Abstract

Solok Selatan Regency is a Regency in the eastern part of the province of West Sumatra. In the County many interesting attractions to visit. As nature tourism, cultural tourism, historical tourism, culinary tourism, and lodging. There has been no use of the android technology to publish existing tourism in Solok Selatan Regency, so information on tourism objects do not meet the attraction of tourists. Tourism android-based applications are used to facilitate tourists in exposing and searching for tourism information in Solok Selatan District. This application can be used as a medium of information at once media Solok Selatan District tourism promotion. This application using GPS on Smartphones to find out the location of the user application and instructions the way to tourist sites through the Google Map. There is a menu to share sights form images to a variety of social media or tools provided on the smartphone, as well as the rating menu to perform the assessment of the tourism objects in the form of the input value rating.

Abstract

Body Mass Index or BMI is an indicator used to measure body weight whether classified as ideal or not. A person's BMI determines by comparing body weight and height which then predicts the standard body value category from the results of renewal. BMI is often used as a measurement tool for the body in carrying out daily diet programs. However, BMI is also often used as a reference for health risks, as a determinant of coronary heart disease or as a measurement tool for diets for people with diabetes mellitus. Using a smartphone that continues to increase over time can be used for ease in calculating a person's BMI. With various methods of making existing systems, such as manual, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or image processing. The manual method requires weight and height data input which is not necessarily the same every time. While BLE requires an external device other than a smartphone to calculate weight and height. From the studies conducted, the image processing method is the most effective. The image processing method takes the data needed to calculate the BMI through the inputted image without the need to manually input data or use an external device other than a smartphone.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is rapidly increasing, giving a very big influence for the world of information and telecommunications technology. One of them is used to facilitate the registration of prospective new students. During this time the process of registering new students in various schools is still manual. In this study the author tries to resolve the above problems by utilizing an information system based on Android mobile for the registration system of prospective new students based on Android mobile to increase the effectiveness and flexibility of the school system. In the study of android applications used in the development of systems where new learners can input data through mobile phones. The study was conducted from the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, to system testing. The purpose of this application is so that it can facilitate prospective new students in registering and the School in conducting and managing new student registration data.

Abstract

For motor vehicles and cars, each year always causes an increase in the number of motor vehicle problems such as leaky tires, running out of gas or breaking down and the number of problems always increases. Where when these problems occur drivers always have difficulty in finding the nearest workshop or help. To seek help for problems with vehicles in the city of Padang, through mobile devices becomes very important considering vehicle users who find it difficult to find help. In this study the author tries to resolve the above problems by creating an Android-based system that makes it easy for motorists and cars to find help with the problems they are experiencing later. In the study of this mobile application the author will utilize GPS on existing smartphones so that they can search for other people who are around the location to make it easier to find the nearest aid provider. The study was conducted from the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, until testing.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemantauan atau memonitoring saat penyewaan rental mobil mengakibatkan tidak dapat mengetahui keberaadaan mobil yang disewakan. Dengan begitu kerap kali usaha rental mobil mengalami kerugian seperti kehilangan mobil dan tidak mengembalikan mobil tepat waktu. Untuk dapat mengetahui keberadaan mobil saat disewakan dan menimalisir kejahatan, sistem penyewaan rental mobil berbasis android untuk mendapatkan informasi pelacakan posisi kendaraan dan keluar masuknya mobil dengan menggunakan GPS. Pada kajian ini penerapan aplikasi android untuk system penyewaan rental mobil dapat memonitoring dan dapat mempermudah mengetahui keberadaan mobil.

