Abstract

Abstract  This research was a kind of experimental research with Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design design. This study aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type of three-stage interview on biology learning outcomes on the subject of bacteria. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Batam Class X. The samples in this study were X-1 class as control class and X-2 class as experiment class. The test was used  “t-test”. From the results of the study found that the classes taught by cooperative learning model type of three-stage interview to obtain learning outcomes had a significant influence with the average value of learning outcomes is 74.0690 while students who followed the learning process using conventional learning method had a value of learning outcomes Average 65,5172 on bacterial material in class X MAN Batam.  Keywords: Cooperative Learning¸ Three Step Interview¸ Bacteria subject . AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe wawancara tiga tahap terhadap hasil belajar biologi pada pokok bahasan bakteri. Penelitin ini dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Batam Kelas X. Yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas  X-1sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X-2sebagai kelas eksperimen. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji t-test. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa kelas yang diajarkan dengan  model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe wawancara tiga tahap memperoleh hasil belajar memiliki pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar yaitu 74,0690 sedangkan siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional memiliki nilai hasil belajar rata-rata 65,5172 pada materi bakteri di kelas X MAN Batam. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran kooperatif, wawancara tiga tahap, pokok bahasan bakteri

Abstract

Comic media development is essential for junior high school students. Because in learning the echinoderm material, students' motivation is shallow. This research aims to 1) develop echinoderms comics, 2) find out how to develop comic learning media, 3) find out whether comic learning media was suitable for scientific learning. This research and development used the Hannafin and Peck model with three stages they were 1) needs analysis, 2) design stage and 3) development and implementation. The methods of collecting data were used observation and questionnaires. Comic media validation consisted of material experts, media experts, and educators. The subjects in this research were students of class VII Junior High School Islam Integral Luqman Al-Hakim 02 Batam. The quality of comic media is based on material expert validation, a suitable category (85.14%). The result of media expert validation was an excellent category (92.00%). Students who responded at the small group test stage were an excellent category (93.61%). Finally, students answered a suitable category at the big group test (88.25%). Echinoderm comics have been ideal for science learning based on the explanation above.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman jenis dan pola distribusi gastropoda di ekosistem mangrove Pulau Ngenang. Menggunakan  metode survei dengan  pengumpulan data mmemakai transek pada dua staiun yang berbeda. Hasil dari penelitian ditemukan 6 famili dan 9 spesies. 6 famili, yaitu, Potamididae, Ceritidae, Melongenidae, Neritidae, Ellobidae dan Muricidae. Jenis yang ditemukan yaitu: Telescopium telescopium, Telescopium mauritsi,Cerithidea obtusa, Terebralia palustris, Cerithium coralium, Pugilina cochlidium, Nerita balteata, Mysotella myositis, Chicoreus capucinus. Diperoleh indeks  keanekaragaman jenis (H)’= 1,00 pada stasiun 1 dan 1,37 di stasiun 2,  kategori sedang, hal ini menunjukkan tingkat keanekaragaman jenis sedang dan jenis–jenis tersebar secara mengelompok yang ditunjukan oleh nilai indeks Morisita 1,045 pada stasiun 1 dan 1,072 stasiun 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi akumulasi kandungan logam Chromium  (Cr) di perakaran tanaman bakau Rhizophora stylosa yang tumbuh di sekitar perairan TPA Telaga Punggur dan Teluk Lengung Batam. Pengambilan sampel akar tanaman mulai dilakukan Februari – Mei 2013. diambil dari 4 (empat) titik plot untuk setiap pengamatan stasion. Hasil analisis laboratorium dari nilai akumulasi logam Chromium yang diperoleh bervariasi untuk setiap plot di stasiun pengamatan. Di stasiun TPA Telaga Punggur, petak 1 (946,95 mg / kg), petak 2 (22,99 mg / kg), petak 3 (32,67 mg / kg), dan plot 4 (23,37 mg / kg) . Sementara di Stasiun Teluk Lengung, petak 1 (87,52 mg / kg), petak 2 (27,19 mg / kg), petak 3 (28,43 mg / kg), dan plot 4 (22,85 mg / kg). Analisis uji menggunakan Mann-Whitney  menunjukkan bahwa P value (0,8852) α (0,05) atau dengan uji rerata yakni 0,06 mg/kg menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan akumulasi kandungan Chromium pada lokasi yang dekat outlet TPA Telaga Punggur dengan tanaman bakau yang berada di Teluk Lengung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' responses to local fermented biotechnology Worksheets. This research was a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection used a questionnaire with Likert scale. Data trials were carried out with 2 scales, they are small scale of 8 respondents and large scale of 28 respondents. Based on the assessment of the results of the questionnaire that given to small-scale respondents, reached 89% in the very good category, while the large-scale respondents amounted to 87.81% in the very good category.

