<![CDATA[Banjarmasin City, known as the city of a thousand rivers, focuses on increasing green open spaces and clean rivers and creating an inclusive city. Over time, Banjarmasin has developed various facilities that are more accessible, including inclusive markets, easily accessible public health facilities, and paths and ramps in public buildings.The main objective of this design is to develop a disability-friendly park that is in accordance with the needs of people with disabilities, following applicable regulations and standards. This park aims to meet accessibility requirements and provide an inclusive open space for people with disabilities. The method used in this design is behavioral architecture, by considering user habits. The design of this disability park is expected to provide an inclusive experience and ensure maximum accessibility for all visitors. All elements of the park, from pedestrian paths to supporting facilities such as signage and play areas, are designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities and ensure the comfort and safety of visitors.]]>

<![CDATA[Pasar Ahad Kertak Hanyar is a traditional market that has evolved from the Dutch East Indies era. Pasar Ahad was established in 2005 through a cooperation with the Build-to-Sell (BGS) system, between the Banjar district government and PT Seraba Kawa which ended in 2023. The condition of the Ahad market building is increasingly concerning, especially the number of dead spaces in the market layout that have been abandoned by traders as a result of buyer behavior. The behavior of buyers tends to follow the main route or easily accessible route and the behavior of traders tends to adjust and can interfere with the comfort of buyers. In other words, there is a correlation between spatial layout and user behavior that can affect the sustainability of space functions. The design of Ahad Market in Kertak Hanyar emphasizes the spatial aspects and affordability. The Behavioral Architecture approach was chosen as the basis for understanding user behavior in space to create a spatial layout by the principles of behavioral architecture. The concept of Connectivity is present as a dialectical representation of users with space that serves as the basis for design improvements. The layout with a linear circulation system results from the connectivity of physical and visual concepts in the market building.]]>

<![CDATA[School children is one of the communities at risk of being exposed to Covid-19 because they spend a lot of time in school with the implementation of clean and healthy living is still low. Children can be asymptomatic carriers and play a role in the spread of the Covid-19 community. The main key in combating the spread of Covid-19 in children is the application of clean and healthy living behavior. School-age children are easily motivated and their competence is improved, covering aspects of knowledge, attitudes and behavior in the health sector by providing education. Three-dimensional media can be used as a learning media in providing knowledge about clean and healthy behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of three-dimensional learning media innovations on empowering clean and healthy living behavior for elementary school children during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used quasi-experimental design with one group pre-posttest, conducted in public elementary school number 43 Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra. A sample of 30 students in sixth grade elementary school was selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using pair t-test. The findings show that most of respondents are female (56,67%). Most of students’ knowledge before giving health education was in the low category (53,33%) and increased after given health education (60%).]]>

<![CDATA[Cat Center in Banjarbaru is a place where cats and humans can interact with each other. Cats are the most in-demand animals to be home pets, the community of animal lovers and individual animal keepers sprung up and gathered to share their similar interest in cat animals, because there is no container for animal lovers or communities to take their animals for a walk or gathering as fellow cat lovers. Therefore, a special place is needed for keepers, especially cat animals and their keepers, called pet friendly-human friendly places. The purpose of the design of the paint center in Banjarbaru is to provide containers and facilities based on the needs that can support humans and animals to interact. The design method used for the design of this cat center by analyzing the character owned by the cat is then applied in the concept that is attractive where the concept is a combination of various characters or behaviors that cats have, namely: pleasant and sometimes strange cat behavior that is the point of interest of the cat, its curiosity is high, friendly, active and playful. From the concept, the design that will be applied is a space where cats and humans can interact as well where the cat will feel comfortable playing in every corner of the room. Cat center in Banjarbaru is a public building with many types of mass space that are customized based on the nature or function of the space. Interaction space in the area with the embodiment of facilities that are interconnected with each other.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of the city of Banjarbaru accompanied by an increase in population and community activities resulting. An increase in the amount of garbage produced. The ideal waste processing and sorting needs and active role from the community is still not running optimally, if these conditions are left the amount of waste that can actually be processed more go more to a landfill or waste damaging the environment. The design of the waste management training center uses the ecological concept with the uses of recycled material or reuse material derived from waste or second thing. Ecological concepts are applied by interactive methods that include design elements namely the wall, floor, plafond, interior, and the composition of the mass and landscape. That concept and method is a solution to create a design that can communicate the importance of community care for the environment and waste process.]]>

