Abstract

Religious literacy is essential because understanding religious doctrine is about the normative principle and how religion applies in a social context. Religious literacy can develop through the learning process. This study analyzes student religious literacy by learning Islamic Religious Education (IRE) based on the flipped classroom. The research method used is classroom action research through two cycles. The research subjects were students who took the general course of Islamic Religious Education. The results showed that applying flipped classrooms in Islamic Religious Education learning could increase student diversity in belief, practice dimensions, knowledge dimensions, and implementation dimensions. The implementation of Islamic learning based on flipped classroom can also improve student learning activities. Students pay attention to learning carefully, actively participate in discussions, actively ask questions, provide opinions, and perform assigned tasks. Besides that, the implementation of a flipped classroom can also improve student learning outcomes.Literasi keberagamaan penting dimiliki karena memahami ajaran agama bukan hanya sebatas pada doktrin normatifnya saja, melainkan juga pada bagaimana agama diterapkan dalam konteks sosial. Literasi keberagamaan dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan literasi keberagamaan mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis flipped classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah classroom action research dengan melalui dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah umum Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan flipped classroom dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat meningkatkan literasi keberagamaan mahasiswa pada dimensi keyakinan, dimensi praktik, dimensi pengetahuan, dan dimensi pengamalan. Penerapan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis flipped classroom juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran mahasiswa, mahasiswa memperhatikan pembelajaran secara seksama, aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi, aktif mengajukan pertanyaan dan memberikan pendapat, serta mengerjakan tugas-tugas yang telah diberikan. Di samping itu, penerapan flipped classroom juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of self-reflection and collaboration skills of students through the implementation of a team-based project model in learning for micro-teaching courses. The research was conducted at the State University of Jakarta, with the research subjects were 41 students. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, interviews, and self-reflection questionnaires. The results showed that 72.1% of students always evaluate their performance and try to do better in teaching practice based on self-reflection results. The aspect that needs to be improved is speaking skills in front of the class (public speaking). Meanwhile, student collaboration skills have shown to be good, as indicated by the synergy in identifying, researching, analyzing, and formulating answers and solutions to the problems found and stated in the project report.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan kemampuan ICT dan mengembangkan profesionalisme guru dalam pembelajaran daring melalui pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian berupa ceramah interaktif, diskusi, praktik, dan penugasan. Peserta yang terlibat adalah guru Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 11 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui tahapan proses pembuatan panduan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, pemantauan, dan pemberian tugas, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan berhasil mengembangkan kemampuan dan profesionalitas guru dalam penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Peserta telah dapat menyusun bahan ajar digital secara mandiri dan telah mengimplementasikannya kepada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran daring. Adapun sebesar 30,74% peserta menyatakan kegiatan pengabdian memberikan wawasan baru dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam membuat bahan ajar digital berbasis web, dan 27,98% peserta merasa puas dengan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe multicultural values ​​in the Lebaran tradition of the Betawi community and the process of revitalizing multicultural values. The this time the attitude of empathy, tolerance, social solidarity, equality and justice began to reduce along with the fulfillment of biological needs and egocentric attitudes. Betawi people have a local tradition to be used as a standard for life, religion and community. The local traditions that continues to this day is the lebaran tradition or "celebrating Eid al-Fitr". The term lebaran is an acculturation of Javanese culture, Chinese, and Islam. The multicultural values ​​in the lebaran tradition of the Betawi community include: First accepting differences, is to allow people to visit without considering ethnicity, and religion and social strata. Second generous attitude, is to give food and drink to every guest who comes. Third empathy attitude, is forgive each other for family and neighbors. Conservation of the lebaran tradition is the obligation of the Betawi community and the regional government of DKI Jakarta. Revitalizing multicultural values ​​in the Lebaran tradition of the Betawi people. through: religious ceremonies, and the implementation of religious holidays. The revitalization factor are two: the motive of cause and achieving the goal.

Abstract

Pendampingan penguatan nilai kesadaran lingkungan pada karang taruna merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran karang taruna dalam menjaga lingkungan. Karang taruna memiliki peran yang cukup vital karena karang taruna sebagai motor penggerak perubahan. Kesadaran terhadap nilai-nilai kesalehan lingkungan menjadi hal penting karena di samping sebagai perintah agama, juga sebagai salah satu penopang keberhasilan perwujudan lingkungan yang sehat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pendampingan yaitu Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui dialog, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan penugasan mengenai tindakan yang perlu dilakukan dalam mewujudkan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Peserta yang terlibat adalah anggota karang taruna di Kelurahan Bukit Duri Jakarta Selatan sejumlah 15 orang, terdiri dari 9 perempuan dan 6 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui tahap pengumpulan data, kategorisasi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap nilai kesadaran lingkungan. Peserta memahami dan mulai menerapkan pentingnya upaya dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan diantaranya melalui upaya promotif, preventif, dan kuratif. Adapun upaya promotif dilakukan dengan mempromosikan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan, upaya preventif berupa meminimalisir penggunaan sampah plastik, dan upaya kuratif melalui mulai mengenal bank sampah untuk dapat menyalurkan sampah-sampah plastik yang dapat didaur ulang.