Abstract

The development in the field of technology is currently growing rapidly, one of the technological developments at this time is the internet. Then what is obtained by using the internet can also be utilized in the field of transportation, namely by making an Android mobile-based travel ticket booking information system using a smartphone. Travel is a type of transportation service that serves passengers with a door to door or pickup system at the booking address, then delivered to the destination address. However, the process of booking travel tickets today is still done traditionally by coming to the counter or branch office of travel so it takes a lot of time and is inefficient, and there are also several other ways to call a travel agent, sometimes such methods are not effective because of the occurrence of a pile of tickets without accurate data. Therefore this study aims to facilitate travel passengers in searching or booking Travel tickets in the West Sumatra Region by designing an Android mobile application. Apart from that in providing location information to the drivers of the traveling fleet to pick up passengers at certain locations by using Google Maps, and application features such as travel schedules, ticket checks, ticket reservations, and account registration.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat dan maju sehingga berdampak terciptanya alat atau sistem yang mampu bekerja seperti jaringan manusia, salah satu contohnya adalah sistem yang bekerja mirip dengan cara kerja hidung manusia atau e-nose. Dengan adanya bantuan sistem ini, maka dapat membantu mempermudah manusia dalam mengidentifikasi serta mengklasifikasikan bau yang tidak dapat tercium atau terdeteksi oleh hidung manusia serta dapat juga meningkatkan akurasi dan ketepatan dalam mengenali bau-bau yang ada. Cara kerja atau prinsip dari e-nose dalam mendeteksi bau yaitu dengan memanfaatkan berbagai reseptor-reseptor untuk dapat mengklasifikasikan bau dan masing-masing reseptor akan memberikan hasil respon atau output yang berbeda-beda dari satu jenis bau yang diuji. Pendekatan yang dilakukan pada pembuatan kajian ini adalah pengenalan pola yaitu belajar dari pola-pola atau contoh yang telah dicoba sebelumnya untuk dapat dikenali oleh sistem agar dapat mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan atau sesuai target. Untuk dapat membuat sistem deteksi ini dibutuhkan metode yang mampu bekerja seperti jaringan manusia, metodenya yang sering digunakan adalah Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan atau Neural Network. Metode yang sering dipakai dalam membuat e-nose adalah Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan. Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan adalah cara untuk proses informasi yang kerjanya meniru sistem syaraf biologi manusia mirip dengan kerja otak.. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mempelajari dan mendalami penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Hasil studi literatur yang dilakukan menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa implementasi Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation bekerja dengan baik dalam mengenali dan mendeteksi bau. Pada penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa, peneliti dan pihak-pihak terkait dalam merancang dan membangun sistem yang menggunakan metode Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation.

Abstract

Decision support system, or DSS, is a system to support decision making process. One commonly used method is TOPSIS. It is a method for decision making on multi-criteria issues, and is one of the simplest and easiest to understand. One of the functions of TOPSIS is to determine the most sold products. It requires a programming language called PHP to implement it on Website. PHP is a server-side programming language, so, all processes are conducted on server, then given to customers. Further, it requires a database for storing the data and software to manage the database is MySQL.

Abstract

Control and monitoring of water in a tank is a computer instrumentation needed in industry. This final project discusses a water monitoring application in water tornautomatically based on android and supported by a microcontroller. One of the developing technology fields is microcontroller technology. In designing this device, it uses a NodeMCU microcontroller as a data processor and an ultrasonicsensor as data input as well as a buzzer and servo. An ultrasonic sensor is a devicethat can measure the distance of an object by utilizing reflected ultrasonic waves. This water monitoring uses firebase as a database to store data. To displaymeasurement data, the interface is also designed using the Android Studioapplication software in the form of graphs, pump status, and water notifications.The test results show that the ultrasonic sensor used is able to measure water levels from 2 cm to 20 cm with an average measurement error of 4.93%. Water monitoringis designed to be able to produce a system output response according to thereference value given. In addition, water level monitoring can be displayed on the Android software interactively

Abstract

Campus laboratories, especially the Andalas university campus, faculty of agricultural technology, are very important supporting facilities for the continuity of education. In this laboratory, students carry out practical learning which significantly makes students understand the material better. Laboratory management activities at the Andalas campus faculty of agricultural technology are all forms of recording goods and activities that occur in the laboratory. Given the importance of laboratory functions, good laboratory management is an absolute necessity. This allows the campus to more easily get real data from the use of the laboratory by students and activities in the laboratory. This study aims to produce a web and android-based laboratory loan management information system, because compared to a paper basis, laboratory lending and management activities using web and android-based information systems are considered more efficient to implement, because with the web and android all forms of recording can be done easily. easy to do and if data is needed, all authorized parties can easily get the data. The method used in designing this campus laboratory information system uses the waterfall method where this method uses a sequential software lifeflow approach starting from the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Based on this research, it is concluded that with the existence of a web and android-based management information system, it is hoped that laboratory loan management activities at the Andalas campus, faculty of agricultural technology will be better.
