Abstract

Pulverizer is one of the most important equipment in PLITU PAITON Unit 8, the pulverizer has supporting equipment, one of which is the pyrites hopper system. The functions pyrites hopper is to accommodate coal reject from pulverizer which will be directed towards SSCC using a jet pump. The occurrence of backflow causes damage to the pulverizer on the floor plate. Thermal stress occurs because the backflow of the BA-300 piping flow that enters the pulverizer floor plate temperature drops. This research discusses the backflow causes that occur in the BA-300 pipeline and alternative solutions. This research phase starts from the identification of backflow problems, data collection and literature study regarding backflow on the swing check valve, as well as CFD (Comptational Fluid Dynamics), modeling of existing BA-300 piping system, search and evaluation of alternative solutions. From the simulation results, the coal particles are sandwiched between the disc and casing check valve because the coal particles settle at the bottom of the check valve, which is caused by the amount of flow rate of coal 2.6 kg / s. Of the 6 variations made, the reduction in flow rate with the amount of 1.7 kg / s was not found again pinched coal even though there was still a bit of coal sequestration.Keyword : Backflow, CFD, Swing check valve model.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has facilitated access to information but also increased the spread of hoaxes, which can harm individuals and society at large. In this context, media literacy is an essential competency that people must possess to navigate the rapid and often inaccurate flow of information. Media literacy refers to the ability to access, comprehend, evaluate, and produce information critically and responsibly. This article highlights the importance of media literacy as a tool to curb the spread of hoaxes and foster a critically thinking society. It also discusses various strategies to enhance media literacy, including education, training, and the use of information verification technologies. By strengthening media literacy, society is expected to engage more actively and responsibly in the digital sphere.

Abstract

The research problem is that students have low physical fitness. They appear lethargic, unmotivated, and struggle to focus on memorizing lessons. Additionally, many students are unable to complete several physical tests in physical education classes. Furthermore, the average student scores do not meet the learning objective criteria. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The population consists of 787 students from grades VII, VIII, and IX of SMP Negeri 1 Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency. The sample was selected using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 39 students. Data collection was conducted through physical fitness tests and students' average report card scores. The study found that, based on correlation analysis, the obtained r-value (rhitung) was 0.97, while the critical r-value (rtabel) at a significance level of α = 0.05 was 0.316. This indicates a significant relationship between physical fitness and academic achievement. In other words, the better a student's physical fitness, the better their academic performance, as confirmed by this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of work climate on teacher morale at MAN 1 Medan. Work climate is an important factor in creating a work atmosphere that supports the performance and motivation of educators. Teachers' morale, as an indicator of the success of the education process, is influenced by various aspects, including interpersonal relationships, leadership of the madrasah head, and work environment conditions. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 teachers at MAN 1 Medan. Work climate variables were measured through dimensions such as leadership, openness of communication, and peer support. Meanwhile, morale was measured through indicators of productivity, motivation, and commitment to duty. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression technique to determine the relationship and influence between the two variables. The results showed that work climate has a significant influence on teachers' morale at MAN 1 Medan. This finding indicates that a positive work climate, characterised by open communication, adequate support, and inspirational leadership, can significantly improve teachers' morale. Conversely, a less conducive work climate negatively impacts teachers' motivation and performance. This study concludes that effective work climate management is an important strategy in improving teachers' morale. The madrasah is advised to pay attention to the aspects that make up the work climate, such as rewarding performance, creating a harmonious working atmosphere, and ensuring good communication between the madrasah head and teachers. Thus, the quality of education at MAN 1 Medan can continue to be improved through strengthening the morale of the teaching staff.

Abstract

Joyfull learning means fun learning. The joyfull larning method is a learning method that is preferred by students which is comfortable, safe dan exciting so that learning runs effectively and efficiently. The problem with the researcher’s observations resulted in the conlusion that there was a lack of student activity in expressing their opinions in class, student were still lazy in participating in learning, some student preferred listening rather than reading due to students; lack of interest in reading in class. In this study, the aim was to find out the effect of the joyfull learning method on student activity in PAI learning at UPTD SDN 02 Mungka for class III students using the material Thanking Allah SWT. this research uses an experimental research methodology with a pre-experimental design type one-group pretest-posttest research design. This research carried out tests before and after being given treatment in the form of questinnaires to third grade students. The big influence of applying method with results of the t test calculation in the form of a paired sample t-test shows that the significant value is 0.030, which means less than 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant difference in student activity before and after using the joyfull learning method.

