Abstract

Penanganan permasalahan sampah bukan hanya tanggungjawab pemerintah saja, tetapi merupakan tanggung jawab setip orang. Sampah rumah tangga bisa diminamilisir dengan menggunakan 3R (Reuse, Recyle, Reduce). Salah satu sampah rumah tanga adalah pakaian dan kain bekas yang tidak layak pakai. Dengan menggunakan metode recycle, kain bekas dan pakaian yang tidak layak pakai tersebut bisa dijadikan menjadi  barang yang bisa dimanfaatkan seperti media tanam. Hal tersebut telah dilakukan dilaksanakan Perumahan Sawang Permai RW XI, Kelurahan Buliang, Kecamatan Batu Aji, Kota Batam. Melalui pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada tangal 26 sampaidengan 27 agustus 2017, maka sampah masyrakat telah bisa didaur ulang menjadi barang yakni media tanam untuk tanaman hias maupun sayur mayur yang sangat cocok untuk daerah yang padat penduduk. Dari hasil pelatihan dapat terihat bahwa ada perubahan yang signifikan di lingkungan masyarakat tentang kesadaran dalam bercocok tanam dengan mengunakan media tanam pot, hal tersebut terlihat dari banyaknya jumlah media tanam berbahan kain bekas dan kain bekas yang tidak layak pakai baik dipekarangan rumah warga maupun di tempat yang strategis di dalam perumahan tersebut.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pembelajaran yang menarik dan memotivasi bagi peserta didik di kursus karang taruna Griya Batu Aji Asri, RW 17, Sungai langkai, Sagulung, Kota Batam. Materi dalam kegiatan ini berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan pengucapan dan  Speaking Bahasa Inggris peserta didik di kursus tersebut. Dalam pembelajaran tersebut, setiap peserta diminta untuk mengucapakan kembali apa yang diucapkan oleh tutor yang biasa disebut dengan Imitation Theory, dalam pengaplikasian teori imitasi ini, tim memilih metode bermain sambil belajar serta menyisipkan cerita lucu disetiap pembelajarannya. Adapun sasaran kegiatan ini adalah semua peserta didik kursus karang taruna Griya Batu Aji Asri pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar yang berjumlah 70 orang. Dari hasil pengamatan dan observasi yang dilakukan tim selama proses kegiatan berlangsung bahwa terlihat adanya peningkatan kepercayaan diri peserta serta keberanian dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris, hal ini terlihat pada saat proses belajar mengajar, para peserta didik sangat antusias dan bersemangat dalam mempraktekkan pengucapan bahasa Inggris, sehingga terlihat ada peningkatan kemampuan pengucapan para peserta didik.

Abstract

Find out the form of  “move” in students classssroom interaction of UNRIKA during teaching practice program was the aim of this study. Conversation texts taken froms tudents’ classssroom interaction of UNRIKA during teaching practice program were  the data of this research. To analize the data, in this study , descriptive qualitative method was used. There were five classroom interactions selected as the data source. The data were taken by recording then transcripted. Rewriting, Identifing utterences, elaborating and then analized were the process of data analysi. The findings of this study showed that were 261 clauses analysis. There were two types of move” in students classssroom interaction found, namely congruent and metaphorical “move” coding. Congruent and metaphorical “move” coding was 76.63% and metaphorical “move” coding was 27.37%. Congruent “move” coding was built in “knower” and “actor” analysis, but “knower” analysis was more dominant. It means the conversation texts dominnated by the statement and question, in another word, the content of the interaction refered to the lecturing and discussion situation.  Keywords: “Move”,” Knower”, “Actor” Congruent and Metaphor Coding.

Abstract

This study investigated, formulated and reasoned exchange structure used on Indonesian EFL university students’ classroom interaction. Data transcriptions were taken from seven EFL classroom interaction videos between addressers and addressees, and field notes were taken to support primary data. Result shows that number of mood and residue reached 94.1 %and the rest was in elliptical moods . mood and residue domination was influenced by subject discussion and the formality of the situation matters. It was found that “move” of exchange structure was in small number (three moves), so did elliptical clause. Since natural conversation was dominated by elliptical moods , long “move” of exchange structure and elliptical clauses, thus, these could not be categorized as natural interaction. In line, Patterns of exchange structure coding contribute significantly toward EFL students’ comprehension during classroom interaction.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to  to investigate, formulate and reason speech functions and its realization coding used on EFL classroom interaction discourse at Universitas Riau Kepulauan.by using A descriptive research design by taking nine subject materials as the source of the data. They are They are; Curriculum and Material Development, Cross Culture Understanding,  Statistik Pendidikan,  Morphology,  TEFL,  Language Testing, Syntax, English Teaching Media and Prose subject materials. The result shows that the most dominant coding was congruent coding, the reason of chosing dominant coding was influenced by two facor, they were; subject material and the formality of the situation. By using he congruent coding, the students could understand the message of the subject materials rather than metaphor coding, because metaphore coding refers to the daily interaction with complext contextual relation.

