Abstract

Background – Every prospective student is free to make their choice to choose the faculty and study program they are interested in, which of course is in accordance with their abilities academically and financially. This research was conducted based on the research gap found by the researcher. Baker (2018) suggests further research to analyze the expected job variables as a factor in choosing decisions. Objective - To analyze the direct and indirect effect between each variable Interest, motivation, and expected job on the decision to choose. Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were new students in the 2020 academic year at the Faculty of Economics at five universities in Bengkulu City. Samples were drawn using the Slovin formula as many as 356 respondents. Results and Discussion – The results of this study indicate that the higher the interest of individuals (students) it will encourage them to decide what they want, so it is said that interest is one of the factors that encourage someone to choose something. Likewise, student motivation in studying can be a determinant of their success in the future. The expected job is an important driving factor for students in choosing the faculty they will take in gaining knowledge. This is evidenced by the results of the current study and strengthened by the results of previous studies. Conclusion – There is a significant effect between each of the expected interest, motivation, and work variables on the decision to choose, with values ​​of 0.596, 0.452, 0.580, respectively. Then the work variable which is expected to be able to mediate between the interest and motivation variables on the decision to choose, with values ​​of 0.507 and 0.566, respectively. Research implications - The expected work variables in this study can provide information to each university that is the object of research that is not only related to student internal factors but there are other external factors that have an important contribution to the decision to choose prospective students in determining their choice to take college. Thus, universities and faculties can establish cooperation with job providers to accommodate quality graduates in the future, so that this can increase interest and motivation in determining college choices at universities in Bengkulu City. Research limitations - This research is limited to the Bengkulu City area with a total sample of 356 respondents and the number of variables studied is only two independent variables (interest and motivation), one mediating variable (expected job), and one dependent variable (decision). choose).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Transformational Leadership Terhadap Intrinsic Motivation Pada Karyawan BANK BRI Cabang Curup. Faktor yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah Transformational Leadership. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Karyawan di BANK BRI Cabang Curup yang berjumlah 78 orang. Penelitain ini dilakukan pada tanggal 19 februari sampai dengan 19 maret 2021. Dalam penenlitian ini penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, penyebaran angket atau kuisioner.Ada beberapa teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan uji instrument, analisis tanggapan responden, analisis regresi linier sederhana, koefisien determinan, dan juga uji hipotesis t. Dari hasil uji regresi linier sederhana didapat persamaan regresinya yaitu sebagai berikut : Y = 0.846 + 0.189 (X). Sementara hasil pengujian dengan uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Transformational Leadership (X) menunjukkan thitung > ttabel (40.294 > 1.99167) dan (sig <  = 0,000 < 0,050). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Transformational Leadership berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Intrinsic Motivation Pada Karyawan BANK BRI Cabang Curup.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence student decisions to choose the Faculty of Economics. This research is a quantitative study with a sample of 356 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was to use the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques using observations and questionnaires. The collected data was then processed using the SPSS 21 data processing tool and analyzed using the classical assumption test analysis technique, multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination (R2) and hypothesis testing. The results of this study can be seen from the multiple linear regression test, namely Y = 1.001 + 0.141X1 + 0.103X2 + 0.288X3 + 0.057X4 + e. From the results of the partial hypothesis test (T test) that each variable of interest, motivation, expected work, and learning environment has a significant positive effect on the student decision variable to choose the Faculty of Economics. While the simultaneous test results (F test) between the independent variables on the dependent variable have a significant effect.Keywords: Interests, Motivation, Expected Work, Learning Environment, and student decisions to choose the Faculty of Economics

