Abstract

Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L) is one of the primary contributor for Indonesia export. For export commodity, the fruit should comply the quality requirement including its surface. Presently, the surface is evaluated by human visual to classify between defect and non- defect surface. This conventional method is less accurate and takes time, especially in high volume harvest. In order to overcome this problem, this research proposed images processing based classification method using principal component analysis (PCA). The method involved pre-processing task, PCA decomposition, and statistical features extraction and classification task using linear discriminant analysis. The method has been tested on 120 images by applying 4-fold cross validation method and achieve classification accuracy of 96.67%, 90.00%, 90.00% and 100.00% for fold-1, fold-2, fold-3 and fold-4, respectively. In conclusion, the proposed method succeeded to classify between defect and non-defect mangosteen surface with 94.16% accuracy.

Abstract

In this paper, we propose exam engine software with tagging system to help students’ study. With this tagging system, they can analyze their subject learning through exam they have done from time to time. When the students see their reports, the students will decide which subjects are low in grade and should be re-studied. We use AJAX technology to enrich the user experience of this exam engine. After we test all feature with unit testing, this exam engine is proven to runs well and do benefits for students.

Abstract

A bot is a web robot or an assistant with computer intelligence. The usefulness of a bot is very much starting from the web, messenger, and others. One application possessing a provider to make a bot is a Telegram. The development of technology, such as social media applications, has made them prevalent for the public, including most Muslims. Sometimes, people will be negligent in worshiping when using the application. Therefore, creating a prayer schedule bot is necessary to prevent people from doing so. A framework creation aimed to facilitate the stages of making a bot using a PHP programming language. The bot-making results could be utilized in various countries with the calculation method found in a bot, providing a preference for users. Telegram bot is preferred for smartphone users wanting storage efficiency and having an internet connection. In contrast, the conventional prayer scheduler application does not care much about the storage taken and does not have an internet connection.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat berbasis Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah (PPM Muh) UMY memiliki tujuan: 1). Mengembangkan PCM/ PRM/ PRA menjadi mandiri secara ekonomi dan sosial; 2). Membantu menciptakan ketentraman, dan kenyamanan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat; serta 3). Meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir, membaca, dan menulis atau keterampilan lain yang dibutuhkan (softskill dan hardskill) bagi anggota PCM/PRM/PRA. Pada pelaksanaan pengabdian ini berawal dari permasalahan PDM Sleman di dalam membantu pelaksanaan penerimaan pegawai guru dan karyawan Muhammadiyah pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dari cara yang masih konvensional yang masih banyak membutuhkan proses manual dan ditambah adanya wabah Covid-19. Dari permasalahan tersebut, mulai dilakukan inisialisasi proses secara online dengan menggunakan website. Pelaksanaan pengabdian saat ini diusulkan untuk melakukan perbaikan konten dan alur proses untuk aplikasi yang lebih baik terutama untuk manajemen dari sisi pengguna admin yang pada aplikasi sebelumnya masih banyak sekali harus digunakan perubahan langsung ke sumber kode program diperbaiki dengan model pembuatan antarmuka (interface) untuk fitur admin. Pelaksanaan penerimaan pegawai di PDM Sleman ini membantu PCM/PRM/PRA terutama dari segi rekruitmen Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan peningkatan keterampilan baik softskill dan hardskill. Dengan baiknya SDM, maka akan berkontribusi kelancaran pelaksanaan rekruitmen guru dan karyawan secara efisien dan cepat

Abstract

Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Dikdasmen) Pimpinan Daerah Sleman merupakan penyelenggara amal usaha Muhammadiyah dalam bidang pendidikan SD, SMP, dan SMA/K Muhammadiyah se-Kabupaten Sleman. Setiap tahun, Majelis Dikdasmen menyelenggarakan rekrutmen guru dan karyawan secara daring dengan menggunakan sistem berbasis teknologi informasi dimana salah satunya adalah sistem Ujian Kompetensi Berbasis Web (UKBW). Sistem UKBW dikembangkan melalui platform MyKlass yang dimiliki oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Oleh karena sistem tersebut menginduk pada MyKlass, maka pihak Majlis menghadapi keterbatasan dalam mengelola dan menggunakannya. Program ini memberikan solusi berupa pendampingan penggunaan Sistem UKBW dalam rekrutmen guru dan karyawan sekolah Muhammadiyah se-Kabupaten Sleman tahun 2021 Angkatan VI. Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah observasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan ujian daring, dan evaluasi. UKBW telah selesai dilaksanakan dan diikuti oleh 535 calon guru dan karyawan. Hasil ujian dari sistem langsung dapat diperoleh setelah ujian selesai dan kemudian diolah oleh mitra sehingga 111 calon guru dan karyawan untuk tingkat SD, 78 untuk tingkat SMP, dan 50 untuk tingkat SMA dinyatakan lulus UKBW.Program telah berhasil membantu Majlis Dikdasmen dalam penyelenggaraan UKBW rekrutmen guru dan karyawansekolah Muhammadiyah se-Sleman

