Abstract

Based on data from Central Statistics Agency for 2022, the number of beef cattle in the Meranti Islands is 3,927 tail, 9 buffaloes and 7,985 goats. This very large livestock population is certain to produce large amounts of livestock manure because the cattle population is always directly proportional to the production of livestock manure. This assistance has a purpose aims to produce appropriate technology through the use of solid and liquid waste from livestock manure as a source of biogas. The method devotion is counseling and assistance regarding biogas originating from livestock manure in livestock groups in the Meranti Islands. The institution that will be a partner in biogas development technology activities is the Mantiasa Village independent cattle group, which is a non-productive livestock group. The community service parameters observed is the degree of acidity (pH). The results of the service obtained by the Mantiasa Village livestock group can utilize Biogas from livestock waste which is always available and can be distributed to 3-5 families, so that breeders and the community no longer use conventional gas for cooking. The use of biogas products by breeders and the community can save people's living costs because the price of conventional gas for cooking is high.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the internal and external conditions of the Goluak Loge hand-written batik MSME in Logas village to develop its business for the better. The data collection technique used in this study was a census with a sample size of 16 respondents consisting of 10 MSME workers and 6 constumers of the Goluak Loge hand-written batik MSME. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used in this research is SWOT analysis. Based on the research results from the SWOT analysis, it show that the Goluak Loge hand-written batik MSME is in quadrant 1 (Agressive Strategy). From the results of the SWOT diagram drawing, it show that Goluak Loge hand-written batik MSME in Logas village has a strategy in developing its business both in the internal and external environment. This aggressive strategy focuses more on the SO (Strength-Opportunities) strategy, namely by optimizing strengths to take advantage of existing opportunities.

Abstract

Pada masa wabah covid-19, banyak pelaku UMKM mengalami kendala. Salah satu UMKM yang masih bertahan hidup di desa Parit Kebumen adalah bisnis yang dapat digolongkan sebagai makanan dan minuman, seperti bubuk kopi. Meskipun ini adalah salah satu UMKM yang dapat bertahan, selama wabah, pendapatan pelaku UMKM mengalami pengurangan karena keterbatasan berupa “ social distancing”. Disaat kondisi yang seperti ini, penduduk desa berinovasi dengan membuat kemasan baru bagi produk untuk dijual dan memasarkannya melalui media online. Tren media online atau penggunaan digital dalam pemasaran saat ini dapat meningkatkan penjualan para pelaku UMKM, termasuk bisnis bubuk kopi di desa Parit Kebumen. Melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan mahasiswa dapat membantu penduduk desa bertahan hidup di era baru yang normal.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the profiles of Self-Efficacy (SE) and Self-Directed Learning (SDL) among students at Universitas Riau, providing insights into their potential for academic and non-academic achievement. The findings indicate that 31% of the outstanding students were male, while 69% were female. The average SE scores were 4.36 for male students and 4.31 for female students, while the SDL scores were 4.20 for males and 4.18 for females. The results show no statistically significant differences between male and female students in terms of SE and SDL, suggesting that both genders have equal opportunities for success in academic and non-academic pursuits.

Abstract

There are various factors that cause women to experience difficulties in getting work, even though they already have a bachelor's degree. Some of them are influenced by age, salary, work experience and GPA. Therefore, researchers conducted an analysis of the factors that influence the length of time looking for work for women graduates of the Development Economics Study Program, FEB, Riau University, which aims to determine the influence of age, wages and work experience on the length of looking for work for educated female workers who graduated from the FEB Development Economics Study Program. Riau University. The analytical model used in this research is multiple linear regression data. The sample used was 78 students from a total population of 781 female students who graduated from the S1 Development Economics Study Program, Riau University from 2013 to 2018. The results of this research show that the most influential thing is the length of time looking for work for women who graduated from the Development Economics Study Program, FEB Riau University. is choosing too many jobs with the desired wage standard. Meanwhile, the factors of age, work experience and GPA have a significant influence.

