Abstract

This study examines strategies for utilizing halal tourism as a driver of sustainable economic development in Central Java, Indonesia, a pilot province for this niche market. With a focus on Muslim travelers seeking culturally and religiously appropriate experiences, the research integrates primary data from stakeholder interviews and secondary data from local tourism records. The findings highlight that while Central Java’s halal tourism sector shows considerable potential, it remains in its early stages, with significant opportunities for growth. Key strategies identified include categorizing tourist destinations into historical, nature, and cultural segments to better tailor marketing and improve visitor experiences. Additionally, creating regional tourist routes is suggested to enhance accessibility and navigation for tourists. The study emphasizes the importance of aligning halal tourism efforts with sustainable economic growth, particularly in the context of the G20 agenda. By linking halal tourism with broader economic strategies, the research provides actionable insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders to strengthen local business capacities and boost the economic resilience of the region. This approach positions halal tourism not only as a cultural offering but also as a pivotal component of Central Java’s long-term economic development strategy.

Abstract

Produk Wardah merupakan kosmetik yang terkenal dengan ciri khas pada logo halalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh word of mouth dan brand awareness terhadap keputusan pembelian melalui brand image sebagai variabel intervening pada produk Wardah di kota jepara. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen pengguna produk Wardah di jepara dengan jumlah sampel 132 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) Amos versi 24. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) word of mouth berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap brand image; 2) brand awareness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand image; 3) word of mouth berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian melalui brand image sebagai variabel intervening; 4) brand awareness berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian melalui brand image sebagai variabel intervening; 5) brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk Wardah di kota jepara.

Abstract

Kebutuhan dan keinginan manusia terus meningkat sehingga perlu adanya pengelolaan dari sisi keuangan. Pengelolaan keuangan ini dapat dimulai dari lingkup masyarakat terkecil yaitu keluarga sehingga dapat membentuk perilaku keuangan keluarga. Perilaku keuangan keluarga dapat dimulai dengan mengetahui determinan literasi keuangan, pengalaman keuangan terhadap perilaku keuangan keluarga dan memasukkan pendapatan keluarga sebagai variabel penghubung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan path analysis dengan SPSS. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 ibu-ibu di Kabupaten Kudus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung literasi keuangan dan pengalaman keuangan terhadap perilaku keuangan keluarga, pengaruh tidak langsung literasi keuangan dan pengalaman keuangan terhadap perilaku keuangan keluarga dengan pendapatan keluarga sebagai interveningnya.

Abstract

The development of the times has made the financial industry faster in innovating. Financial institutions are currently not only engaged in conventional financial institutions but there are Islamic financial institutions. One of the Islamic financial institutions that has developed to date is Islamic banking. The services of Islamic financial institutions are sometimes not understood by the public. The public's understanding of various Islamic banking literature needs to be clarified by providing an easy to understand example for people starting from the lower middle class or even the upper class. The purpose of this service is to provide Islamic banking literacy to the people in Sambiroto Village for Islamic banking products in various Sharia Banks in Indonesia. As a result of this service, it is hoped that the people of Sambiroto Village can better understand and understand the literature of Islamic banking and even want to transact in Islamic banking.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic going on for an entire year in 2020 has impacted many aspects of life in Indonesia. This situation forces us as social creatures to find new ways to socialize, work, and perform various daily activities safely. The impact of social distancing concept makes industry players or SMEs in 2021 must be able to respond to what the community needs directly by changing the business model, including SMEs renting party equipment and tents. Marketing that has been done offline needs to be changed by using digital marketing media, which is currently very influential in the business world. Through Instagram, SME players can take advantage of various marketing features that can attract many prospective strategic consumers more efficiently and effectively to be implemented during this pandemic. The selection of Tembalang District as a target group in community service because Tembalang District is the 2nd district with the most significant number of SMEs in Semarang City.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of intellectual capital and good corporate governance on company value which is mediated by profitability in banking companies listed on the BEI in 2018-2022. The intellectual capital variable is measured by VAIC, good corporate governance is measured by the board of commissioners, company value is measured by PBV, and profitability is measured by ROA. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population in this study are banking companies listed on the BEI in 2018-2022. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The sample in this research was 10 banking companies with a research period of 5 years, totaling 50. The data analysis technique used in this research used Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square analysis with SmartPLS 3 software. The results of the research showed that Intellectual capital had a positive and significant effect on company value, good corporate governance has no effect on company value, intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on profitability, good corporate governance has no effect on profitability, profitability has a positive and significant effect on company value, profitability has been proven to mediate the effect of intellectual capital on company value, profitability has no able to mediate the influence of good corporate governance on company value.

Abstract

Total food and beverage MSMEs in Kudus is currently experiencing a decline. Therefore, this study analysed the role of leadership style and financial literacy in enhancing business performance and promoting sustainable development in the food MSMEs in Kudus, Central Java. A purposive sampling was used to choose 150 respondents, and data were analysed using the SEM-PLS method. The results showed leadership style and financial literacy impact positively and ly on business sustainability. Furthermore, leadership style and financial literacy positively and ly affected performance. Improved performance had a positive impact on sustainability, and served as a mediating factor in this study. To support sustainable practices, MSMEs leaders should integrate sustainability goals into their strategic planning, as both leadership style and financial literacy are essential in this effort. This could include applying eco-friendly practices, lowering waste, or investing in sustainable materials, all of which could improve brand image and attract conscious consumers.
