The focus issue in this discussion is how the urgency of fostering religious values in public life heterogeneous in Indonesia and how to provide guidance in religious values in public life heterogeneous in Indonesia ?. The purpose of this study was to describe the urgency of fostering religious values in public life heterogeneous in Indonesia and to provide guidance in religious values in the life of a heterogeneous society in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the Indonesian people have an emphasis in terms of harmony in the lives of its people. This can be seen in the first principle of Pancasila that Almighty God. Therefore, development of religious values in public life Indonesia is considered very important. Formation of religious values can be reached through religious education to reinforce faith in the truth of religion and its values. In addition, the formation of religious values do habituation through worship that is manifested in the behavior of everyday life. Fostering religious values also need to be supported by the appreciation of the values of religion since from the family, school and community.Keywords: building, value, religious, heterogeneous.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya guru PKn dalam pembentukan karakter religius siswa SMA N 1 Kotabunan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Kotabunan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur. Penelitian ini ditujukan kepada Guru PKn dan siswa SMA N 1 Kotabunan. Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh langsung dari guru PKn yang melihat dan menangani masalah pembentukan karakter religius siswa SMA N 1 Kotabunan. Di samping data primer dikumpulkan data sekunder segala sumber informasi yang dapat menunjang data primer. Data sekunder masih bersifat umum dan masih berhubungan dengan fenomena yang diteliti. Data sekunder antara lain tentang data sekolah, keadaan sekolah, jumlah guru dan pegawai/karyawan, sarana dan prasarana di sekolah. Data ini melalui wakil kepala sekolah dan sumber data yang ada di sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Peneliti dapat menyimpulkan beberapa hal yaitu: (1). Guru PKn sudah mengupayakan proses pembentukkan karakter religius siswa tapi belum maksimal. (2). Guru PKn mengalami kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembentukan karakter religius pada siswa. (3). Guru PKn belum mampu membentuk karakter religius siswa sesuai dengan kompetensi yang ingin dicapai. Penelitian ini merekomendasi penelitian lanjut tentang nilai-nilai religious yang mempengaruhi perkembangan siswa..

This study aims to describe the internalization of multicultural valuesfor students at Manado State University. The diversity of Indonesian society is a rich gift of God. Therefore, this diversity must be managed properly in order to have a positive impact on the people of Indonesia. Differences should not be a reason for conflict in the community. One effort that can be done is to internalize multicultural valuesthrough the education process.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach related to the process of internalizing multicultural valuesin Manado State University students, especially in the Faculty of Social Sciences as the object of research. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation, while data analysis is done by the process of presenting data, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the internalization of multicultural valuesis developed through learning activities in the classroom through Multicultural Education, Religious Education, and Valuesand Moral Education courses. In addition, the internalization of valuesis also carried out through student activities and interactions within the faculty and university environment.

Indonesian education during the Covid-19 era entered a different situation. The real situation has long been predicted by technology experts that all areas of life will enter the realm of digital technology-based activities, including education. For this reason, education in Indonesia must be able to find new directions for education in formulating policies to be taken. One of the important things that must be prepared is at the education planning level. The problem that needs to be studied is how educational institutions formulate educational program planning during the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining the quality of education. Educational planning carried out by educational institutions must reflect the existence of a vision, mission, goals and work plans, as raw materials or a reference for educational policies at the managerial level. This paper will discuss the education planning process in terms of its implications for quality-oriented education policy during a pandemic.

The development of religious character is not only within the scope of formal education but must target non-formal education, such as in the hijrah community. The phenomenon of the hijrah community now dominates the da'wah movement in various cities, including Manado as a Muslim minority city. This study aims to determine religious character education in the hijrah community and its activities in Manado. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and qualitative content analysis techniques. This study indicates that religious character education in the hijrah community is carried out by learning activities about basic knowledge of Islam and social activities. The findings of this study also show that the hijrah community in Manado carries out social activities by collaborating religious values with the values of local wisdom.

