Abstract

Hand hygiene is an important aspect in maintaining individual health and preventing the spread of disease, an effective practice for maintaining hand hygiene is washing hands regularly. Health education is an application of educational concepts in a learning process, namely health education using animated videos. This research aims to determine the effect of health education using animated videos on hand and nail hygiene in elementary school children at SDN Sekarputih 01 Bondowoso. The method in this research used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test approach. The population was 90 student respondents at SDN Sekarputih 01 Bondowoso, 73 samples studied were taken using purposive sampling. Data collection includes editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating. The instruments used are Animation Videos, SOPs, and Modules. The data obtained from this research was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test. The results of this research showed that the cleanliness of hands and nails before being given health education using animated videos was mostly poor 31 (42.5%), after health education using animated videos was mostly very good 52 (71.2%), from the test results The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test shows a value of p = 0.000 with ? = <0.05 (p = 0.000 with ? = <0.05) p is smaller than ?, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an influence of health education using animated videos on hand hygiene and nails. It is hoped that respondents who has lack knowledge about washing hands and cutting nails can apply health education using animated videos very effective because animated videos have interesting advantages and can make respondents focus on their interest in the images displayed.

Abstract

Joint shoreness is a symptom of gout arthritis caused by the presence of monosodium crystal deposits in the joints. The treatment to reduce pain from the shoreness is using lemongrass warm compresses and clove warm compresses. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of lemongrass warm compress and clove warm compress on the reduction of gout arthritis pain in Curahkalong Village, Bangsalsari District, Jember Regency. This type of research is Quasy Experimental, two groups of pre test and post test design. The population was 107 gout arthritis using purposive sampling to find 36 respondents gout arthritis who had inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection uses a numeric pain scale (NRS) observation sheet. Statistical tests use the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The results of the research obtained a pain scale of 4.72 for the pre-test lemongrass group and 3.11 for the post-test. In the clove group, the pre-test was 4.78 and the post-test was 3.39. The results of the Wilcoxon test obtained a p-value of 0.000 in the lemongrass group and the clove group. The results of the Mann-Whitney test obtained different score between the two groups, a p-value of 0.270 with an average value of 20.19 in the lemongrass group and 16.81 in the clove group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse informed consent, legal protection and health workers in the Regional General Hospital of West Papua Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis and verification analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The descriptive method focuses on describing and analysing the research results and the verification method is used to test the relationship between variables. The sample consisted of 35 respondents who were taken using saturated sampling technique. The results of descriptive analysis showed that in the variables of informed consent, legal protection, and health workers were in the category of very unaware of the insights of health workers in the application of informed consent in emergency medical cases, and there were still some shortcomings that must be considered to be corrected. The results of this study indicate that statistically the results of verification tests with multiple linear regression analysis models show that the informed consent variable has a significant effect on health workers with a coefficient value of 0.542 and a p-value of 0.044. Legal protection also has a significant effect on health workers with a coefficient value of 1.755 and a p-value of 0.000. Meanwhile, informed consent, legal protection showed a significant effect simultaneously on health workers with an F value of 14,079 and a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

Introduction: It is noted that 513 women with Indonesian citizenship traveled to Iraq and Syria after being impacted by cyber indoctrination. Among these women, there are those with a manus minustra (victim) status. Some are trapped in Iraq and Syria overseas as they were brought there by their families when they were still young or were babies. Methods: This research employed the classical dogmatic juridical method with a literary approach. This research was conducted to find the best solution for women as victims of terrorists’ indoctrination who have not committed terror acts or women who migrated to Iraq and Syria when they were still young or were babies. Results and Discussion: Social rehabilitation is only given to indoctrination victims who have not committed terror, as well as women who were trapped in Iraq and Syria because they were brought over by their families when they were still young/babies, thus requiring identification. Social rehabilitation is crucial to prevent equal punishments between victims and offenders. Some countries apply social rehabilitation with various methods and requirements, such as Uzbekistan, Germany, and the United States. Conclusion: Rehabilitation is possible as the providing institutions are experienced in giving social rehabilitation to children of terrorism perpetrators. Social rehabilitation in these three countries was successful with various degrees of success. It is deemed as more successful than punishments as the former prevents victims from obtaining further indoctrination in jails

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the HSV color segmentation method for color-based object detection in digital images. The data used consist of digital images in JPG, PNG, or WebP format containing various colored objects, including red tomatoes, yellow bananas, green apples, orange oranges, purple akebia, brown sapodilla, and blue blueberries. The research process involves converting images from BGR to HSV, determining HSV ranges for each color, creating masks, performing segmentation, analyzing pixels, detecting contours, and visualizing results using bounding boxes. The results show that the HSV method effectively detects objects, separates them from the background, and provides quantitative information, including pixel count, area percentage, and average HSV values for each color. Red, yellow, green, orange, purple, brown, and blue colors were successfully segmented, displaying clear and accurate objects, both for single and multiple objects, under various sizes and lighting conditions. These findings confirm that the HSV method is a simple, fast, and effective approach for color-based image analysis.
