Abstract

[Bahasa]: Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan bagi guru-guru Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Huda Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang mengenai konsep dalam pembuatan soal dan analisis butir soal yang baik, (2) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Huda Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang dalam melakukan analisis butir soal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) metode ceramah, (2) metode penugasan, dan (3) metode Praktik. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan ini berdasarkan hasil responsi dari peserta adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Kegiatan workshop ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru-guru khususnya guru Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Huda Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang. Hal ini dikarenakan dapat menambah dan meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam penyusunan dan pembuatan soal yang baik dan benar. (2) Kegiatan workshop ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menganalisis soal tersebut dengan aplikasi iteman. Kata Kunci: wokhshop, iteman, analisis butir soal [English]: This community service program which held in Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Huda Sungai Ambawang aims to: (1) improve knowledge of teachers in the development and analysis of a good item; (2) improve the teacher ability in analysing items. The methods used in the program were: (1) lecture method, (2) method of assignment, and (3) Practice method. The program results are: (1) This workshop activity was very beneficial for teachers especially Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Huda teacher of Sungai Ambawang. Teacher's understanding in the preparation and preparation of good and right questions increases. (2) This workshop activity can improve the ability of teachers to analyze these questions with the Iteman application. Keywords: workhshop, iteman, item analysis

Abstract

Abstract:  This study aims to determine the problem-based learning-based digital pocket book to improve problem-solving skills that reach the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research method is research and development using 4-D models (Four-D Models) by Thiagarajan. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak totaling 32 students, experts, and teachers. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and posttest questions. Based on the research results, the results of the validation of digital pocket books based on problem based learning to improve problem solving skills have a percentage of 90.44% with very valid criteria. The level of practicality of problem-based learning-based digital pocket books to improve problem-solving skills is classified as having a very practical level with a percentage of 88%. In addition, for the results of the effectiveness level of problem-based learning-based digital pocket books to improve problem-solving skills, the posttest average result is 81% with effective criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning-based digital pocket book to improve problem-solving skills developed can be used because it meets the criteria of very valid validity, very practicality, and effective effectiveness.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui buku saku digital berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang mencapai tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (Four-D Models) oleh Thiagarajan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa, ahli, dan guru. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket, dan soal posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi buku saku digital berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah memiliki persentase 90,44 % dengan kriteria  sangat valid. Tingkat kepraktisan terhadap buku saku digital berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tergolong memiliki tingkat sangat praktis dengan persentasenya sebesar 88%. Selain itu untuk hasil tingkat keefektifan terhadap buku saku digital berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah memiliki hasil rata-rata posttest sebesar 81% dengan kriteria  efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku digital berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan karena memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yang sangat valid, kepraktisan yang sangat praktis, dan keefektian yang efektif.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini ingin menghasilkan media pembelajaran macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang mencapai kriteria valid, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model rancangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate. Tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya pada tahap pengembangan saja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Sukadana sebanyak 20 siswa, ahli dan guru. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket dan soal posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing memiliki kriteria sangat valid. Tingkat kepraktisan terhadap macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing memiliki kriteria sangat praktis, tingkat keefektifan terhadap macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing tergolong kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa macromedia flash bermuatan problem posing yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan karena memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yang sangat valid, kepraktisan yang sangat praktis, dan keefektifan yang efektif. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to produce Macromedia flash learning media containing problem posing to mathematical problem-solving abilities that reach valid criteria, practicality, and effectiveness. This research method is a research development with a 4-D design model by Thiagarajan: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. But this research is only at the development stage. The subjects in this study were 20th-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Sukadana, experts, and teachers. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and posttest questions. Based on the research results obtained by the results of validation Macromedia flash loaded posing problem has very valid criteria. The level of practicality with problem-posing Macromedia flash has very practical criteria, the level of effectiveness with problem-posing Macromedia flash is classified as very effective criteria. Thus it can be concluded that Macromedia flash with posing problem developed can be used.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate students’ learning difficulties in mathematical economics in 2015/2016 academic year. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, the subjects of which are 3 students taking mathematical economics with low, average and high ability category. They are selected based on the recommendation from a mathematical economics lecturer. Data are collected using documentation and direct communication techniques, with data collection tools in the form of documentation of questions and results of Midterm (UTS) and Final Examinations (UAS) in mathematical economics and of interview guides. After collecting the data, the researchers analyze the results of the Examinations and of interview to investigate the students’ learning results to identify their learning difficulties in mathematical economics. The result of the research shows that students with high ability category (M1) do not have learning difficulties in learning mathematical economics; students with average ability category (M2) lack understanding of the exponent if the cardinal numbers are in fraction forms; students with low ability category (M3) do not have understanding of the concept of profit and loss, especially the one related to income and expenses, of the concept of the exponent so that they are wrong when determining the final results and of the meaning of the questions, especially if there is.