Abstract

This study was to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence, competence and job stress on the performance of employees at Regional Public Hospital, Central Bengkulu. The aims of this study to determine the influence between emotional intelligence, competence and work stress on employee performance, both are partially and simultaneously. The object of this study was 149 employees of RSUD Central Bengkulu, with the convenience sampling method. Data collection methods are taken through questionnaires and observations. The results found the variables of emotional intelligence (X1), competence (X2), work stress (X3) partially, and simultaneously have a significant effect on employees’ performance variables (Y). This is seen from multiple linear regression equation where Y=1,690+0.390 (X1)+0.170 (X2)-0.248 (X3). While, the multiple linear regression analysis showed its influence on emotional intelligence variables, competence and work stress on employee performance (Y), which is shown from the adjusted R square value was 0.812. This means that the magnitude of influence of variable emotional intelligence, competence and work stress is only able to influence 81.2% on employee performance variable (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kecerdasan Intelektual, Kecerdasan Emosional, Dan Kecerdasan Spiritual Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Cabang Bengkulu. Objek penelitian ini adalah 60 orang karyawan pada PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Cabang Bengkulu. Dalam penenlitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data selanjutnya menggunakan uji instrumen, analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinasi, dan juga uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa uji regresi berganda persamaan regresi adalah: Y= 2.976 + 0.092 (X1) + 0.128 (X2 ) + 0.831 (X3). Hasil uji t variable Kecerdasan Intelektual (X1) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) yaitu sebesar 2.125 > 2.00324, variable Kecerdasan Emosional (X2) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) yaitu sebesar 5.230 > 2.00324, dan Kecerdasan Spiritual (X3) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) yaitu sebesar 13.464 > 2.00324. Semua hal diatas menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) pada PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Cabang Bengkulu.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of prices and promotion of purchasing decisions. The formulation of the problem is whether prices and promotions have a positive effect on purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of prices and promotion of product purchasing decisions at Eleven Cafe Bengkulu. The object of this research is Eleven Cafe Bengkulu consumers with an accidental sampling method, which the respondent explained in this study was 65 people. Data collection method using questionnaire.The results of this study can be concluded that seen from the test of multiple linear regression equation using the SPSS program, namely Y = 20.416 + - 312X1 + 185X2. The results of the analysis found that prices negatively affect purchasing decisions and promotion has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. The testing of the t test hypothesis shows that both variables have an influence on the purchase decision of Adjusted R squer's number of 0.122 indicating that 12.2 percent of purchase decisions can be explained by the two independent variables used in the regression equation, while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this study. Keywords: Price, Promotion, Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Study ini dilakukan berdasarkan adanya riset gap dan fenomena gap yang ada. Study ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis work family conflict dan turnover intention melalui mediasi komitmen organisasional karyawan wanita perbankan swasta syariah di Kota Bengkulu pada masa pandemic Covid-19. Study ini dilakukan pada lima bank swasta syariah di Kota Bengkulu, yaitu: Bank Mega Syariah, Bank Muamalat, Bank Danamon Syariah, Bank Sinarmas Syariah, Bank Pundi Syariah, dengan jumlah sampel 117 responden wanita. Data diolah dengan menggunakan alat analisis LISREL versi 8.70. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa work family conflict memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan nilai standardized 47%, work family conflict memiliki pengaruh negative signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional dengan nilai standardized 49%, komitmen organisasional memiliki pengaruh negative signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan nilai standardized 42%, dan komitmen organisasional mampu memediasi antara work family conflict terhadap turnover intention dengan nilai standardized 21% (positif).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of environmental performance, audit committee, profitability, Leverage, and company size to corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure measured by CSR index based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4. The population of this study are manufacturing company listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. Data collected by documentation method and literature study. Sampling using purposive sampling method, and obtained 18 companies in each period. Sources of data obtained from annual reports of companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. The analytical method for this study uses multiple regression analysis with SPSS 16. The result of this study showed that environmental performance and company size has positive effect to CSR disclosure. Audit committee and profitability has not effect to CSR disclosure, while Leverage has negative effect to CSR disclosure.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi di desa Pelangkian adalah kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat akan investasi bodong, sehingga masyarakat ini rentan menjadi sasaran pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab yang ingin meraup keuntungan pribadi dengan cara menipu masyarakat yang tidak paham akan investasi. Hal ini terbukti dari penuturan Kades Desa Pelangkian, bahwa masyarakat Desa ini melaporkan sempat hampir menjadi korban penipuan investasi yang menawarkan keuntungan yang menggiurkan tanpa ada resiko.Dalam rangka mendukung program pemerintah memberantas investasi bodong dan meningkatkan jumlah investasi pasar modal di Indonesia, team pengabdian masyarakat akan mengadakan sosialisasi, edukasi, dan literasi tentang investasi legal yang ada di Indonesia. Adapun sasaran untuk diadakannya kegiatan saat ini adalah masyarakat Kabupaten Kepahiang Khususnya Desa Pelangkian. Tidak hanya sebatas sosialisasi dan pemahaman materi, team juga akan memberikan pengayaan berupa praktik investasi legal yang sangat terjangkau di pasar modal dan sangat menguntungkan untuk masyarakat karena akan dapat menambah penghasilan mereka.

Abstract

Audit fee merupakan kompensasi yang didapatkan akuntan publik dari perusahaan atas jasa audit yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apkah koneksi politik dan gender mempengaruhi besarnya biaya audit yang diberikan perusahaan kepada akuntan publik. Data sekunder yang digunakan berbentuk laporan tahunan perusahaan yang go public pada periode 2015-2018. Sampling yang diguankan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah data sebanyak 407 perusahaan. Sedangkan variabel atau atribut penelitian diantaranya fee audit digunakan untuk variabel terikat, serta hubungan politik dan gender CEO dipergunakan sebagai variabel bebasnya. Untuk analisis data menggunakan pendekatan regresi linier berganda melalui penggunaan uji asumsi klasik. Hasilnya, hubungan politik dapat meningkatkan biaya audit dan gender CEO tidak signifikan terhadap biaya audit. Batasannya adalah pengungkapan biaya audit dalam laporan tahunan masih bersifat sukarela, yang berakibat pada masih banyaknya perusahaan yang tidak memenuhi kriteria sampel. Variabel yang digunakan dibatasi pada jenis kelamin direksi CEO tanpa melibatkan jenis kelamin dewan komisaris dan komite audit. Kata kunci: hubungan politik, keragaman gender, biaya audit