Abstract

Background: Rendahnya pemahaman terhadap karakteristik produk/jasa keuangan yang berbasis digital menyebabkan masyarakat terlilit hutang hingga menjadi korban penipuan. Organisasi perempuan secara strategis ditargetkan sebagai audiens untuk kegiatan keterlibatan masyarakat ini karena perempuan cenderung lebih peka terhadap masalah keuangan dan memainkan peran utama dalam mengelola keuangan rumah tangga serta mendidik anak-anak mereka tentang uang. Tujuan PkM ini adalah untuk memberikan literasi keuangan digital dan perencanaan keuangan rumah tangga dengan baik kepada kelompok oganisasi perempuan di Teluk Kuantan. Metode: Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode pendidikan masyarakat berupa ceramah, sedangkan evaluasi kegiatan dalam bentuk pre dan post-test. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti pengabdian sebanyak 65 orang dari organisasi perempuan di Teluk Kuantan. Hasil: Kegiatan sosialisasi ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman pengurus organisasi perempuan di Teluk Kuantan terkait literasi keuangan digital dan pentingnya investasi jangka panjang, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mencapai 9,5%. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan digital dan perencanaan keuangan rumah tangga di kalangan perempuan, menyoroti pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan dan partisipatif untuk memperkuat ketahanan keuangan di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja (TPAK) perempuan di kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Riau. TPAK perempuan menggambarkan sejauh mana perempuan berperan aktif dalam kegiatan ekonomi. Rendahnya TPAK perempuan di Riau menjadi isu penting karena peningkatan partisipasi perempuan di pasar kerja dapat mendorong kesejahteraan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis regresi data panel menggunakan metode Common Effect Model (CEM). Variabel independen yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, pendidikan, dan upah minimum, sedangkan variabel dependennya TPAK perempuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap TPAK perempuan. secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap TPAK perempuan. Di antara ketiganya, pendidikan merupakan faktor paling dominan yang memengaruhi TPAK perempuan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas dan akses pendidikan bagi perempuan guna memperkuat partisipasi mereka di pasar kerja dan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi daerah.

Abstract

Abstrak: Menumbuhkembangkan semangat kewirausahaan dilakukan pemerintah dan swasta untuk mengatasi pengangguran dan mendorong perekonomian. Namun, kinerja positif dari UMKM belum sepenuhnya dirasakan oleh pelaku usaha itu sendiri, dalam hal ini pengusaha perempuan (womenpreneur). Kebanyakan pengusaha perempuan di negara-negara berkembang masih beroperasi di usaha kecil dan mikro dengan pertumbuhan yang lebih kecil dan kurang produktif dibandingkan laki-laki, dengan jenis usaha di sektor perempuan informal dan tradisional, dan hal faktor ini menjadi pendorong diselenggarakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Tujuan PkM ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman pengusaha perempuan mengenai model bisnis kewirausahaan Business Model Canvas (BMC). Kegiatan PkM dilakukan pada perempuan pengusaha di Desa Koto Baru Kecamatan Singingi Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi melalui tiga tahapan yaitu pre-test, ceramah, dan evaluasi (post-test) sebanyak empat pertanyaan. Dari kegiatan ini diperoleh bahwa setelah diberikan pelatihan dan sosialisasi mengenai BMC, pengetahuan dan pemahaman womenpreneur di Desa Koto Baru mengalami peningkatan dari 67 persen bertambah menjadi 76 persen, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil kertas kerja bisnis Canvas yang dihasilkan para peserta dalam membuat model bisnis sesuai dengan usaha yang dijalani.Abstract: Fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship is carried out by government and the private sector to overcome unemployment and boost the economy. However, the positive performance of MSMEs has not been fully felt by the business actors themselves, in this case women entrepreneurs itself, in this case women entrepreneurs (womenpreneurs). Most women entrepreneurs in developing countries still operate in small and micro businesses with smaller and micro enterprises with smaller growth and less productivity than their male counterparts, with types of business in the informal and traditional women's sectors, and this is the driving force to organize this community service activity. The purpose of this community service is to provide understanding of women entrepreneurs about the Business Model Canvas (BMC). Community service activities were carried out on 15 women entrepreneurs in Koto Baru Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency through three stages, namely pre-test, lecture, and evaluation (post-test) with four questions. From this activity, it was found that after being given training and socialization about BMC, the knowledge and understanding of womenpreneurs in Koto Baru Village increased from 67 percent to 76 percent. It can be shown by the results of Canvas business working paper produced by the participants in creating a business model following the business being undertaken.

