Abstract

The Business sector is facing intense competition around the world so that organizations recognize the importance of human resources as a competitive advantage. For this reason, the factors that have an influence on employee performance are discussed in this study including emotional intelligence, work environment and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyse the effect of emotional intelligence and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as intervening variable at PT. Indomaju Textindo Kudus. The quantitative method used in this research is using AMOS confirmatory analysis followed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This research uses non probability sampling method (accidental sampling) in order to collect data. Primary data is used in the study by distributing 150 sample questionnaires to production employees at PT. Indomaju Textindo. The findings in this study are that emotional intelligence and work environment have a direct effect on employee performance. From the research results it can be concluded to improve the performance of employees at PT. Indomaju Textindo can be pursued by maintaining and improving the emotional intelligence of employees and a safe and comfortable work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze rational consumer behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique used by researchers was source triangulation with analytical procedures including data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that there is a change in the consumption behavior of tourism bus entrepreneurs from being consumptive to being more rational during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rational behavior in this study is measured based on need, capability, best quality, and optimal utility.

Abstract

Nowadays, the concerns of environment are becoming a very important global issue, including for organizations. The existence of an organization in the long term depends on the application of its environmental policies. Responding to a greater Environmental Awareness, organizations are becoming more concerned about managing green human resources (GHRM). Attention to employee green behavior appear from the employee’s necessities to use resources wisely and responsibly. Although the literature on GHRM gets a great attention and discussion among industry practitioner, however research that showed GHRM’s practice and its contribution to employee green behavior in organization is limited and requires more review in the academic literature. The aims of this research are (1) reviewed the literature on the relationship between GHRM practices and employee green behavior in organization; (2) explore the definitions provided by researchers regarding the term "GHRM" and present them to make interpretation of the GHRM concept. Secondary data and desk research methods are used in this study. The findings in this study highlight the status of green human resource practices such as green recruitment and selection, green training and development, green performance management, green involvement and green pay and reward simultaneously associated with the employee green human behavior both task or voluntary in the organization. Employee green behavior is considered to provide enormous benefits and does not damage the environment. This study provides a comprehensive literature review to measure human resource practices that can provide a broader focus for further research and for practitioners. Current study is more important for developing countries, which have alarming environmental issue and government regulations that have not been implemented properly.

Abstract

Tingginya kebutuhan konsumen terhadap pangan menjadikan pelaku usaha yang bergerak dalam bidang kuliner berperan penting dalam penyediaan makanan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Sehingga dalam hal ini menjadi perhatian dan tugas penting bagi seluruh pihak baik pemerintah maupun produsen makanan untuk menjaga keamanan pangan yang diproduksinya, baik dari segi gizi, kebersihan, keamanan, kehalalan dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu program pemerintah dalam menjamin produk makanan aman untuk dikonsumsi masyarakat adalah dengan mengeluarkan izin edar berupa izin PIRT (pangan industri rumah tangga) dan Sertifikasi Halal yang merupakan jaminan resmi dari pemerintah untuk dapat beredar dan aman dikonsumsi bagi seluruh konsumen. PIRT dikeluarkan melalui badan pengawas yaitu Dinas Kesehatan yang terdapat di suatu Kabupaten. Seiring dengan hal tersebut, berbagai peluang untuk melakukan peningkatan kinerja pemasaran muncul melalui platform marketplace.Pengabdian ini melakukan pendekatan pemberdayaan pemanfaatan PIRT, Sertifikasi Halal dan digital marketing melalui platform marketplace untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk dan kinerja pemasaran. Melalui pengabdian ini terjadi peningkatan nilai produk dengan memperoleh izin PIRT, Sertifikasi Halal dan jangkauan pasar yang lebih luas dengan menggunakan platform marketplace pada produk sirup parijoto. Kata kunci: Digital Marketing; PIRT; Sertifikasi Halal; Sirup Parijoto

Abstract

Currently, MSMEs must begin to realize the importance of various digital platform services such as peer to peer lending (P2P) and electronic money. The low number of MSME business actors in Kudus Regency compared to MSME business actors in other regencies is one of the reasons for conducting this research. In addition, there is still a lack of research on Peer to peer lending (P2P) and electronic money with the use of connecting/intervening variables. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data was obtained using a questionnaire distributed to 91 MSME business actors in Kudus Regency.  Consumer data were analyzed using multiple regression models and path analysis with SPSS.  The results show that there is a direct influence of P2P and electronic money on the increase in MSME profits, the indirect influence of P2P and electronic money on the increase in MSME profits with MSME income as intervening, as well as the direct influence of P2P and electronic money on MSME income.

Abstract

Organizational succession can be determined by stable and significant work performance. The low work performance of employees due to the quality of training transfers that are less than optimal is the reason for this study. This study aims to analyze the effect of transfer of training and psychological empowerment that can affect the improvement of work performance through organizational commitment. The sample used is all staff-level employees at PT. BRI Life Insurance Semarang Regional Office, totaling 150 employees. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with AMOS SEM data analysis technique. The results showed that job performance can be influenced by the transfer of training and psychological empowerment through organizational commitment. From the results of the study, it can be concluded to improve work performance at PT. BRI Life Insurance Semarang Regional Office can be pursued by paying attention to and increasing the success of the transfer of training and psychological empowerment because they are important things and have been emphasized in this study.

