Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of organizational climate and quality of work-life on teachers’ creativity throughout state vocational high schools in Serang, Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This work involved 164 civil servant teachers in state vocational high schools in Serang, Indonesia as the sample. As the major analysis tool, we used a multiple linear regression model. The hypothesis test used the t-test and f-test. The study revealed that: i) Organizational climate positively and significantly influenced the civil servant teachers’ creativity amid the COVID-19 pandemic with a significance value of .000 (α<.005); ii) The quality of work-life also had a positive and significant effect on the teachers’ creativity during this difficult situation has significance value of .000 (α<.005); and iii) The quality of their work influenced both organizational climate and the creativity of state vocational high school teachers living in Serang, Indonesia, with a determination coefficient of .861 or 86.1% during the pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the results of implementing the 12-year compulsory education program using the CIPP model in Southeast Sulawesi study using a qualitative approach with a CIPP evaluation method (context, input, process, and product). The research was conducted in the Province of Southeast Sulawesi, specifically at the Department of Education and Culture of Southeast Sulawesi. The participants involved were the head of the education and culture office at the Southeast Sulawesi Province Education and Culture Office and the head of the section responsible for managing elementary to high school education. School principals and teachers from elementary school, junior high school and senior high school are 50 people. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study consisted of three stages, namely 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) conclusion. The study results showed that the 12-year compulsory education program had been implemented correctly. The context aspect had been carried out by the laws and regulations set by the government. The input aspect showed that program planning was adjusted to legality and field needs. However, the resources for education personnel were still lacking, and the government in Southeast Sulawesi government had appointed honorary teachers and provided various training to improve their competence. Whereas in the process aspect, it was shown in the lack of learning facilities and infrastructure, which still needs to be completed by developments in global needs so that graduates can be qualified, and in the product aspect, it has been shown by the achievement of pure enrollment rates and gross enrollment rates that exceed the initial target. So, this research has implications for the awareness of all parties involved in the implementation of education that the responsibility for the success of this compulsory education program requires cooperation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku kreatif guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri di Jakarta Selatan selama pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 304 siswa dari SMP Negeri di Jakarta Selatan yang diambil secara acak proporsional. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji signifikansi regresi dan uji linieritas. Kemudian untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi product moment, koefisien determinasi dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku kreatif guru memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Perilaku kreatif yang dapat dilakukan guru diantaranya adalah pembuatan video pembelajaran sendiri, menggunakan nada nyanyian untuk materi pelajaran yang sulit, mengambil contoh yang berasal dari sekitar rumah siswa, dan membuat channel youtube sendiri. Perilaku kreatif guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran yang aktif inovatif kreatif efektif dan menyenangkan akan menguatkan motivasi belajar siswa selama pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital-based academic management services for students of the Open University Elementary School Teacher Education study program. This research approach is qualitative with a case study method. The subject of this research is students and the head of the tertiary institution. Data collection was carried out using documents, observations, questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis refers to qualitative research. The results showed that 1) OU's planning management is considered very good for the process of providing the education needed by students. 2) OU coordinates and places the right people in every part needed in the implementation of education at OU so that the academic services provided to students can be maximized and meet student needs. 3) The implementation of OU's service management is carried out by the operational procedures set by OU. OU is developing and improving the quality of management to provide excellent service to students. 4) The evaluation management that OU already has also shown an evaluation process that is systematic and by the procedures owned by OU in providing services to students

Abstract

Character education is an important component in the framework of developing moral and ethical values in students. In the era of Society 5.0, where digital technology has become an important part of everyday life, digital literacy is an important factor in strengthening character education. Digital literacy refers to an individual's ability to use, evaluate, and actively participate in the digital environment. This study aims to explain the role of digital literacy in strengthening character education in the era of Society 5.0. The research method used is a literature study by collecting data from various relevant sources. This study analyzes the relationship between digital literacy and strengthening character education by considering aspects such as technological knowledge, digital skills, responsible online media behavior, and ethical awareness in the digital world.  The results show that digital literacy can be an effective way to strengthen character cultivation in the era of society 5.0. Through digital literacy, learners can develop values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, cooperation, and problem solving. Digital literacy can also help learners understand social, economic, and cultural impacts and promote responsible attitudes in their use. In conclusion, digital literacy has an important role in strengthening character education in the era of Society 5.0. By paying attention to aspects of technological knowledge, digital skills, responsible online behavior, and ethical awareness, digital literacy can help learners develop strong moral and ethical values in the use of digital technology. Collaborative efforts between various parties are needed to overcome challenges and ensure effective integration of digital literacy in character education in the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

Dalam konteks pendidikan, kepemimpinan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menggerakkan potensi sumber daya madrasah. Kepala madrasah memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memimpin dan mengelola semua aspek kegiatan pendidikan, termasuk guru, siswa, kurikulum, pengembangan program, serta hubungan dengan orang tua dan masyarakat. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji secara lebih mendalam tentang penerapan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dalam konteks pendidikan Islam dan untuk memahami bagaimana kepemimpinan transformasional dapat berkontribusi dalam mengangkat standar pendidikan dan meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dalam hal mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Kepala madrasah mengadopsi strategi yang mencakup tiga tahap, yaitu input, proses, dan output. Dalam input, seleksi ketat diterapkan baik untuk siswa baru maupun guru. Proses pembelajaran juga diberikan perhatian serius untuk menghasilkan output yang berkualitas. Strategi tersebut saling terkait dan mendukung satu sama lain. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang inklusif, bijaksana, dan fokus pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan telah berdampak positif pada keseluruhan lingkungan pendidikan di MI Wali Songo Asy-Syirbaany.

Abstract

Competent human resources (HR) are one of the main pillars that build the competitiveness of a nation. Quality human resources that are able to answer future needs. In Indonesia, the rules regarding compulsory education and national education are contained in Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system. Currently, According to the Indonesian Red Cross Professional Certification Institute, there were only 224 certified people from a total of 8274 staff and 45,685 volunteers. Answering these needs, Professional Certification Institutions are needed for Competency Test Sites. it turns out that many Branch/Regency PMIs have not established/formed Professional Certification Bodies due to limited facilities and infrastructure to meet the standards for the establishment of Competency Test Sites in accordance with BNSP Guidelines.The research design used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research to find facts and interpret about "Management of Facilities and Infrastructure of Professional Certification Institutions PMI Competency Test East Jakarta Branch" to accurately describe the properties of several realities of managing organizational / institutional facilities and infrastructure. Facilities and Infrastructure Management carried out by PMI East Jakarta Branch to conduct competency tests is divided into several stages: The Planning Stage, namely organizing competency test facilitie. Planning also discusses the analysis of facilities and infrastructure needs carried out by the operational sector.
