Abstract

This study aims to design a monitoring system for soil moisture, air humidity, and air temperature in a cocoa seedling farm using a microcontroller-based Internet of Things (IoT). The system was implemented at Efendi Farm, which houses 20,000 cocoa seedlings. Monitoring is conducted using soil moisture sensors and DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity, with data displayed on an LCD and sent to an Android application via Firebase. The system also includes notifications via buzzer and Telegram, as well as data logging using Google Spreadsheet. The results indicate that the system effectively monitors environmental conditions in real-time and efficiently.

Abstract

In managing the supply of wood raw materials at CV. Jati Sari is still carried out based on the personal experience of business entity owners. Because it is based on personal experience without carrying out in-depth analysis or forecasting, it will create a risk of excess or shortage of stock, making stock management inefficient. The software development method used is the Waterfall method. Double Exponential Smoothing is implemented in this research as a forecasting prediction calculation method. This research produces a prediction system that can produce output in the form of a predicted amount of wood needed as inventory or stock in the warehouse in cubic meters. For manual calculations, the DES method has a prediction calculation result for the 21st period of 4.8 m3. Based on the system testing using black box and white box testing that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the prediction system for procurement of wood raw material stock using the website-based Double Exponential Smoothing method has succeeded well in solving the problem of predicting the amount of wood raw material stock for the next period at CV. Jati Sari.

Abstract

The health center that has the highest prevalence of stunting in Sleman Regency is the Minggir health center at 13.15%. The results of interviews with nutrition officers for toddlers at the Minggir Health Center showed that there were still toddlers with poor nutritional status. In addition, the nutrition service system for toddlers has not functioned properly.  Because such suboptimal performance will, it is easier to create a system that can handle or minimize such problems. Thus, building a decision support system can be a solution to the problem that occurs. The SAW method is one of the methods used and the system is designed using the PHP programming language, MySQL database and  laravel framework. The research resulted in the creation of a website that can determine the nutritional status of stunted toddlers at the Minggir Health Center Posyandu. This system is designed according to the needs based on the criteria that have been set by the nutrition officer. In the application test, the preference values and nutritional status results obtained from calculations using the system were in accordance with the results of manual calculations with Excel and the nutritional status determination system was as expected.

Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia remains relatively high, partly due to delays in recognizing pregnancy danger signs and the lack of proper monitoring of maternal conditions. Therefore, a technology-based system is needed to support the early detection of pregnancy-related diseases. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system for diagnosing diseases in pregnant women using the forward chaining method with a classical probability approach. The research employed the waterfall model. The system’s knowledge base consists of 15 types of pregnancy-related diseases and 73 symptoms, with diagnostic rules validated by experts. The system was tested using blackbox testing as well as validation of diagnostic results with experts. The results showed that the system was able to produce diagnoses consistent with experts in 14 out of 15 test cases, achieving an accuracy rate of 93.33%. The system is also equipped with a feature for uploading and storing ultrasound (USG) results to support coordination among healthcare facilities. In conclusion, this web-based expert system can be used as an early diagnostic tool and an educational medium for pregnant women, and has the potential to make a significant contribution to reducing maternal mortality in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak. Laznas Yakesma DIY merupakan salah satu Lembaga Amil Zakat Nasional yang berfokus pada pengelolaan zakat dan sedekah untuk membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan. Proses penentuan penerima zakat di lembaga ini selama ini masih dilakukan dengan metode yang belum terstruktur dan bersifat subjektif, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan ketidaktepatan dalam penyaluran zakat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis website menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), yang mampu membandingkan kriteria secara berpasangan untuk menghasilkan bobot prioritas yang lebih objektif. Kriteria yang digunakan meliputi penghasilan, pekerjaan, tanggungan keluarga, tempat tinggal, dan kondisi kesehatan. Sistem ini dibangun dengan framework Laravel dan basis data MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengolah data penerima zakat berdasarkan bobot setiap kriteria, menghasilkan peringkat calon penerima secara objektif, serta mengurangi subjektivitas dalam pengambilan keputusan. Pengujian dengan metode Blackbox membuktikan bahwa sistem berjalan sesuai harapan, sehingga dapat membantu Laznas Yakesma DIY dalam menentukan penerima zakat secara lebih akurat, efisien, dan transparan.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing bangsa melalui pengembangan kompetensi siswa. Salah satu upaya pemerintah adalah menyelenggarakan Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) yang dimulai dari tingkat sekolah, Di SMP Negeri 1 Srumbung, pemilihan peserta Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) bidang Matematika, IPA, dan IPS masih subjektif dan berpotensi ganda karena perbedaan penilaian guru pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web menggunakan metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) agar proses pemilihan lebih objektif, efisien, dan terstruktur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan perangkat lunak waterfall, meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Kriteria utama yang digunakan dalam metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) mencakup nilai tes, rata-rata penilaian harian, nilai rapor, dan keaktifan siswa yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi tempat penelitian. Pengujian melalui metode black box testing menunjukkan seluruh fitur sistem berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan harapan. Sistem ini mampu meminimalkan subjektivitas guru dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih transparan, adil, serta meningkatkan kualitas pemilihan peserta Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) di tingkat sekolah.