Abstract

The current period of acquisition strategy is an effective and efficient way to relocate assets in the economy, especially the banking sector. The acquisition brought many changes to the organization. The research aims to answer the influence of post-acquisition Leadership Style on employee performance through Readiness for Change as an intervening variable. This research method uses Partial Least Square (PLS). This study uses a non-probability sampling method to collect data. Primary data is used in this study by distributing 100 sample questionnaires to employees at BRI AGRO bank. The finding is that leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance post-acquisition through readiness for change. The results of the study, can be concluded that in order to improve the performance of employees at Bank BRI AGRO, they can maintain and improve their leadership style. In addition to mediating research variables, Readiness for Change also has a direct influence on employee performance.

Abstract

UMKM di lereng gunung Muria yaitu Kopi Robusta Muria Zayna dan Recolta Parijoto masih minim pengetahuan tentang pentingnya sertifikasi halal produk, pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang inovatif agar mampu menciptakan diversifikasi produk dan menjalankan strategi pemasaran yang baik. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada kemungkinan tutupnya suatu usaha atau adanya pengambil alihan branding atas produk Robusta Muria dan Parijoto dari daerah lain. Padahal Robusta Muria dan Parijoto termasuk produk hasil pertanian yang menjadi unggulan/ciri khas dari Gunung Muria. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian ini meliputi 1) Sosialisasi; 2) Pendampingan; 3) Pelatihan; dan 4) Monitoring dan Evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran mitra. Berdasarkan program yang telah dilakukan produk mitra sudah tersertifikasi halal, kemampuan SDM meningkat melalui uji pretest dan post-test pelatihan dan mampu menciptakan inovasi produk baru dari kulit kopi berupa teh cascara, teh celup parijoto dan kopi parijoto. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah pengabdian dilakukan.

Abstract

The crisis condition caused by the pandemic had an impact on financial performance in general, including the policy on the rate of return provided by banks. This study aims to analyze the behavior of bank deposit returns during Covid-19 in Indonesia. Using time-series data for the period February 2020 – September 2021 which was analyzed using the VECM approach, it shows that there is a long-term relationship between the returns on Islamic Rural Bank, Islamic commercial bank, rate of interest, and deposit Insurance Agency interest rates. Meanwhile, in the short-term relationship, only the DIA variable is significantly influenced by the previous period's DIA variable. The results of the study found that the DIA variable was proven to significantly affect the rate of return given by IRB and conventional bank deposit rates. During the Covid-19 pandemic, banks provided a rate of return on deposits that did not exceed the DIA guarantee interest rate. The banking industry and DIA need to mitigate risks that arise during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract The concept of sustainable agriculture is an important issue in the processing of agricultural products. One of the main ideas is the effort to utilize every agricultural product to become economically valuable. Coffee entrepreneurs are proficient in coffee sorting, roasting, grinding, packaging, and even marketing techniques that dare to use the marketplace. The purpose of this community service is to introduce innovation opportunities using coffee husks which were previously only thrown away to become processed cascara tea which has economic value. Through this activity, coffee entrepreneurs can utilize every part of the coffee harvest to be useful and of economic value. The targets of this activity are Muria Zayna coffee SMEs and Recolta SMEs in the Dawe sub-district, Kudus Regency. The activity method is carried out by providing training related to halal certification, market orientation, HR development and training of product innovation. The output of this activity is increasing market orientation through branding halal products and product innovation from coffee skins. In addition, through this activity it is able to support the concept of sustainable agriculture for coffee entrepreneurs. Abstrak Konsep suistanable agriculture menjadi isu penting dalam pengolahan hasil pertanian. Salah satu gagasan utamanya adalah upaya memanfaatkan setiap hasil pertanian menjadi bernilai ekonomis. Para pelaku usaha kopi sudah mahir dalam hal penyortiran kopi, roasting, grinding, packaging bahkan teknik pemasaran daring menggunakan marketplace. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memperkenalkan peluang inovasi menggunakan kulit kopi yang sebelumnya hanya dibuang menjadi sajian olahan teh cascara yang bernilai ekonomis. Melalui kegiatan ini, para pengusaha bisa memanfaatkan setiap bagian dari hasil panen kopi menjadi bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomis. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah pelaku UMKM kopi Muria Zayna dan UMKM Recolta yang berada di kecamatan Dawe Kabupaten Kudus. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pelatihan terkait sertifikasi halal, orientasi pasar, pengembangan SDM dan kebutuhan inovasi produk. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan orientasi pasar melalui branding produk halal dan inovasi produk dari kulit kopi. Selain itu, melalui kegiatan ini mampu mendukung konsep suistanable agriculture bagi pengusaha kopi.