<![CDATA[Childhood is the most important period in teaching good habits to children for the growth of their mindset. One of the good habits that can be taught is reading books. Reading books from an early age can develop children's imagination so that it has a positive impact on their creative level for the present to the future. In response to this, of course, we need a special forum to facilitate reading activities especially for children. In Kota Banjarbaru itself, there is no special library for children, only a children's service from the Banjarbaru City Regional Library. The purpose of designing this children's library is as a learning support center as well as educational activities and recreational facilities for children with an age limit of 2-13 years through activities that teach skills and insights that are in accordance with the characteristics of the child, which can attract children's reading interest in the city of Banjarbaru. The main thing that is applied in the design of the children's library in the city of Banjarbaru is that the building has the flexibility for its users to easily and quickly adjust. The method used in designing children's libraries in the city of Banjarbaru uses a behavioral architecture approach as a consideration in designing to direct behavior and accommodate it and answer all problems that arise in the design process. Behavioral architecture is an architecture whose application includes behavioral considerations in the design. Because the main actors of the activity are dynamic children, the concept used is spatial flexibility.]]>

<![CDATA[Ma'had Bakkah is a Salafi boarding school in Martapura that has grown organically sporadically following the need for space and land acquisition. Sporadic developments resulted in the inefficient arrangement of building masses and counterproductive circulation of the daily activities of students so the area needed to be redesigned. The redesign of Ma'had Bakkah uses a post-occupancy evaluation method by making student behavior the main study. The initial stage of post-occupancy evaluation is to collect data on existing assets and behavior on a macro and micro basis. The data obtained are the existing site, function, form, and the counterproductive level of the existing circulation based on three variables; steps, duration (seconds), and lines of reading the Qur'an. The set data was analyzed to produce the concept of the site, function, form, and value of the existing efficiency of Ma'had Bakkah. The results are redesigned concepts on-site, function, and form with the acquisition of post-redesigned circulation efficiency of 48% of the pre-redesigned circulation in the variable meter, steps, duration (seconds), and lines of reading the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[Pusat Edukasi Sungai Karang Mumus Samarinda merupakan tempat pembelajaran rehabilitasi sungai yang dilaksanakan oleh Komunitas Gerakan Memungut Sehelai Sampah (GMSS SKM). Tujuan GMSS adalah mengadakan fasilitas untuk mengedukasi masyarakat agar memulihkan kondisi, fungsi, kemanfaatan Sungai Karang Mumus bagi lingkungan hidup yang baik dan sehat serta kesejahteraan masyarakat, binatang, dan ruang hidup alami. Program yang dilakukan dari sosialisasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang akan mendorong masyarakat, akademisi, dan pendatang kota peduli pada lingkungan sungai. Melalui pendekatan arsitektur ekologis yang diharapkan agar masyarakat dapat menangkap dari tujuan GMSS dari melihat, memahami, meningkatan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, dan memiliki tindakan aktif dalam memelihara sungai.]]>

Thus it is felt necessary to plan and design an art appreciation building to appreciate the work of ABK in Balikpapan. The design of this building aims to provide facilities for ABK as a means of artistic expression as well as a place to appreciate artistic talent that is in accordance with the character of ABK. <![CDATA[The design of a Recreative Public Library in Banjarbaru is motivated by the low interest in the reading culture of the community, especially in the millennial generation and the need for new places and facilities in the library that can accommodate various activities, especially in terms of sharing, discussing, relaxing, educating and recreational (Edutainment) and other activities aligned with the public library. Through the concept of Edutainment, the design of the Recreative Public Library can be a forum for developing and increasing interest in the reading culture of the community as well as being an additional facility for edutainment activities in accordance with the context of "the pleasure of reading" by using the symbiosis method and a recreational architectural approach which can highlight the function of the library as education but also as a place of recreation, besides that it can also reinterpret the user's view of library design in a more modern era.]]>
