface run off rate and erosion. The use of Mucuna bracteata became one of efforts to address land degradation due to surface run off and soil erosion. This research uses Split Plot Design where the land slope as the main plots and the use of Mucuna bracteata swath as sub plots. The main plots consists of 3 levels namely land slope 0 - 8%, land slope 8 - 15% and land slope 15 - 25%, whereas the sub plots consists of 2 levels, namely the use of Mucuna bracteata and without the use of Mucuna bracteata. Research results show that the land slope and the use of Mucuna bracteata effects surface run off and erosion. Significantly the existence interaction between the land slope with the use of Mucuna bracteata. The positive correlation between the intensity of rain with surface run off, and surface run off with erosion. Keywords: land slope, the use of Mucuna bracteata, surface run off, erosion

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of empty oil palm bunches compost (TKKS compost) and soil tillages on upland rice growth and yield as an intercropon immature oil palm plantation. This research was conducted at Experimental Field of Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau on April to August 2016. This research is factorial experiment 4 x 3 and arrangement with Factorial Completely Randomized Block Design (RBD).The first factor is application of TKKS compost (K) with 4 dosage level (tons/ha), K0 (0), K1 (2.5), K2 (5) and K3 (7.5) and second factor is soil tillages (T) with 3 level, zero tillage, minimum tillage and maximum tillage.Each of treatments combination repeated 3 times, thus obtained 36 experimental units which has five samples. Data were analyzed statistically by analysis of variance (ANOVA).The effect of all treatments combination has knowed by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at5 % level. Parameters measured were maximum number of tillers, productive tillers total, rate of plant growth, root and crown ratio, times of panicles out, grains total per panicle, pithy grain percentage, milled rice per plot, and weight of 1000 grains. The result showed combination of 5 tons/ha TKKS compost with maximum tillage gives the greatest result for upland rice growth and yield include milled rice per plot, it is 679.04 g (1.13 tons/ha) though not differwith combination of 7,5 tons/ha TKKS compost with minimum tillage and or maximum tillage significantly. Keywords :Upland rice, TKKS Compost, Soil Tillage

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process using PMRI approach as a solution to build the capacity estimation at the elementary school, this research is to find out the obstacles of the implementation of PMRI approach in the classroom and to know the results of the application of PMRI approach with regard to the ability of elementary students estimate. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The type of research is a class action (PTK). The subjects were students of class V SD N I Sokomoyo with 28 students. Learning core activities include: delivery relistik issues relating to the problems of estimation, group discussions, presentations and conclusions. The results showed that the application of PMRI can foster activeness, courage in presenting their opinions and be able to grow and improve estimates of elementary school students. As for the obstacles that arise in the application of PMRI in class include: a) Students tend to be rowdy in class the more so when the division of the group, and b) Students are afraid to present the results of group discussion in class Keywords: PMRI, estimation, realistic

Abstract

The cultivation of lettuce floating system peat swamps with different media compositions given with urea has never been studied. The aim of this study was to determine the interaction between medium composition and the dose of urea which produces best lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) growth and yield on peat swamp floating cultivation. The research used 4×4 factorial in completely randomized design with two factors. First factor was type of medium composition consists of four levels, 70% peat:5% Inceptisol:20% chicken manure fertilizer:5% OPEFB ash; 60% peat:15% Inceptisol:20% chicken manure fertilizer:5% OPEFB ash; 50% peat:25% Inceptisol:20% chicken manure fertilizer:5% OPEFB ash); 40% peat:35% Inceptisol:20% chicken manure fertilizer:5% OPEFB ash. The second factor was urea dose consists of fout levels, without urea), 2 g per polybag; 4 g per polybag, 6 g per polybag. The results showed that the interaction between the medium composition and the dose of urea had an effect on the yield of lettuce. The composition of 50% peat:25% Inceptisol:20% chicken manure fertilizer:5% OPEFB ash medium produced the best lettuce growth when fertilized with a dose of 2 g per polybag urea.

