Abstract

Banyak sekolah di Indonesia yang sudah cukup terkenal dan terlihat banyak peminat untuk dapat masuk di sekolah-sekolah tersebut. Hal itu dikarenakan teknologi internet yang sudah berkembang cukup pesat, sehingga banyak informasi sekolah-sekolah yang tersebar di Indonesia. Sekolah-sekolah tersebut memperkenalkan sekolahnya dengan melalui web. Isi dari web mereka sangat memperkenalkan mengenai fasilitas, prestasi dan lain-lain. Namun ternyata masih banyak juga sekolah-sekolah yang belum memiliki web, atau sudah memiliki web akan tetapi hanya bersifat informasi profile sekolah saja. Salah satu sekolah yang belum memiliki web adalah SMP Al Abror. Sekolah SMP Al-Albror merupakan sekolah swasta yang berada di kawasan Jakarta Barat. Sekolah tersebut masih perlu banyak dukungan untuk dapat memperkaya sumber daya agar dapat terus berkembang menjadi lebih baik dari tahun ajaran sebelumnya. Maka dengan adanya Pengabdian Masyarakat dari Universitas Mercubuana, diarpkan siswa/siswi Al Abror dapat membangun web sekolah yang menarik dan dapat dikenal banyak orang khususnya di daerah Jakarta Barat.

Abstract

The usability analysis on the website of Mercu Buana University (UMB) is an important research carried out to ensure that the site effectively supports the university's goals, especially in terms of the user's experience in completing academic and administrative goals with ethical and professional standards. This research was carried out during the period January 2024 to May 2024. The main purpose of this study is to measure the usability of the UMB website using a questionnaire method. The questionnaire used for the research adapted the System Usability Scale (SUS) which consisted of a total of 10 questions. Based on the calculation of each statement item having a minimum score of 0 and a maximum score of 2.5, the final score of each respondent ranged from 0 to l00. The average score obtained was 63,125. Based on the results of the score of 63,125, the UMB website has a score in the range of 50 to 70. This shows that the UMB website is in the "quite good" category but there is still a need for a little improvement. Some icons or layouts on the UMB website are not familiar to respondents. In addition, there needs to be guidelines developed to provide information on how to use the website for users who are using the UMB website for the first time.

Abstract

Task management is one of the important aspects that support success in learning and working activities. The number of tasks and responsibilities often creates challenges, such as forgetting schedules or errors in recording tasks manually. To overcome these problems, a technology-based solution is needed, one of which is a web-based task management application that can help users organize and monitor tasks in a more structured manner. This research adopts a software development approach based on the Agile method, which allows the process of iteration and development that is adaptive to user needs. The “Taskify” application was developed using the Laravel framework to support backend functionality and MySQL as a database. Application testing is carried out using the Blackbox Testing method to ensure all features run according to user needs. The app also features a user-friendly and responsive interface, providing an optimal user experience..

Abstract

This research develops an online auction system utilizing the Django framework and Greedy algorithm to optimize the bidding process, addressing challenges in traditional auction systems such as geographical limitations, lack of transparency, and manual processes prone to errors. The study employs an Agile methodology with a Scrum approach, implementing a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture to separate business logic, presentation, and data management. The development of the auction application involves planning to identify system requirements, designing the architecture, implementing the backend/frontend, testing features and algorithms, deploying to the server, and conducting evaluation and adjustments based on feedback. Results demonstrate that the use of Django accelerates development and enhances system security, while the implementation of the Greedy algorithm successfully optimizes real-time bidding and winner selection processes. Key features developed include auction management, an automated bidding system, and secure payment integration.

Abstract

The development of technology and increasing human needs are two things that influence each other. As one example is the need to purchase art performance ticket using the internet. At present, most printed tickets allow misuse by irresponsible parties, but it also takes longer to get tickets. Therefore a solution is needed to purchase tickets with the website. In addition to making it easy for buyers and organizers, tickets will be accepted quickly. E-Ticketing is a way to document the sales process of a business activity without having to physically issue valuable documents or paper tickets. A website-based ticket art purchase application is needed to make purchasing process easier. The making of this application uses HTML as client-side development, PHP as server-side development, and MySQL as a database. With this application it is expected to help the organizers and buyers in making it easier to get tickets. In the testing phase this application starts from creating an account to getting a ticket going well. Then from the conclusions of the application made with this application, the buyer will get the convenience of getting tickets and buying tickets for events held at school by opening the website that has been provided.