Abstract

The long flow of the tobacco supply chain means that farmers cannot directly sell their tobacco products to factories directly, and in the supply chain there are naughty elements who often harm farmers. This research aims to obtain complete, comprehensive, meaningful data about the existence of P4TM, then to determine the position and maximize the income of tobacco farmers in Madura. This type of research is qualitative research and uses a phenomenological approach through primary and secondary data sources. With research results; The formation of the P4TM association was due to four problems that caused farmers' anxiety about the future of Madura tobacco. BASSRA (Madurese Ulama Friendship Agency) asks tobacco trade actors in Madura, especially local cigarette factories, to form a farmers' association, P4TM just to act as a pressure group for resolving problems in the tobacco trade system. P4TM held hearings on government officials, stackhoders. Then educate farmers, such as pilot projects, how to buy by paying for samples, and planting seeds and harvesting well. The income of farming communities has increased since the formation of P4TM.

Abstract

The economic independence of Islamic boarding schools has become a necessity, in fact there is a lot of foreign investment that has entered and controlled the Indonesian market, while the community collectivity has become more of a consumer, this is very worrying, such as the presence of Alfa Mart and Indomart, large capital owners in rural corners. evidence of the increasing powerlessness of local collective economic power. The aim of this research is to find out how the governance carried out at the Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Pamekasan Islamic boarding school is based on management skills, and also the efforts made to increase the economic value of the Islamic boarding school. This research uses a qualitative approach, and attempts to find and describe narratively the activities carried out. The results of this research: Broadly speaking, there are two types of eset management at the Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Islamic Boarding School; The first is that the assets are managed within the Islamic boarding school, and the second is that the assets are managed outside the Islamic boarding school where the assets belong to the alumni. There are also three business terms: first, the wealth and assets managed by the Islamic boarding school are assets owned by the Islamic boarding school family which are fully handed over to the general treasurer to manage. the second is a business or business unit managed by an Islamic boarding school whose capital comes from the Islamic boarding school. Third, the form of business managed by Islamic boarding school alumni outside the boarding school.

Abstract

Potensi SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek sebagai sekolah penggerak belum dikembangkan secara maksimal. Tujuan kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah 1). Peningkatan potensi sekolah pengerak pada intervensi digital melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan listrik dengan PLTS, 2). Penguatan implementasi P5 kepada guru merujuk pada potensi sekolah berbasis kepulauan, 3). Penguatan pemahaman siswa pada P5 dengan pemanfaatan potensi sekolah pada wilayah kepulauan. Kegiatan Pemberdayaan masyarakat pada SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek dilaksanakan dengan 1). Pemasangan dan perakitan PLTS untuk kebutuhan operasional sekolah, 2). In house training kepada guru dan tenaga kependidikan implementasi P5 dengan identifikasi wilayah kepulauan, 3). Work shop untuk siswa pengelolaan POC untuk mendukung kegiatan P5 berbasis wilayah kepulauan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat 1). SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek mendapat suplai listrik secara efektif dan efisien dari PLTS untuk menunjang proses belajar mengajar. 2) inhouse training P5 untuk guru dan work shop POC untuk mendukung kegiatan P5 disekolah dinyatakan efektif merujuk pada hasil pos tes. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat untuk SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Posek, Potensi sekolah penggerak secara efektif meningkat

In the rapidly evolving era of digitalization in 2024, the batik business Al-Barokah has successfully increased its revenue through innovative digital marketing strategies. Through qualitative research with a case study approach, the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp has proven effective in disseminating information, creating positive perceptions, and expanding the market reach for batik products. Despite facing intense competition, Al-Barokah batik continues to innovate with unique product quality, utilizing website design features and visual videos to promote its products. With the right digital marketing approach, Al-Barokah has significantly increased its revenue in 2024, emphasizing the strategic role of digital marketing in enhancing competitiveness and sustainability in the current digital era.

Abstract

Vocabulary acquisition is a critical aspect of language learning, yet traditional teaching methods often fail to engage students. Game-based learning (GBL), particularly using platforms like Kahoot, has emerged as a promising approach to address these challenges by fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of GBL, specifically using Kahoot games, in improving vocabulary acquisition and enhancing student engagement among 7th-grade students. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative analysis of pre-test and post-test scores with qualitative insights gathered from student interviews and classroom observations. With a mean difference of -26.000, t = -17.085, and p = 0.000, the paired sample t-test findings indicate a significant increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores and 0.9150 is the mean N-Gain score. The study suggests that integrating educational games like Kahoot into the classroom can effectively enhance vocabulary acquisition and create an engaging learning environment. so that the implementation of Game-Based Learning based on Kahoot games can be applied according to current conditions and can be more optimal in the future.