Abstrak: Meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam bekerja merupakan sebuah keharusan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Guru merupakan aktor utama pada peserta didik, sehingga bila guru memiliki motivasi tinggi akan mampu menjadikan guru yang loyal, inovatif dan produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahamana mengenai motivasi guru dalam bekerja dari perspektif Islam. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini guna memahami pandangan dari responden. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 35 guru yang tersebar di pulau Jawa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi guru dalam bekerja perspektif Islam adalah spiritual Islam meliputi iman, taqwa, dan Ihsan serta hadian/penghargaan dan hukuman. Penelitian ini jelas mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi perspektif Islam berbeda dengan motivasi dari sudut pandang barat.Abstract: Increasing teacher motivation at work is a must to improve the quality of education. Teachers are the main actors in students, so if teachers have high motivation, they will make teachers loyal, innovative and productive. This study aims to provide an understanding of teacher motivation in working from an Islamic perspective. A qualitative research approach is used in this study to understand the views of the respondents. Data collection techniques in research using interviews. Respondents in this study were 35 teachers spread across the island of Java. The results showed that the teacher's motivation in working with an Islamic perspective was Islamic spirituality, including faith, taqwa, and Ihsan, and gifts/rewards and punishments. This research reveals that the motivation of the Islamic perspective is different from the motivation from the western point of view.

Modernization of Islamic Education; A Study of Muhammad Abduh's Thoughts. This paper tries to present the great ideas of Sheikh Muhammad Abduh, (Muhammad bin Abduh bin Hasan Khairullah), who is widely known as a progressive thinker, movement activist, and also an Egyptian-born mujaddid, the founder of the reform movement and modernization of Islamic education, towards modern Egypt. This study is a literature study using a qualitative approach and content analysis techniques on Muhammad Abduh's thoughts. The results of this study indicate that there is a dialectic process between Muhammad Abduh's great ideas and the Egyptian social situation, both internally by Muslims with traditional Islamic views - conventional and external situations of the European nation and its modern civilization which is currently colonizing Egypt. The idea of reforming and modernizing Islamic education includes: the conventional teaching system is only religious sciences, equipped with modern general knowledge, accompanied by curriculum improvements that combine tanziliyyah sciences with Kauniyyah sciences, (Islam and modernity), eradicating dualism and dichotomy views of science. , improvement of learning systems and methods that emphasize understanding and reasoning, as well as women's education. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan menjadi prioritas utama di semua lembaga pendidikan. Demikian pula di lembaga pendidikan Islam yang sementara berproses menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki kualitas setara dengan lembaga pendidikan lain bahkan menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang berkualitas tinggi. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, maka upaya terus dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam. Salah satu upayanya adalah dengan menerapkan berbagai teori dan konsep manajemen mutu agar kualitas pendidikan dapat terjaga dan diakui sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang menjalankan proses dengan baik dan menghasilkan output yang baik. Ada beberapa konsep peningkatan mutu/kualitas yang dikemukakan para ahli seperti Edward Deming dan Joseph Juran yang berkaitan dengan perencanaan mutu, pengendalian dan peningkatan mutu. Kajian ini akan membahas tentang beberapa konsep mutu dan relevansinya pada lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan global.Kata Kunci: mutu, lembaga pendidikan, Edward Deming dan Joseph Juran

The work of the study is to identify if the model cooperative learning type thinks pair share can increase the result of students study in science at the senior high school 1 in Tompasol. The result of the study is a quantitative study with a type of experimental research. The subject in this study is the whole XI IPS 1 as an experiment class and XI IPS 2 as a control class. The results of the study conducted showed that class XI, which is taught using the cooperative learning type think pair share obtains an average of 93.35 and a standard deviation of 3.730, and the XI classes taught by the conventional learning model gained an average of 76.27 and standard deviation 2.475. Further from the results of the hypothetical test performed show that or 17.077 2.056 at 5% trust. Thus it may be concluded that the model cooperative learning type thinks pair share are better applied to the process of learning than the conventional learning model, as it has a positive and significant impact on student learning at senior high school 1 in Tompaso.