Abstract

Background: Vibriosis is currently still a major problem in marine aquaculture and is highly dependent on availability of antibacterial agents in its handling. Investigation of antibacterial potential of the coastal plants of Bidara Laut (Ximenia americana) has been carried out. Methods: Parts of the X. americana plant taken are Old Fruit, Young Fruit, Old Leaf, and Young Leaf. A total of ± 200 grams of each part of X. americana plant was taken to be extracted using maceration method. The antibacterial activity test was performed using the Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method on Muller Hinton Agar (MHA) media. Observations were made in time units, namely every 6 hours of incubation for 24 hours. Results: The tested extract of plant parts of X. americana showed an inhibition zone against the growth of V. alginolyticus and V. parahaemolyticus bacteria in each replication in all-time units of observation. Of the four types of extracts tested, old leaves showed strong category resistance to V. alginolyticus with the highest clear zone diameter of 16 mm (average 14.67 mm) at 6 hours incubation. Young leaves gave the highest of 18 mm (average 16.33 mm) against V. parahaemolyticus at 6 hours incubation. Conclusions: X. americana plants have potential for antibacterial against Vibriosis disease in aquaculture. The ability of power to be seen tended to decrease for all tests until the end of observation, but until the end of observation, the ability of extract inhibition of all parts of the plant was still in the moderate to strong category.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the population density of Sea Urchin (Diadema setosum) and it’s distribution pattern in the waters of Abang Island, Galang District, Batam City - Indonesia. Carried out in June 2023. Observations at 3 stations, using survey methods. Sampling was carried out using 3 line transects 20 meters long at each station, placing the transects from the shoreline towards the sea and placing observation plots 1m x 1m on the left and right of the transects. Measurement of water quality parameters; pH, salinity, depth, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and temperature. The highest density was 2.28 ind/m2 found at station I with a number of 228 individuals and the lowest was 0.81 ind/m2 found at station II with a number of 81 individuals. The distribution pattern of sea urchins (Diadema setosum) was in clustered were found at all stations.

Abstract

Keberadaan hutan mangrove di Kota Batam saat ini terus mengalami degradasi akibat lajunya pembangunan. Salah satu wilayah Pesisir di Kota Batam yang mengalami degradasi mangrove adalah Pulau Ngenang Kelurahan Ngenang Kecamatan Nongsa Kota Batam. Eksplotasi sumberdaya hutan mangrove yang tidak terkendali akan menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas ekosistem. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya konservasi guna mempertahankan keberadaannya. Salah satu upaya konservasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah sistem mina hutan (silvofishery) pemeliharaan kepiting bakau (Scylla spp). Usaha silvofishery ini potensial untuk dikembangkan dan memiliki peluang pasar terbuka luas dan prospektif, baik domestik maupun mancanegara. Tujuan dari program pendampingan ini memberikan ilmu pengetahuan tekhnologi dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat mitra, memberikan pemahaman pemanfaatkan sumberdaya hutan mangrove secara optimal dan lestari, meningkatkan alternatif mata pencaharian (alternative livelyhood) dan peluang kerja bagi masyarakat pesisir. Metode kegiatan meliputi: 1) Sosialisasi dan demonstrasi, yang terdiri dari kegiatan : penyiapan tambak budidaya, Penyiapan kandang ( box kepiting), pengelolaan usaha dengan menerapkan manajemen usaha yang baik, penyediaan bibit, dan pemeliharaan. 2). Pemantauan dan evaluasi dan 3). Pemanenan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perubahan sikap dan pengetahuan kelompok nelayan dari yang kurang mengetahui menjadi cukup banyak mengetahui usaha budidaya, melalui sistem silvofishery dapat menjaga dan mempertahankan lelestarian hutan mangrove, dan memberikan peluang usaha bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Potensi SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek sebagai sekolah penggerak belum dikembangkan secara maksimal. Tujuan kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah 1). Peningkatan potensi sekolah pengerak pada intervensi digital melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan listrik dengan PLTS, 2). Penguatan implementasi P5 kepada guru merujuk pada potensi sekolah berbasis kepulauan, 3). Penguatan pemahaman siswa pada P5 dengan pemanfaatan potensi sekolah pada wilayah kepulauan. Kegiatan Pemberdayaan masyarakat pada SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek dilaksanakan dengan 1). Pemasangan dan perakitan PLTS untuk kebutuhan operasional sekolah, 2). In house training kepada guru dan tenaga kependidikan implementasi P5 dengan identifikasi wilayah kepulauan, 3). Work shop untuk siswa pengelolaan POC untuk mendukung kegiatan P5 berbasis wilayah kepulauan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat 1). SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek mendapat suplai listrik secara efektif dan efisien dari PLTS untuk menunjang proses belajar mengajar. 2) inhouse training P5 untuk guru dan work shop POC untuk mendukung kegiatan P5 disekolah dinyatakan efektif merujuk pada hasil pos tes. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat untuk SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek, Potensi sekolah penggerak secara efektif meningkat