Abstract

Dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), peran pendidikan sangat penting dalam proses peningkatan sumber daya manusia. Peningkatan pendidikan merupakan proses yang terintegrasi dengan proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia itu sendiri. Menyadari pentingnya proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, pemerintah telah dan terus berupaya untuk mewujudkan amanah tersebut melalui berbagai upaya pengembangan sumber daya manusia di Karawang. Merujuk pada Peraturan Bupati Nomor 66 Tahun 2018 tentang Program Karawang Cerdas. Program ini bertujuan pada Program Karawang Cerdas yang diatur dalam Peraturan Bupati ini yaitu pemberian fasilitas berupa bantuan dan kemudahan memperoleh pembelajaran pada jenjang pendidikan dasar, menengah dan tinggi dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Karawang. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana efektifitas kebijakan program Karawang Cerdas dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia di Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis dan mengetahui efektivitas kebijakan program Karawang Cerdas dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia di Karawang. Hasil penelitian dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara berdasarkan indikator sebagai berikut: (1) Ketepatan sasaran program (2) Sosialisasi program (3) Tujuan program (4) Pencapaian tujuan (5) Pemantauan program. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebijakan program Karawang Cerdas dalam peningkatan sumber daya manusia di Kabupaten Karawang cukup efektif. Berdasarkan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, disarankan agar Dinas Pendidikan dan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Karawang selaku pelaksana teknis program Karawang Cerdas terus mengoptimalkan dan meningkatkan lebih baik lagi setiap tahunya terkait pelaksanaan kebijakan program Karawang Cerdas ini.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the use of Bahasa Indonesia in Kampung Balandongan, Bandung Barat. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the sociolinguistic approach. The data is collected by using see ably and in-depth observational techniques. The sociolinguistic study is done by considering aspects of speech, which are a speaker, addressee, topic, and location. The result of this research shows that there are several people in Kampung Balandongan who use Bahasa Indonesia and there is code mixing in using Bahasa Indonesia. The language which frequently appears is Sundanese since it is still used and developed by some speaker in that place. In using Bahasa Indonesia, the people should know and understand how to use it in a correct way, whether it is in a formal or informal situation, thus there will be no variation in using language in interaction and communication context.

Abstract

Tanaman kacang tanah termasuk suku polong-polongan memiliki manfaat sebagai sumber bahan pangan berprotein tinggi.Rata-rata produksi kacang tanah di Kabupaten Sintang pada tahun2017 adalah 1,33 ton/ha dan masih rendah bila dibandingkan dengan potensi produksi optimalnya yang mencapai 2,0 ton/ha(Soeprapto : 2011).Penyebab utama rendahnya produksi tersebut adalah karena tingkat kesuburan tanah yang kurang.Usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki produktifitas kacang tanah adalah dengan memberikan bahan organik berupa solid kelapa sawit karena perkembangan perindustrian kelapa sawit di Sintang membuat ketersediaan solid menjadi melimpah serta memiliki kandungan bahan organik dan unsur hara yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan solid kelapa sawit dalam meningkatkan hasil kacang tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen lapangan dengan pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Kapuas Sintang dari bulan April sampai Juli 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian solid kelapa sawit dapat meningkatkan hasil tanaman kacang tanah dimana perlakuan terbaik adalah dengan pemberian solid kelapa sawit sebanyak 5,2 kg/m2 dengan rerata jumlah polong isi 59 polong per tanaman dan rerata berat polong isi 88,40 gram per tanaman.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the total biomass of oil palm in oil palm and gaharu agroforestry systems with oil palm monoculture systems. This research was conducted in February 2020 - April 2020 on agroforestry land (1 ha) and monoculture land (1 ha) located in Bukit Kemuning, Kampar - Riau. The method used in this study is a survey method and systematic sampling and determination of sample plots using the zig-zag method. The results of this study indicate that the microclimate is the light intensity in the agroforestry system ranging from 2,672 lux - 10,928 lux and in the monoculture system 3,023 lux - 12,065 lux, the air temperature in the agroforestry system is 27.1oC - 29.8oC and in the monoculture system it ranges from 27, 0oC – 31.8oC and air humidity in agroforestry have a value of 73% - 88% and in monoculture systems, the value ranges from 70% - 80%. The total weight of oil palm plant biomass in the oil palm and gaharu agroforestry system was 4,502.49 kg with an average total biomass of 52.11 tonnes/ha. In the monoculture system, the total weight of biomass in the monoculture system is 4,402.01 kg with an average total biomass of 50.95 tonnes/ha. The results of the 5% level t-test showed that the total weight of oil palm plant biomass in the agroforestry system of oil palm and agarwood plants was not significantly different compared to the total biomass of oil palm plants in the monoculture system. The presence of gaharu plants in the oil palm agroforestry system does not affect the total oil palm biomass on the land.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology today encourages every human being in matters related to the field of industrial or machinery needs, which has a function as a power transfer from the driving force (diesel engine or electric motor dynamo) to the engine to be driven, Gearbox is a component of a machineconsisting of a house for gears, In one of the uses of machine construction and in some components often involves professional welding techniques, one of which is welding using electric arc / Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), the selection of appropriate welding current parameters affects the strength and changes in the mechanical properties of a metal. The current used is too low will cause the difficulty of igniting the electric arc, and the electric arc that occurs is unstable, this test wants to examine using high carbon steel, namely JIS S45C STEEL (ASTM 1045) in the application for gears on the Gearbox through SMAW weldingusing electrodes (E11018-G) Ø3.2 mm with current variations of 90 A, 100 A and 110 A, and see its mechanical properties of NDT testing, tensile testing, and impact testing (charpy). The NDT test results obtained no indication of cracks in the variations of 90, A, 100 A and 110 A and the porosity indication only occurredin the variation of 100 A, in the Tensile test test obtained good results in the current variation of 90 A and the less good occurred in the variation of 100 A. In the Im test test, the results of the NDT test were obtained.