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan yang dialami mitra umumnya penjualan produk masih menggunakan cara konvensional, rendahnya partisipasi dan kompetensi terhadap penggunaan platform e-commerce di marketplace online. Pada pengabdian ini memberikan pelatihan dan praktik tentang mekanisme penjualan produk menggunakan platform e-commerce melalui marketplace yakni Shopee. Metode penerapan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, demonstrasi/praktik, dan diskusi. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 7 orang yang merupakan pengrajin batik. Dari kegiatan ini tim berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dengan bisa membuat toko online “Goluak Loge” dan menampilkan produk batiknya di platform e-commerce Shopee. Dilihat nilai rataan, sebelum pengabdian semua peserta memiliki pemahaman sebesar 64% dan bertambah menjadi 87% setelah adanya pengabdian. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta yang mampu memasarkan produk menggunakan platform Shopee diharapkan semakin banyak usaha masyarakat desa yang go digital.Abstract: The problems experienced by partners are generally used conventional methods in selling products, low participation and competence in using e-commerce platforms in online marketplaces. This service provides training and practice on product sales mechanisms using the e-commerce platform through the marketplace, namely Shopee. The application method used is lecture, demonstration, and discussion. In the implementation of this activity was conducted to 7 batik craftswomen. From this activity the team succeeded in improving the skills of the participants by being able to create an online store "Goluak Loge" and display their batik products on the Shopee e-commerce platform. Looking at the mean value, participants included in the training also seem to have gained knowledge of digital marketing. Before the training, their understanding is 64% and then increased to 87% after the training. An increasing number of people are now using the e-commerce platforms to offer the product and services, it is expected that more rural businesses will go digital.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan di pasar modal Indonesia yang semakin meningkat tidak diikuti dengan literasi investasi pasar modal terutama Generasi Z (gen Z) di SMKN 6 Pekanbaru. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada gen Z tentang berinvestasi saham di pasar modal secara cerdas dan memberikan pemahaman tentang pasar modal dan produk-produknya dengan mengubah paradigma dari saving society menjadi investment society. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau bekerja sama dengan Bursa Efek Indonesia Perwakilan Riau di SMKN 6 Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini dilakukan kepada 64 siswa dengan tiga tahapan yaitu pre-test, edukasi pasar modal, dan evaluasi kegiatan (post-test). Adapun jumlah soal untuk pre-test dan post-test masing-masing 8 soal. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang belum mengetahui cara berinvestasi saham. Setelah diberikan literasi pasar saham, evaluasi post-test dilakukan yang hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 70% pengetahuan dan minat siswa dalam berinvestasi saham mengalami peningkatan.Abstract: The increasing development in the Indonesian capital market is not accompanied by capital market investment literacy, especially Generation Z (gen Z) at SMKN 6 Pekanbaru. This community service activity aims to educate Gen Z about investing in shares in the capital market intelligently and provide an understanding of the capital market and its products by changing the paradigm of a saving society to an investment society. This activity was conducted by the Community Service Team from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau in collaboration with Indonesia Stock Exchange Riau Representative in SMKN 6 Pekanbaru. This activity was carried out on 64 students in three stages, namely pre-test, capital market literacy, and evaluation (post-test). There are 8 questions for each pre-test and post-test. The pre-test results show that many students still do not understand how to invest in stock. After being given stock market literacy, a post-test evaluation was distributed which the result showed that more than 70% of the students’ knowledge and interest in investing in stocks had increased.
