Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the mathematical understanding ability of students taught using Quantum teaching learning models in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambas cartesian coordinate material. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The form of research used is quasi-experimental design with posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. Sampling using cluster random sampling techniques so that selected class VIIIC as experimental class 1 is using quantum teaching learning model assisted by geogebra software and class VIIIA as experimental class 2 is using quantum teaching learning model without assisted by geogebra software. The result showed that student learning outcomes after being given a quantum teaching learning model assisted by geogebra software were better than student learning outcomes after being given a quantum teaching learning model without assisted by geogebra software namely the average posttest value of experimental class 1 75,83 included in the good category while the average experimental class 2 posttest value 69,48 included in the sufficient category. Test the difference in average student learning outcomes after using the quantum teaching model assisted by geogebra software and quantum teaching without assisted geogebra software it ca be concluded that there is a sigificant increase in results between the average scores in the experimental class 1 posttest and te average value in the experimental class posttest 2.

Abstract

Terciptanya iklim sekolah yang kondusif diantaranya iklim sekolah inklusif tidak terlepas dari sosok pimpinan yang baik di sekolah. Diperlukan adanya gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat mendorong terciptanya perubahan baik pada iklim sekolah yaitu dengan menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang transformasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah serta menguji apakah ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap iklim sekolah di SLTA penyelenggara pendidikan inklusi di Surabaya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif inferensial. Populasi diambil dari keseluruhan guru sebanyak 173 responden. Kemudian dilakukan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 64 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah masih dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai frekuensi sejumlah 35 dan tingkat iklim sekolah juga masih termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang dengan jumlah frekuensi sebesar 37. Selain itu, juga terdapat pengaruh simultan dan positif pada gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap iklim sekolah di SLTA penyelenggara pendidikan inklusi di Surabaya yaitu sebesar 68,8%. Abstract