Abstract

The Good instruments have good realibility and each items have good discrimination power. But the facts, most teachers in making tests just take from a book. Therefore, the author feel the need to analyze the items that are used as an instrument by teachers, so that the results of research can provide input to the instrument used. The purpose of this research is to discribe the instrument viewed from the reability, the items viewed from discrimination power, and test distractors. This research method used is descriptive method. Based on the results of the analysis are obtained that the instrument realibility isn’t good, the items have ugly discrimination power, and the distractors are not function. Abstract

The general objective of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the students' Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) in the material of system of two-variable linear equations in class X of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The specific objectives are (1) to find out the mathematical Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) before and after applied Problem Based Learning in the material of system of two variable linear equations in class X of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. (2) to determine the effect and influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) in the material of system of two-variable linear equations in class X of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The method used in this study is an experiment, with a Pre-Experimental Design research form. The design in this study is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, which uses only one sample group given the initial test and final test after being given treatment. Based on the results of data analysis conducted on the findings in the field, the results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on mathematical students' Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) in the two-variable linear equation system material in class X Pontianak State High School 9. Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the mathematical understanding ability of students taught using Quantum teaching learning models in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambas cartesian coordinate material. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The form of research used is quasi-experimental design with posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. Sampling using cluster random sampling techniques so that selected class VIIIC as experimental class 1 is using quantum teaching learning model assisted by geogebra software and class VIIIA as experimental class 2 is using quantum teaching learning model without assisted by geogebra software. The result showed that student learning outcomes after being given a quantum teaching learning model assisted by geogebra software were better than student learning outcomes after being given a quantum teaching learning model without assisted by geogebra software namely the average posttest value of experimental class 1 75,83 included in the good category while the average experimental class 2 posttest value 69,48 included in the sufficient category. Test the difference in average student learning outcomes after using the quantum teaching model assisted by geogebra software and quantum teaching without assisted geogebra software it ca be concluded that there is a sigificant increase in results between the average scores in the experimental class 1 posttest and te average value in the experimental class posttest 2.

Abstract

One of the requirements in applying for teacher promotion is the publication of a scientific article. However, based on the results of interviews, many teachers have difficulty compiling scientific papers. Therefore, the Community Stimulus Partnership Program (CSPP), can help teachers prepare scientific papers through In House Training (IHT). This community service program aims to: 1) increase the knowledge of teachers in the preparation of proposals, reports, and writing scientific articles, especially Classroom Action Research (CAR), 2) determine the responses of training participants. The method used in this activity is workshops, training, seminars, mentoring, proposals seminars, and research results seminars. Meanwhile, determining the achievement of the activity results is through tests about the publication of a scientific article and a questionnaire on training participants' responses. The activity results showed: 1) increased knowledge of teachers in preparing proposals, reports, and scientific writing articles, 2) the level of participant satisfaction was 88%, which means that participants were delighted with this activity.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a android-based mobile learning media with character. The research method is a research and development method with a 4D design which is limited to Define, Design, and Develop. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII of Public Junior High School 10 Sungai Kakap as many as 14 students. The instruments were validation sheets, questionnaires of teacher and student and posttest questions. Learning media is said to be valid, practical and effective if the percentage is above 60%. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the android-based mobile learning media is valid, practical and effective. The validation of it has a validity level of 90.53% with very valid criteria, while the practicality level of learning media is 90.16%. with very practical criteria, and the effectiveness of learning media is 85.71% with very effective criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) the process of reasoning analogy of students in geometry before being given scaffolding in terms of gender and (2) the process of reasoning analogy of students in geometry after being given scaffolding in terms of gender. The research method used in this research is a case study. This research was conducted on students who have taken basic geometry and analytic geometry courses, 4th semester students of the Mathematic Education Study Program, IKIP PGRI Pontianak. The subjects taken in this study amounted to two people (male and female) and had moderate ability. The data collection tools used were tests and interviews (to determine the analogy reasoning process of students). Before students are given scaffolding, students are first given an analogy reasoning test then followed by interviews and scaffolding. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, display and conclusion. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that (1) the analogy reasoning of male students before being given scaffolding almost entered the mapping meaning that the mapping stage  of students was still lacking while the analogy reasoning of female students was only at the inferring, (2) after being given scaffolding, both male and female students have gone through four stages of the analogy reasoning process from the encoding,  inferring, mapping stage applying Thus, the existence of scaffolding  has an influence on students' analogical reasoning.
