Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, work discipline, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Volex. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population used is all employees who work as production operators in the ICA department at PT Volex in 2023 with a total of 112 employees with sampling based on saturated sampling, using a questionnaire distributed to PT Volex employees. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods which were tested involving data quality tests, classic assumption tests, influence tests and hypothesis tests, to determine the effect of workload, work discipline, and job satisfaction variables on employee performance. Findings in multiple linear regression analysis can show that workload has a positive relationship with a magnitude of 26.2% on employee performance. Work discipline has a positive relationship with a magnitude of 21.2% on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive relationship with a magnitude of 34.1% on employee performance. The findings of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) that the level of employee performance can be explained by workload, work discipline and job satisfaction of 72.5%. The research results in the hypothesis testing carried out can show that workload, work discipline and job satisfaction partially or simultaneously can provide a positive and significant relationship to employee performance.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar dapat mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari kinerja karyawan PT Synergy Oil Nusantara terhadap motivasi, etika kerja, dan  komunikasi. Personil perusahaan akan menjadi sampel serta populasi penelitian. Penelitian akan dilakukan di PT Synergy Oil Nusantara, sebagai subjek penelitian. Sampel penelitian memakai hingga 150 karyawan dari PT Synergy Oil nusantara yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Probability sampling digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa seluruh karyawan mempunyai giliran yang serupa untuk dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini. Responden pada penelitian ini akan diberikan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data. sesudah hasil survei terkumpul, hasil survei tadi akan diolah. pada penelitian ini, nilai f hitung sebanyak 127,097, yang lebih tinggi dari nilai f tabel 2,70.

Abstract

One of the important benchmarks in determining the success of economic development is economic growth. The role of the government in trying to achieve development success is to determine the direction of development policy and to achieve the development goals it is necessary to have good development planning to realize stable economic growth in order to improve the welfare of the community is by improving Small And Medium Enterprises and Labor. This research aims to find out the simultaneous and partial influence of Small and Medium Enterprises, and Labor on the economic growth of Batam city. The data source is secondary data using data panels consisting of three years of time series data and cross section data of nine sub-districts that produce 45 observations. The analytical technique used to solve the problem in this study is by multiple linear regression analysis models. The results of this study show that simultaneously Small and Medium Enterprises and labor have a significant effect on economic growth in Batam City. This indicates that the number of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and labor in batam city can be the determinant of the economic growth rate in batam city. This is because SMEs and Labor are activities that can produce goods or services. In part, Small and Medium Enterprises and labor have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Batam City, meaning that if the number of SMEs and labor is increased then economic growth will also increase.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. The effects of the pandemic caused the national economy to decline by minus 5.23%. In Batam City, the Covid 19 Pandemic caused many small, medium and large businesses to go out of business. The direct effect of the pandemic on the lower middle class is the financial turmoil of the family. There was a decrease in income and expenditure as well as a change in the clustering of expenditure items. Internet quota has become a mandatory expense for education. The initial objective of this study was to obtain facts, the current condition of society. The research object is the middle to lower class of society. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Collecting data in research using the method of observation and questionnaires. Observation through limited interviews, by observing and visiting and discussing directly with the community. People also fill out an online questionnaire via a google form link, to reduce physical contact. The sample size was determined by accidential sampling method. The results showed that 80% of respondents experienced a decrease in the number of stages during the COVID 19 pandemic. Meanwhile, respondents have a job from home (WFH), have courageous schooling, are in the trend of family spending on food, electricity bills, water bills, and education quota costs. The final objective of this research is expected to be additional material for the Batam City government in economic policies that can help the life and welfare of the community.

Abstract

Dalam dunia yang seperti sekarang ini, banyak sekali individu-individu yang sangat membutuhkan pekerjaan. Terkhususnya di Kota Batam, tergolong banyaknya pengangguran baik dari yang tidak memiliki pendidikan maupun yang terdidik. Berbicara mengenai lingkup mahasiswa, di Kota Batam masih banyaknya mahasiswa yang menjadi pengguran terdata sebanyak 9,60% presentase mahasiswa yang menganggur pada tahun 2019. Padahal yang semestinya tidak terjadi hal demikian jika para mahasiswa mampu membuka lapangan pekerjaan, bukan hanya mencari pekerjaan. Salah satu cara untuk dapat mengurangi pengangguran terutama yang ada di Kota Batam ialah dengan cara membuka suatu usaha dan menjadi seorang wirausahawan. Dimana para mahasiswa harus memiliki kreativitas yang baik, pendidikan kewirausahaan yang mencukupi untuk dapat memulai suatu usaha, serta ekspektasi pendapatan yang memang perlu diperhitungkan dengan sebaik-baiknya untuk dapat memperoleh keuntungan yang diharapakan. Oleh karena itu variabel dalam penelitian ini ialah Kreativitas (X1), Pendidikan Kewirausahaan (X2), Ekspektasi Pendapatan (X3), dan Minat Berwirausaha (Y). Dengan objek penelitian ialah mahasiswa di Kota Batam. Tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk mengetahui dan memahami pengaruh atau dampak yang terjadi terhadap kreativitas, pendidikan kewirausahaan dan ekspektasi pendapatan terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa di Kota Batam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling, yaitu teknik purposive sampling dengan data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 26.0 dan sampel sebanyak 345 orang dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel diambil berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Metode regresi linear berganda digunakan untuk melakukan analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativias, pendidikan kewirausahaan, dan ekspektasi pendapatan secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa.