Abstract

TKA-TPA di dalam proses belajar Iqro yang selama ini dilakukan adalah dengan interaksi secara langsung antara Siswa dengan Guru. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi informasi terutama di bidang Artificial Intelligence (AI) sangat memungkinkan untuk dibuat piranti pembantu untuk membantu proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian dilakukan untuk menguji siswa TKA-TPA dengan menggunakan aplikasi desktop Iqro dengan AI untuk pelafalan huruf hijaiyah. Siswa yang diuji memiliki jenis kelamin putra dan putri untuk menguji kemampuan aplikasi desktop Iqro dengan AI. Aplikasi ini akan menebak suara yang apakah benar atau salah setiap siswa dan dicatat untuk jumlah jawaban dengan nilai total yang terekap. Hasil dari pengujian menghasilkan terhadap 4 siswa aplikasi menghasilkan rata-rata 80% untuk menebak jumlah jawaban benar. Pada pengabdian ini dengan hasil 80% masih diperlukan proses peningkatan aplikasi agar bisa digunakan kemampuan untuk menebak dengan hasil yang labih baik dan akurat

Abstract

Indonesia was shocked by the emergence of the first case of Covid-19 in March 2020. The Covid-19 virus can be fought with herd immunity, namely by vaccinating. On December 16, 2020, President Joko Widodo announced that he would provide the Covid-19 vaccine to the people of Indonesia. The information received various responses from the public. One of them through twitter. There are opinions that support and there are also those who reject vaccination. To find out the opinion of public sentiment regarding vaccination, a sentiment analysis process is carried out using an algorithm that aims to assist the sentiment analysis process with quite a lot of data. In this study, the sentiment analysis process uses one of the deep learning methods, namely LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory). The results of this study tend to support the vaccination program by producing 79% positive tweets, 13% neutral tweets and 8% negative tweets and getting a model accuracy of 71% using parameters of 15 epochs, 64 batch sizes and a comparison of training data and test data of 9:1 ​​(3600:400).

Abstract

Pekalongan City is a region on the northern coast of Java with a sloping topography and is susceptible to the increasing sea level, which can result in tidal floods. As previous research revealed, ten villages in three districts, including coastal areas, are vulnerable to tidal floods. Moreover, the vulnerability analysis based on BNPB Head Regulation (Perka) No. 2 of 2012 unveiled that seven out of ten villages in three districts have a high risk of tidal floods. Pekalongan City experienced a tidal flood that swamped 16 villages in three districts at the beginning of 2021. It was the result of heavy rains and strong tides along the northern shore. The tidal flood caused damage to a variety of sectors, including agriculture, communities, infrastructure, and clean water sanitation. Information technology development was employed in disaster management, making it simpler to acquire data for predicting future disasters, obtaining data in disaster-affected areas, and implementing mitigation in disaster-prone areas. This study collected data through interviews and a literature review. This research created Android applications simulating a water level monitoring system using the flutter framework. Firebase was utilized as a database for authentication, while Google Maps Platform was deployed to display maps during the application simulation. It is anticipated that the simulation of the water level monitoring system will be the first step in building the water level monitoring system in Pekalongan City. Hence, residents of Pekalongan City can utilize it to assist with mobility issues during floods.

Abstract

Heart health is a basic human right and a crucial component of global health justice. In an ever-more-advanced age, every task becomes simple due to science, technology, and information development. However, certain tasks are still performed manually. Therefore, innovation in computerized system design is required. The human heart area calculation was performed by combining image processing and deep learning techniques. Deep learning is a scientific subfield of machine learning, while image segmentation is a step in image processing. This study employed the U-Net segmentation method to identify different stages of heart area calculation. U-Net could conduct image segmentation with the small training dataset accurately. This study’s population consisted of 800 chest X-ray images obtained from the Kaggle website, with human hearts as the sample. The findings revealed that the training data with the U-Net architecture model acquired an accuracy of 09.98. However, the testing data accuracy was still determined manually. In this work, the U-Net model employed an input shape measuring 256x256, a kernel size of 3x3, and 50 epochs.

Abstract

The design and build of the Unires student dormitory management system of UMY integrated with the campus system with the Laravel framework aim to aid office and development staff. This system contained two types and several levels of roles. The roles were on the staff and resident sides. Concerning the staff, the roles comprised the director, staff, caregivers, technicians, new student admission committees (penmaru), launders, and examiners. Meanwhile, on the resident side, it consisted of the supervisor, senior, senior assistant, and resident. Access and features for each position varied based on the requirements of the function. The login for staff required a username and password freely determined. On the other hand, the resident position utilized the Single Sign-On procedure connected with UMY. Display for staff was standard with widescreen sizes. Unlike the system for staff, the residents’ display had a mobile-first design, meaning that it looks best on a tiny screen but is still legible when viewed on a large screen. Through the Bureau of Information System (BSI) of UMY, this system was also indirectly linked to the bank’s payment system. This technology would make the management and development of student dormitories simpler, more effective, and more efficient.
