Abstract

Introduction: Any human exercise will always involve physical conditions in it. there are 10 kinds of components of physical condition, that is strength, endurance, muscle power, speed, flexibility, agility, coordination, balance, accuracy, and reaction. Limb muscles play a leading role in many sports. To improve and develop the physical condition of an athlete, it takes an exercise, an exercise that someone has to do continuously in order to produce maximum movement. Freeletic exercise is one of the techniques used to increase leg muscle strength. This study aims to determine differences in leg muscle strength in freeletic members Makassar before and after the provision of freeletic exercise. Methods: This study is Pre Exsperimental and using one group pre-post test design. The sampling technique is purposive sampling with the number of samples is 20 people based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria for 6 weeks. Measuring tool used is Leg Dynamometer and Squat Test to know the value of muscle strength of limb before and after 18 practice. Results: The results showed there is an effect of freeletic sport to increase legs muscle strength after given 18 times freeletic sport practice with value of P<0,001.

Abstract

Introduction: VO2 max is the maximum oxygen amount of  that can be consumed during intense physical activity until eventually fatigue occurs. A person with a good  level of VO2 max means having good physical fitness as well. Physical fitness gives the ability to a person to do daily productive work in the absence of excessive fatigue. The low one cardiorespiratory fitness may incrase the risk of death from heart disease and hypertension. Giving freeletic exercise is one of the techniques used to improve cardiorespiratory fitness or VO2 max. Methods: This research is Pre-experimental research with one group pre-post test design. The sample of the study amounted to 20 people and freeletic exercise was given 12 times. The measuring tool used is Multistage Test of Fitness / Beep Test to know the level VO2 max  of sample  before and after freeletic sporting practice. Results: The results of this study indicate that 17 respondents experienced a significant increase in VO2 max and 3 other respondents did not experience improvement by giving 12 times freeletic sports exercise. Conclusion: Based on Paired T test to know whether or not there is influence, it can be concluded that there is influence of giving freeletic sport to max VO2 level on freeletic community member after given 12 times (p< 0,001, p<0,05) freeletic sport practice.

Abstract

Foot alignment merupakan keselarasan sumbu vertikal tubuh terhadap posisi normal kaki yang dapat mempengaruhi keselarasan mekanis dan fungsi dinamis ekstremitas inferior yang dapat memberikan dukungan dan menjaga keseimbangan tubuh. Malalignment pada struktur kaki menunjukkan adanya gangguan biomekanik, seperti overpronation memungkinkan terjadi perubahan struktur dan fungsional tubuh yang dapat mempengaruhi ekstremitas inferior dan ekstremitas superior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Eccentric Strengthening Exercises terhadap perubahan Foot Alignment, Malleolus Height dan Tingkat Agility. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian time-series experimental design. Populasi penelitian adalah pemain bulu tangkis junior di Kota Makassar usia 11-15 tahun. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 32 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengambilan data primer melalui instrumen pengukuran foot alignment , malleolus height dan agility. Data yang terkumpul dilakukan uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro Wilk Test. Sebaran data berdistribusi normal. Kemudian dilakukan uji perbedaan pre test dan post test menggunakan uji repeated anova untuk data berdistribusi normal dan uji friedman untuk data berdistribusi tidak normal. Dari hasil pengukuran diperoleh nilai signifikan p=0,0001 (p<0,05) setelah 18 kali pemberian latihan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh eccentric strengthening exercise terhadap perubahan foot alignment, malleolus height dan tingkat agility pada pemain bulu tangkis junior di kota makassar.

Abstract

Osteoartritis knee adalah salah satu penyakit yang disebabkan oleh faktor degenerasi yang paling sering dijumpai pada penyakit musculoskeletal. Keluhan yang sering dialami yaitu kombinasi antara nyeri sendi, kekakuan, ketidakstabilan, pembengkakan, dan kelemahan otot. Osteoartritis knee merupakan salah satu faktor predisposisi yang menyebabkan kecacatan dan penurunan level fungsional seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh kombinasi latihan hold relax dan open kinetik chain dengan latihan hold relax dan close kinetic chain terhadap peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pada pasien osteoartritis knee. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan one group pretest-postetst design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 26 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan 2 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kelompok perlakuan 1 hold relax dan open kinetic chain sebanyak 13 orang, kelompok perlakuan 2 hold relax dan close kinetic chain sebanyak 13 orang. Kedua kelompok sampel diukur kemampuan fungsionalnya menggunakan WOMAC. Latihan dilakukan sebanyak 9 kali perlakuan selama 3 minggu. Analisis pengaruh dilakukan dengan uji paired sample T test pada kelompok 1 dan pada kelompok 2. Uji paired sample t-test pada kelompok 1 hold relax dan open kinetic chain diperoleh nilai p=0,000 ( p<0,05 ). Sedangkan pada kelompok perlakuan 2 hold relax dan close kinetic chain diperoleh nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti ada pengaruh pada kemampuan fungsional sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dari hasil pengujian dengan Independent t-test didapatkan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti ada perbedaan pengaruh hold relax dan open kinetic chain dengan hold relax dan close kinetic chain terhadap peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pasien osteoartritis knee.
