Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how big influence of entrepreneurial knowledge to entrepreneurship interests Student Program the Study of Faculty of Management of Saint Thomas Catholic University Medan. Research type used by descriptive and kuantitatif. Sampel research as much 96 Responder with the method of maximum sampling error intake from population conducted at random (random sampling). Data required to be collected through kuesioner by online. Method Analyse the data used is with the simple linear regression analysis. Result of research descriptively that entrepreneurial knowledge of Student Program the dominant Management Study agree equal to 51,04 % to entrepreneurial knowledge. While equal to 44,17 % that entrepreneurial knowledge can support the Student to hanker the entrepreneurship. Result of examination obtained: 1). Coefficient Determinasi ( R2) equal to its 0,230 meaning entrepreneurial knowledge able to explain the entrepreneurship interests of Student equal to 23,0 %, and 77,0 % is again influenced by other;dissimilar factor which is not explained this research (for example introductory sinergi entrepreneurial knowledge of Business, Makerting, e-commerce). 2). Equation of Regresi Y = 1.966+0,490+e. Where about mount the signifikan 0.000 < 0,05, by t-hitung equal to 5.306 > t-tabel equal to 1,65 hence Ho refused its meaning entrepreneurial knowledge own the influence which are positive and signifikan to entrepreneurship interests of Student. Suggested: 1). Because coefficient determinasi ( R2) still equal to its 0,230 meaning still lower the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge able to explain the entrepreneurship interests of Student, hence to support and also to grow the entrepreneurial knowledge of Student needed the make-up of items more aplikatif with the support sinergi from entrepreneurial knowledge other; dissimilar like Business. Marketing, e-commerce.2). Because reason appearance there still donot hanker and reason hanker the entrepreneurship from Student, hence to overcome it have righteously University of Roman of Santo Thomas Medan form the Unit of Student Co-Operation as training basin and or place learn the entrepreneurship for Student support they become the entrepreneurial to be getting out of unemployment later. 3). For the research of here in after better add the other; dissimilar variable outside this research which can explain the variable of dependen of entrepreneurship interests of Student like opportunity, personality, motivate the entrepreneurship, environmental of family after student become the collegiate and others

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and explain the effect of price, promotion and brand image on purchasing decisions at PT. Honda Indako Binjai. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 96 consumers who already owned a Honda Scoopy stylish sporty motorbike. Testing techniques used in research are validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing (F test and t test) and analysis of the coefficient of determination. Data analysis using SPSS version 22. From the results of the study showed multiple linear regression equations where: Y= 4.740+0.369X1+0.145X2+0.251X3+e. Simultaneously (F test) price, promotion, and brand image have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (F-count of 50.344 > F-table 2.70). Partially (t test) the price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions where t-count 5.545>t-table 1.66159 with a significant level of 0.000 t-table1,66159 with a significant level of 0.000 t-table 1.66159 with a significant level of 0.013

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quality on the satisfaction of members of the Karya Murni Savings and Loans Cooperative Medan. The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample was 96 respondents with the maximum sampling error sampling method from the population carried out randomly. The required data was collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the trend of the number of cooperative members, the remaining operating results and the total assets of the cooperative decreased, this happened because of the dissatisfaction of the members in terms of the loan interest rates offered were higher than other savings and loan cooperatives, the length of time span between the application and loan disbursement ( checking files, guarantees, checking guarantees) while the need for funds is urgent, there are many administrative costs (fee to become a member, notary deed fees, fees if members borrow, loan administration fees and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic that makes members' businesses stand still and unable to do so). paying dues obligations and loan installments this makes members leave the cooperative. Based on the F-test, with a significant level of 0.000 F-table which is 2.58, meaning that service quality simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on member satisfaction. The results of the t-test, that the tangibles variable, has a positive effect on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative, but it is not significant on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative. While empathy has a negative effect on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative, but it is significant on the satisfaction of the members of the cooperative. Seeing the weakness of the t-test of the tangible and empathy variables, it is suggested that the management of the cooperative needs to review it by providing a uniqueness that is different from other competitors so that members can enjoy the results that are felt to exceed expectations, so that members will be very satisfied and remain loyal to the services offered. by members of the Karya Murni Savings and Loans Cooperative Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how big the influence of Entrepreneurship Knowledge, Personality and Family Environment on Entrepreneurial Interest of Students of the Faculty of Economics, Santo Thomas Catholic University, Medan. The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample was 40 respondents using a census sampling method from the population based on respondents who answered the questionnaire as training participants on research data processing with Microsoft SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science). The required data was collected through answers from online questionnaires. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study of the Entrepreneurial Knowledge variable partially positive and significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest, the Personality variable partially has a negative effect, but is significant on Entrepreneurial Interest, the Family Environment variable partially has a positive and significant effect on Student Entrepreneurial Interest. Entrepreneurial knowledge, personality and family environment have a significant effect on Student Entrepreneurial Interest. Variations in entrepreneurial knowledge, personality and family environment are able to explain variations in Student Entrepreneurial Interests by 95.1%. Recommended; because the Personality variable partially has a negative but significant effect on Student Entrepreneurial Interest, then to support this personality variable for students there must be support from the family and an increase in curriculum competence from Entrepreneurship Courses. There are still many reasons that students are not interested in entrepreneurship, so to overcome them, it is appropriate for the institution to review the availability of teaching and learning facilities that really help students to master entrepreneurship material and assist lecturers in conveying knowledge that can support the growth of their intention to become entrepreneurs now and in the future they are free from unemployment. For further research, it is better to add specific or distinctive indicators from this study that can support personality variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze servicescape that has an effect on image, hospitality has an effect on image, and servicescape and hospitality have simultaneously had an effect on image on the library of the Catholic University of Santo Thomas Medan. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive research method. . The population in this study were all active students in the 2022/2023 Academic Year, totaling 6,540 people. The technique for determining the sample in this study used Propotionate Stratified Random Sampling. As for determining the number of samples (n) used is referring to the Slovin approach. From the results of calculating the number of samples used in this study, there were 98 respondents. The scale of data measurement in this study used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of the study show that (1) the servicescape variable has a positive and significant effect on the image, (2) the hospitality variable has a positive and significant effect on the image, and (3) the servicescape and hospitality variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the image of the Library of the Catholic University of Santo Thomas Medan .