Abstract

Efforts by Islamic Religious Education Teachers to Increase Learning Concentration for Class IV Students at SD Negeri 15 Ampang Gadang; This research discusses the strategies of Islamic religious teachers in increasing the level of student learning concentration in class IV of SD Negeri 15 Ampang Gadang. This research aims to describe the efforts made by Islamic teachers to increase the learning concentration of class IV students. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that the efforts of Islamic religious teachers include cleaning and preparing students before entering class, getting used to praying and reading short surahs before starting learning, using interesting learning media to foster interest in learning, implementing interactive and fun teaching methods, and creating a learning environment. which is conducive.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of obstacles in learning tahfidz, namely children's lack of interest in learning tahfidz, difficulty in memorizing and not fluently and this is influenced by factors of attention and motivation from parents which influence students' tahfidz learning outcomes.This research aims to see and test how big the relationship is between attention and motivation from parents and the tahfidz learning outcomes of MTsN 6 West Pasaman students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation type, the selection of research subjects is carried out using random sumpling techniques. The data collection method was carried out using questionnaires and documentation of graders. Data analysis was carried out through the data processing stage using a tabulation table Liker scale, validation, Cronbach's Alpha reliability, normality test, linear regression test, multiple regression test, F test, T test and hypothesis test. The results of the research show that (1) The relationship between parental attention and the tahfidz learning outcomes of MTsN 6 West Pasaman students shows a correlation coefficient of 0.686 or 68,6% seen from the interpretation table in the range of 0.60 -0.78, which means that the relationship between variables X1 and Y has a high correlation.(2) Motivation from parents and its relationship with the tahfidz learning outcomes of MTsN 6 West Pasaman students shows that motivation from parents is 0.626 or 62,6% according to the value correlation interpretation value based on the range 0.60-0.78, namely variables X2 and Y have a strong correlation. (3) The relationship between attention and motivation from parents and the tahfidz learning outcomes of MTsN 6 West Pasaman students is 0.704 or 70,4%, which has a strong level of relationship, and seen from the change table, it is 0.00, less than 0.05, which infers attention and motivation from parents. together or simultaneously related to variable Y or students' tahfiz learning outcomes. The results of the determination test carried out showed attention and motivation from parents with students' tahfidz learning outcomes at MTsN 6 West Pasaman amounting to 49.5% while 50.5% was determined by other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and analyze the strengthening of Minang cultural values "Sumbang Duo Baleh" through the Annisa Forum at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach with the main informants namely the Annisa Forum supervisor and supporting informants such as curriculum representatives and Annisa Forum students. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and data withdrawal, as well as using triangulation to ensure the validity of the data. The research results show that the Annisa Forum has succeeded in strengthening Minang cultural values, especially in the aspects of Sumbang Kato, Sumbang Bagaua, and Sumbang Kurenah. Supporting factors in its implementation include support from the government, community, parents, school environment and peers, while the inhibiting factor is the lack of motivation from the students themselves.

Abstract

The author's background in conducting this research is the problem of polite character education. The aims of this study were: 1) To find out the Implementation of Polite Character Education for Grade VIII Students to Teachers at MTsS Irsyadul Wathan Nagari Baruah Gunuang 2) To find out the Implementation of Polite Character Education for Grade VIII Students to Friends at MTsS Irsyadul Wathan Nagari Baruah Gunuang. This research is an empirical research using a source of knowledge obtained from observation and also findings in the field, using a qualitative approach. The author's data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The key informants in this study were students and supporting informants, namely principals and teachers at MTsS Irsyadul Wathan. As for data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and temporary conclusions in this study using data triagulation. Based on the results of the study it can be found that, the implementation of character education of class VIII students' courtesy towards the teacher 1. Students' polite attitude in respecting the teacher, 2. Students sit politely and speak respectfully, 3. Students listen to the teacher when talking and do not interrupt the teacher's conversation. 3. Shiva does not offend the teacher. While the implementation of politeness character education for class VIII students to friends is 1. Students say hello every time they meet friends, 2. Avoid hostility with friends, 3. Insult and belittle friends, 4. Forgive each other if they forget or accidentally make mistakes, 5 Advise friends if there are friends who are stingy and arrogant.