Abstract

This study addresses challenges faced by PAI (Islamic Education) teachers in conducting and reporting action research, a vital aspect of teacher professionalism. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research outlines effective strategies for enhancing teacher professionalism by offering assistance in action research preparation. Strengthening literacy, commitment, and self-awareness through mentoring and training motivates PAI teachers to enhance their competence, particularly in conducting classroom action research and composing research reports. Additionally, the study employs psychological and physiological approaches in mentoring, empowering PAI teachers to optimize their schedules for conducting action research and writing articles in line with physical constraints and teaching responsibilities. These findings offer insights into elevating teacher professionalism and action research competence, serving as guidance for educational improvement initiatives. Highlight: Challenges in PAI Teacher Action Research: This study addresses the difficulties faced by PAI (Islamic Education) teachers in conducting and reporting action research, a crucial aspect of their professionalism. Effective Strategies for Enhancement: Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research presents strategies aimed at strengthening teacher professionalism through mentoring and training, focusing on literacy, commitment, and self-awareness. Abstract

This research aims to develop indicators of students' critical thinking and find the state of the art by using Vos Viewer. One way to develop critical thinking indicators is through research. The teacher's job besides teaching is to conduct research. Research is said to be good if it finds elements of new findings so that it has a contribution both to science and to life. One of the difficulties in research is finding novelty, nowadays with the Vos Viewer application it is easy to find the novelty of a research variable, such as the critical thinking variable. The research subject is students in Islamic educational institutions. The object or focus of the research is to develop indicators of students' critical thinking in learning Islamic religious education. In addition, the research aims to analyze the opportunities and development of research trends related to critical thinking in Islamic learning. This research is important as a way to help Islamic religious education teachers develop critical thinking indicators as an effort to familiarize students with reading literacy and numeracy in accordance with the demands of the independent curriculum. The method used is bibliometric by collecting article data from 2018-2022 through Google Scholar and Scopus sites with Publish or Perish software for 1,000 journals. The results of the study describe that critical thinking indicators can be developed through familiarizing students with analyzing, evaluating, and analyzing.

Abstract

Islamic Education (IE) in Higher Education is a compulsory course in Indonesia. However, it still dominantly assesses the cognitive aspect, while the learning competency of Islamic Education aims to form the religious character and social attitudes of students. Therefore, this study aims to develop indicators of student social care integrated with student organization activities. The indicator of social concern that has been validated and meets the content validity score will be used as a measuring tool for the attitude and skill components of students in Islamic Education learning. The process of developing indicators of social care integrated into student organization activities requires the ADDIE model development research method (Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, but in this study, there are only three stages: the first needs analysis, the second planning, and third development. The research subjects were students and lecturers of Islamic Education at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Data collection tools are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used the Aikens Index and inter-rater reliability to see the suitability of the content of the indicator with the theory used and to see the agreement of experts in assessing the developed social care indicators. The results of the research based on the needs analysis by surveying 25 students from student organization members in three universities through quota, purposive sampling, and interviews found that 80% of students were involved in BEM social activities, and 72% of students agreed to integrate social activities of student organizations in PAI learning. The results of the Aiken Index content validity test of six skill indicators and four social care attitude indicators were a minimum score of 0.83 and a highest score of 0.91. The reliability test result is 0.64. These results indicate that three experts have agreed upon the content of social care indicators, and then it is feasible to construct a validity test to find out the indicators developed that can measure students' social attitudes and skills using the theory used.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi peran karang taruna Kelurahan Bukit Duri Jakarta Selatan untuk mengembangkan karakter peduli lingkungan pada generasi muda. Karang taruna memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi agen perubahan (agent of change) dalam masyarakat, khususnya dalam bidang lingkungan dan pengelolaan sampah. Kesadaran akan konsep zero waste sangat penting bagi karang taruna karena dapat membawa dampak positif yang luas bagi lingkungan dan masyarakat. Metode   pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yaitu melalui dialog, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktek langsung dalam pengelolaan sampah. Peserta yang terlibat adalah anggota karang taruna di Kelurahan Bukit Duri Jakarta Selatan sejumlah 11 orang.  Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tahap pengumpulan data, kategorisasi data, display data, dan penarikan   kesimpulan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat memberikan pemahaman dan kesadaran dalam praktik zero waste pada generasi muda karang taruna serta tidak hanya menghasilkan perubahan positif dalam pengelolaan sampah, namun juga memberdayakan komunitas untuk terus mengembangkan solusi berkelanjutan bagi lingkungan mereka.