Abstract

This research aims to assess lecturer satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Santo Thomas Catholic University, Medan. Utilizing a descriptive and quantitative approach, the study includes 36 respondents selected through census sampling. Data collection employed a questionnaire via a Google Form link, and the analysis method used is descriptive. Results reveal that the dimension of Research and Scientific Work signifies strong satisfaction (scale 4) among lecturers, with the highest score of 76.04% out of the 9 studied dimensions. Competency Development, Career/Position Development, Community Service (PkM), Library Services, Administrative Services, Additional Tasks, Welfare Needs, and Social/Religious Needs register satisfaction at scale 3 (Fair/Medium), ranging from 0.50% to 0.75%. Dissatisfaction levels are weak/low, below 0.50%. Recommendations include improving elements related to Research and Scientific Work, which are currently at scale 4. Additionally, efforts are needed to enhance satisfaction levels in Competency Development, Career/Position Development, Community Service (PkM), Library Services, Administrative Services, Additional Tasks, Welfare Needs, and Social/Religious Needs, aiming for scale 4 and 5.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality (tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance) on patient satisfaction at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of the Community Health Center (UPTD Puskesmas) Kabanjahe, Kabanjahe District, Karo Regency. Data obtained directly from respondents (patients). The number of samples with maximum error (error) obtained 96 people. The analysis technique used in this research is validity and reliability test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study with the equation Y=2,074+0,087B+0,284E-0,007KH+0,116KT+0,400J+ e. This means that the quality of service (tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness and assurance) reflects that there is still a problem of patient dissatisfaction with the quality of services provided by the Health Center. The results of the F test, that the quality of service (tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness and assurance) simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. This can be seen from the significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 . The results of the t test, tangibles and responsiveness partially have a positive but not significant effect, and reliability have a negative and insignificant effect on patient satisfaction. While the results of the t test, empathy and assurance partially have a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. The value of the determinant coefficient (R Square) is 0.601, meaning that patient satisfaction can be explained by the quality of service (tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance) of 60.1%, while another 39.9% is explained by other variables that are not explained. in this research, such as security, location, environment etc. Based on the results of the study that by looking at the results of the t test, tangibles and responsiveness partially have a positive but not significant effect, and reliability have a negative and insignificant effect on patient satisfaction. So it is suggested that the management of the Health Center needs improvement (officers who can provide health services reflect a high commitment to the principles of health services at the Kabanjahe Health Center in Karo Regency. The equipment provided is incomplete. The service is in accordance with the promises offered. The ability of the medical team to use assistive devices in the service process ) to increase patient satisfaction. Then by looking at the magnitude of other factors (39.9%) of patient dissatisfaction with the quality of service (tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance), the management of this health center still needs to make improvements in many ways for service satisfaction to the community.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran promosi dan citra merek terhadap tingkat penjualan pada PT. Dilan Kaya Medan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 96 responden (teknik maximum sampling error) untuk responden yang sudah pernah membeli parfum di PT. Dilan Kaya Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa periklanan, promosi penjualan, publisitas dan citra merek secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume penjualan PT Dylan Rich Medan. Secaraa parsial Advertising, Personal Sales dan Sales Promotion berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Volume Penjualan pada PT Dylan Rich Medan. Sedangkan publisitas dan citra merek berpengaruh negatif terhadap volume penjualan pada PT Dylan Rich Medan. Koefisien determinasi (R2) adalah 0,549. Koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R square) = 52%, sedangkan 48% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan, manajemen PT Dylan Rich Medan perlu meningkatkan variabel publisitas, dan variabel citra merek perusahaan.