This research aims to achieve the following objectives: (1) analyze the validity of the Aksaranesia.co mobile app as a medium for the School Literacy Movement at SMPN 4 Kota Yogyakarta; (2) assess the compatibility of the Aksaranesia.co mobile app as a medium for the School Literacy Movement at SMPN 4 Kota Yogyakarta; (3) evaluate the usability of the Aksaranesia.co mobile app as a medium for the School Literacy Movement at SMPN 4 Kota Yogyakarta. The research follows the Research and Development (R&D) approach. The chosen model is the waterfall, which consists of 5 stages: requirements and definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing, and operation and maintenance. The results are as follows: (1) Aksaranesia.co achieved a mean score of 3.30 in content validity testing and 3.66 in construct validity, indicating high validity; (2) Compatibility testing on Android versions 10.0, 11.0, 12.0, and 13.0, as well as using Google Developer (Godev) tools, demonstrated that Aksaranesia.co is 100% compatible; (3) Usability testing yielded a 96.68% rating, indicating that Aksaranesia.co is highly suitable. The application is expected to contribute to the development of literacy media, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terkait pengaruh variabel kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru terhadap Professional Learning Community (PLC) Guru SMA Swasta di Kota Padang. Pada penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 243 Guru yang tersebar pada 24 sekolah SMA Swasta di Kota Padang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan mengunakan Uji T, variabel kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah (X1) memperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 3.265 > 1.651 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh. Kemudian untuk variabel kinerja guru (X1) memperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 8.784 > 1.651 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap Professional Learning Community (Y). Sedangkan untuk uji F memperoleh nilai fhitung > ftabel yaitu 75.158 > 3.033 yang artinya secara simultan kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah (X1) dan kinerja guru (X2) memiliki pengaruh terhadap Professional Learning Community (Y) Guru SMA Swasta di Kota Padang. Selain itu, berdasarkan koefisien determinasi kontribusi kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah dan Kinerja Guru terhadap Professional Learning Community sebesar 38,5% dan masuk pada kategori sedang. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah dan komitmen kerja guru terhadap Professional Learning Community (PLC) guru SMA Swasta di Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuisioner kepada 24 sekolah swasta yang ada di Kota Padang dengan jumlah sempel sebanyak 243 guru berdasarkan perhitungan pada metode Proposional Cluster Sampling. Analisis dalam penelitian menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana (Uji T), uji analisis regresi berganda (Uji F) dan uji koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan mengunakan Uji T, variabel kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah (X1) memperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 16.70 > 1.651 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap Professional Learning Community (Y). Kemudian untuk variabel komitmen kerja guru (X2) terhadap Professional Learning Community (Y) memperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 15.51 > 1.651 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap Professional Learning Community (Y). Sedangkan untuk uji F diperoleh nilai fhitung > ftabel yaitu 22.392 > 3.033 yang artinya secara simultan kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah (X1) dan komitmen kerja guru (X2) memiliki pengaruh terhadap Professional Learning Community (Y) Guru SMA Swasta di Kota Padang. Selain itu, berdasarkan koefisien determinasi kontribusi kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah dan komitmen kerja guru terhadap Professional Learning Community memiliki keterpengaruhan yang lemah yakni sebesar 15,7%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of hydroxyapatite/SiO2/gelatin composites to fulfil the bone scaffold standards. XRF analysis showed that limestone has a high CaO content of 92.89%, allowing it be used for hydroxyapatite synthesis. The wet precipitation method was used to synthesize hydroxyapatite; meanwhile, the freeze-drying method was used to synthesize the hydroxyapatite/SiO2/gelatin scaffold. FTIR analysis confirmed the characteristic peaks, which indicated the presence of compounds of hydroxyapatite (OH- and PO43-), SiO2 (Si-OH and Si-O-Si), and gelatin (N-H, C-H, and C=O). XRD analysis showed 98.1% hydroxyapatite phase and 1.9% SiO2 phase and SEM analysis showed a scaffold pore size of 155-218?m, optimal for cell attachment. Furthermore, mechanical testing resulted in a compressive strength of 1.71 MPa and porosity testing resulted in a porosity of 75%. This characterization showed the potential use of hydroxyapatite/SiO2/gelatin composites as bone scaffolds. This research can enable further development of scaffold materials in the field of tissue engineering.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pakan yang mengandung larutan biji mangga harumanis (Mangifera indica L.) terhadap tingkat pertumbuhan bobot dan panjang tubuh, serta tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah P0 (kontrol/tanpa larutan biji mangga), P1 (larutan biji mangga dosis 1,6 ml), P2 (dosis 1,8 ml), dan P3 (dosis 2 ml). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Basah Perikanan Universitas Madako Tolitoli pada bulan April hingga Juni 2024. Hasil penelitian selama 55 hari menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan dengan larutan biji mangga dosis 2 ml (P3) memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot dan panjang tubuh, serta kelangsungan hidup ikan nila. Pengaruh ini diduga disebabkan oleh kandungan senyawa alkaloid, tanin, dan saponin dalam biji mangga. Alkaloid berperan sebagai antibakteri, tanin berfungsi melapisi lapisan mukosa organ sehingga terlindung dari infeksi bakteri, sedangkan saponin dapat meningkatkan permeabilitas dinding usus, memperbaiki penyerapan nutrisi, dan menghambat aktivitas enzim urease.

Abstract

The challenge of online learning in higher education is that there is often a lack of focus on students taking part in lectures, which causes a loss of learning. This study aims to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of the co-construction online learning model in early childhood education management courses. The research method uses a research and development approach with the ADDIE model. Data collection was carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and observations on 88 students taking early childhood education management courses. Product feasibility testing was carried out from questionnaire data analysis on 10 statement items using a four-rating scale, while observations and interviews were used to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the co-construction online learning model. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive and quantitative techniques to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of implementing the co-construction online learning model. The results of the study in the electronic feasibility test for teaching materials achieved a score of 71.4%, which means it is feasible and does not need revision. While the effectiveness test was carried out twice with different timeframes, in the first data collection there were 73% of active students, then it increased in the second data collection with 88% of active students. This increase is to Skinner's theory of operant conditioning learning, where individual behavior is influenced by the repetition of actions received.

Abstract

The vital roles of school principals and the need for a professional selection and preparation process for school principals have encouraged the necessity of studying the process of preparing school principals in Indonesia. In developed countries, the main candidates are judged not only on their traditional management skills but also on their professional leadership skills. Principals are responsible for improving the quality of the schools they lead, so in developed countries, that becomes the main focus of assessment. In Indonesia, the policy for the preparation and selection process of school principals must be reviewed in a goal-oriented manner for the sake of improving education quality.  This research aimed to providing recommendations for improving the selection process of principals in Indonesia through a comparative analysis. Method in this research using literature review. This literature review collected data or sources related to a particular topic derived from various sources, such as journals, books, the internet, and other libraries. The results of the discussion indicated that there were similarities and differences in the selection processes for principals in Indonesia and the comparative countries in this study. Since the rules for selecting school principals in Indonesia often change, school principal candidates must always adapt to new regulations.