Abstract

Beberapa tahun ini kita dihadapi dengan pandemi Covid 19 sehingga semua sektor aktifitas hampir lumpuh disebabkan penyebaran pandemi ini begitu cepat yang mengakibatkan sulitnya berinteraksi dengan jarak dekat antar satu orang dengan orang yang lain atau dihimbau untuk untuk tidak berkumpul dengan banyak orang. Tidak luput juga dalam hal kegiatan belajar mengajar, aktifitas ini membuat hampir semua tempat belajar mengajar untuk sementara waktu masih ada yang tidak diperbolehkan untuk berkumpul atau dibatasi banyak orang dalam satu tempat (kelas) sehingga masih ada yang dilakukan secara daring di rumah baik untuk siswa/mahasiswa dan pengajar guru/dosen. Wilayah SUDIN Pendidikan Jakarta Barat juga salah satu termasuk daerah yang terkena pandemi. VideoScribe merupakan video animasi tangan yang membuat sebuah gambar. Gambar-gambar ini akan dirangkai membentuk suatu rangkaian cerita dalam bentuk video. Maka dengan adanya pandemi ini teori Dabbagh dan Ritland serta VideoScribe sesuai untuk dijadikan pelatihan ini karena dapat diaplikasikan pada masa pandemi agar untuk mempermudah proses belajar mengajar para guru dan siswa dalam belajar online atau daring.

Abstract

This study aimed to enhance the performance of deep learning models in detecting and classifying medicinal plant leaf images by applying two data augmentation techniques, namely Random Contrast Augmentation (RCA) and Brightness Range Augmentation (BRA). The RCA technique randomly adjusted the contrast of images by calculating the pixel average and modifying each pixel value based on a contrast factor, thereby increasing the variation in image lighting. Meanwhile, BRA randomly altered the brightness of the images to simulate varying lighting conditions. The research process began with the collection of medicinal plant leaf image datasets, which were then divided into three parts: training data, validation data, and testing data. The dataset was then pre-processed to prepare the images before applying the augmentation. Augmentation techniques were employed to enrich the dataset by generating modified copies of images using RCA and BRA techniques. The application of both augmentation techniques resulted in a training dataset of 2,400 images, 300 validation images, and 300 testing images.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven the need for social media platforms that can provide simple, personal, and effective interactions. However, many existing applications tend to offer complex features that are less relevant to user needs. This research aims to design and develop TeiTei, a web-based social media application that emphasizes ease of use, convenience, and interactivity. This research includes identifying user needs, designing a user-friendly interface using the CSS Bootstrap framework, developing a PHP-based system with the Laravel framework, and managing the database using MySQL. In addition, a search algorithm was implemented to improve the efficiency of finding other users on the platform. The results of this research produced a web-based social media application prototype that can meet user needs through an intuitive interface design and relevant features. The implementation of search algorithms also adds value by expanding users' social networks. This research is expected to make a significant academic contribution to the development of social media applications, as well as serve as a reference for similar studies aimed at enhancing digital social interaction experiences.

Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya teknologi informasi di tahun 2025 tidak lupa dunia pendidikan juga tidak luput mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi, dimana aktifitas belajar mengajar sudah banyak menggunakan teknologi informasi. Selain perkembangan Teknologi yang saat ini sedang pesat, tentunya tidak terlepas dari segi keamanan digital. Dalam hal ini contoh dari teknologi keamanan digital yang saat sering digunakan adalah Face Recognition. Maka ketika majunya teknologi tidak luput untuk adanya pengamanan digital dalam segala aktifitas. Dengan uraian tersebut maka tujuan dari Pengabdian ini, Mengenalkan aplikasi ujian daring menggunakan deteksi wajah ke pihak sekolah, memberikan sedikit pemahaman bagaimana aplikasi ujian daring dengan menggunakan deteksi wajah dapat dibuat atau dibangun dengan menggunakan algoritma dan Bahasa pemrograman dan memudahkan pihak sekolah agar lebih mudah dalam pemberian tugas, kuis dan evaluasi akhir. Sedangkan beberapa harapan luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah menambah wawasan deteksi wajah pada keamanan sebuah system, menambah wawasan aplikasi ujian daring, meningkatkan kreatifitas dan ide untuk nantinya dalam pengembangan aplikasi ujian daring dengan penggunaan deteksi wajah dan diharapkan pada pengabdian masyarakat kali ini dapat memberikan pengalamannya kepada siswa dan guru di sekolah lain yang belum dapat berkesempatan mengikuti Pengabdian Masyarakat kali ini.

Abstract

The development of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) registration application aims to streamline the registration process for students interested in joining extracurricular activities at educational institutions. This application offers a digital solution to replace the manual registration process, improving efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.The design and implementation of the application follow a systematic approach, including needs analysis, system design, coding, testing, and deployment. The application features a user-friendly interface, secure data management, and real-time notifications, ensuring a seamless experience for both students and administrators.By integrating cloud-based technology, the application ensures scalability and accessibility, allowing users to register anytime and anywhere. Administrators can manage registrations, track member data, and generate reports more effectively. The study results show that the application significantly reduces administrative workload and enhances the engagement of students in UKM activities.This project highlights the potential of digital solutions in improving operational processes and fostering student participation in extracurricular activities. Future developments may include expanding features such as online payment integration and analytics for tracking member participation trends.