Abstract

Di Desa Damarsari, pencatatan tumbuh kembang balita masih dilakukan secara manual dengan menggunakan buku, yang berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakakuratan pencatatan dan menyulitkan proses pemantauan. Situasi tersebut menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini untuk membangun sistem pemantauan balita berbasis website yang dapat membantu proses pencatatan dan pemantauan perkembangan balita secara digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall dalam pengimplementasiannya, yang meliputi tahap desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem ini memiliki fitur pencatatan data balita, pencatatan hasil penimbangan balita, serta laporan dalam bentuk PDF. Sistem ini diuji menggunakan blackbox testing. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan pemantauan tumbuh kembang balita di Desa Damarsari dapat dilakukan secara efisien, efektif, dan terdokumentasi dengan baik.

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to the problems of counseling services at Jatilawang 1 Public High School, which were not optimally managed due to the limited number of guidance counselors, the high number of students, and the manual nature of counseling records. These conditions resulted in delays in handling cases and difficulties in continuously monitoring student progress. This study aims to design and implement a web-based counseling information system that can support the structured and integrated management of counseling services. The research method used is Research and Development with the Waterfall development model. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling and implemented using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL database. To support the determination of counseling service priorities, the system applies a Priority Scheduling algorithm that considers the urgency level of student problems. Testing results using the Black Box Testing method showed that the system was able to accelerate the scheduling process, improve the regularity of counseling data management, and support collaboration between guidance counselors, students, homeroom teachers, principals, and parents. Thus, this system is expected to improve the effectiveness and quality of guidance counseling services in secondary schools.

Abstract

Hypertension is a chronic non-communicable disease often accompanied by comorbidities, which can increase complication risks and reduce patients' quality of life. Currently, the identification of comorbidities in hypertension patients is frequently conducted manually, making it time-consuming and highly dependent on healthcare workers' thoroughness. This study aims to develop a predictive model for hypertension comorbidities using a machine learning-based Random Forest algorithm, designed as an early screening tool for the general population. The research method follows the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework, encompassing business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. Clinical data were collected from medical records, focusing on predicting eight primary comorbidities using a multi-label classification approach. Data preprocessing involved data cleaning, transformation, splitting into training and testing sets, and handling class imbalances. The Random Forest model was trained and evaluated using subset accuracy and hamming loss metrics. The results demonstrate that the Random Forest algorithm successfully predicts hypertension comorbidities with a subset accuracy of 0.3361 and a hamming loss of 0.1502, indicating robust performance for multi-label prediction. The model was successfully deployed into a Streamlit-based web application, enabling healthcare professionals to obtain direct prediction results. This system is expected to assist in the early screening and monitoring of hypertension patients.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mendorong perusahaan transportasi untuk meng elola data operasional mereka secara lebih efektif dan melalui sistem terkomputerisasi. Salah satu bagian penting dari cara perusahaan transportasi beroperasi adalah proses inspeksi kendaraan, yang bertujuan untuk memastikan armada aman dan layak digunakan. Pada CV. Proses inspeksi kendaraan saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual, yang dapat menyebabkan kesalahan dalam pencatatan, keterlambatan pelaporan, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola data kendaraan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem inspeksi kendaraan berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem ini menyediakan beberapa fitur utama termasuk login pengguna, manajemen data kendaraan, proses inspeksi kendaraan, hasil inspeksi, dan kemampuan untuk menghasilkan laporan PDF yang dapat dicetak. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan setiap fungsi sistem bekerja sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan membantu membuat proses inspeksi kendaraan lebih terorganisir, memudahkan pengelolaan data kendaraan, dan meningkatkan efisiensi pembuatan laporan inspeksi kendaraan.
