Abstract

FDD (Frequency Division Duplexing) and TDD (Time Division Duplexing) Technology I is a duplex technology on the 4G LTE network. FDD technology in Indonesia is deployed in the 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz frequency bands. Meanwhile, TDD technology uses frequency of 2300 MHz. In order to see the performance from the side of coverage, a measurement of the signal strength is conducted by direct measurements in field so that the appropriate technology and frequency band can be determined for the measurement area. The measurements have been done by two samples of different frequencies, namely 1800 MHz for FDD and 2300 MHz for TDD. Measurement of coverage is conducted on the same existing BTS and different BTS for both FDD and TDD modes. The parameter used in this measurement is the RSRQ value as one of the basic parameters of KPI (Key Performance Indicator). The results of drivetest data obtained the farthest coverage area of 789 m, namely the FDD (Frequency Division Duplexing) technology with frequency of 1800 MHz and TDD with frequency of 2300 MHz for 633 m.

Abstract

The growing use of cellular technology has a rapid impact on the development of technology and information. This development relates to the use of information and communication services that is tailored directly, practically and effectively manner. Responding to the issue, the researcher is interested in conducting research by looking at the parameters using Time Division Duplex (TDD) technology and Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) technology on video streaming services. Service integrity measurement results on LTE networks are carried out in real time in the field according to the research path and eNodeB installed in dedicated mode. Dealing with the results, the effect of DT parameters on service integrity can only be seen in the SINR and CQI parameters. When SINR measured 21.3 dB and CQI measured 13.5, the measured throughput was 3665.2 Kbps so that the measured modulation was 64 QAM, on the other hand, if SINR measured -0.2 dB and CQI measured 10, the measured throughput was 0.5 Kbps so that the modulation measured was small, namely QPSK. From the results obtained, LTE TDD has a better service integrity value, namely throughput has a value of 891.16 Kbps and a latency of 48 ms for Telkomsel while 882.14 Kbps and latency was 49 ms for Smartfren than LTE FDD which had a throughput value of 820.83 Kbps and a latency was 68 ms for Telkomsel while 831.21 Kbps and 77 ms latency were for Smartfren, thus LTE TDD is better in terms of throughput and measured latency.

Abstract

Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) is a method that is able to solve problems with multi criteria. In the evaluation of the final project guidance process students of applied software engineering technology are intended to identify supporting factors as well as obstacles for students in completing the final project. Used several criteria such as liveliness of guidance, guidance response, how to communicate, mastery of materials, problem solving and report writing. The problem in determining the cause of the hampered completion of the final project is the lack of tools that can help in processing the criteria data. The solution is to utilize the SMART method with multi criteria problem solving as a tool in decision making. With the utilization of this method is expected to provide solutions in evaluating the guidance process so that the results can be accepted by all students objectively. With the decision support system model, it is expected to be able to know the problem factor in completing the final project so as to help in the implementation of the final project in the next period.

Abstract

The supply chain is an organization's place to distribute production goods and services to customers. This chain is a network of various organizations that are interrelated and have the aim of carrying out the procurement or supply of goods. Inventory is storing goods in the form of raw materials, semi-finished goods or finished goods that will be used in the production or distribution process. CV. Tre Jaya Perkasa is a company engaged in the distribution of goods such as snacks, drinks and daily necessities. CV. Tre Jaya Perkasa is located in Solok, West Sumatra, Indonesia. From January 2020 to June 2021, CV. Tre Jaya Perkasa has made more than 10 thousand transactions. Based on the sales data, each period (month) of sales transactions can increase and decrease, and the company must plan product sales in the coming period. To maximize profits and minimize losses, a strategy is needed to maintain the availability of goods that are often purchased by customers. From historical transaction data, the company can predict how much stock should be provided for transactions in the coming period. The method used is the moving average method, to measure the error rate of forecasting, MAD, MSE and MAPE are used. Based on the research that has been done, then carried out on the product Trick Potato Biscuit BBQ 24 BOX X 10X18 forecasting comparison between using 3 periods and 5 periods, using 5 product data that are most often purchased by buyers, it was found that the average value of MAD, MSE and MAPE closer to 0 is to use 3-period forecasting.

Abstract

The Geographic Information System for Public Facilities is a system that makes it easier for the public to search and find locations. The more people use this system, the more problems will arise. Because people still use the manual method, namely by asking about the location of public facilities in the surrounding community. This is very ineffective and accurate. Therefore, a public facility information system was built using CI 3, Java, and PHP in the form of android. The method used in this development system is the waterfall method. With this GIS, the public can search for the location of public facilities, find public facilities, and provide a route to the location using the Tracking process to find out where the current position is.

Abstract

This report discusses about the dominant species of no biological data genes. This genes are belong to animal species. Gene is one of a process where the biological data encoded in the gene that instructed by the DNA to convert into a functional product such as protein. In gene classification, with the growth of using gene expression database, there are not enough tools to extract the gene expression from these databases. There exist over 23,000 to 50,000 genes for animal genome. So, this might contribute to data redundancy as problems can happen while handling a huge database. Therefore, to overcome the problem, many approaches to cluster and determine the dominant species have been proposed in the previous literature. For this project, in order to determine the dominant species, the information entropy based method is used. As conclusion, the purpose of this research is to identify the dominant species of no biological genes using entropy method proposed.

Abstract

Eye disease is a serious issue all over the world, and image-based classification systems play an important role in the early detection and management of eye disease. This research compares the performance between Random Forest (RF) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classification models in identifying eye disorders using image datasets divided into four classes: "normal," "glaucoma," "cataract," and "diabetic retinopathy."   The dataset is converted into a feature vector and then divided into training data and test data subsets. The analysis results show that the RF model achieved an accuracy level of 80%, whereas the KNN model achieved 70%. Based on these findings, it is possible to conclude that the RF model outperforms the other models in categorizing the types of eye illnesses in the dataset. A Python-based website was also built utilizing the Flask framework to build an interactive and real-time eye illness diagnosis system. Users can upload photos of their retinas to this website and quickly receive eye disease detection results. The adoption of this technology has a tremendous impact, making eye disease detection solutions more accessible. Furthermore, this solution plays an important role in the early detection and effective management of eye health cases.

Abstract

The level of student attendance at tertiary institutions has a crucial role in determining the quality of education. The Information Technology Department at Padang State Polytechnic realizes the urgent need to increase the efficiency of managing student attendance, which currently still relies on a manual attendance system. As an innovative solution, this research proposes designing a face-based attendance system that utilizes facial recognition technology to verify student attendance automatically. One of the challenges in developing a face-based attendance system is the accuracy of calculating the distance between the student's location and the institutional location. To overcome this problem, the research used the Vincenty Formula method which was proven to have a high level of accuracy in calculating the distance between two points on the earth. The integration of this method is expected to increase the accuracy of calculating the distance between the student's location and the institution. Apart from that, this attendance system adopts the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm, an algorithm specifically designed to process two-dimensional data. CNN is used to learn and detect features in images so that facial recognition can be done with a high level of accuracy. This approach is expected to improve system performance in recognizing and verifying student attendance.
