Abstract

Kegiatan Pendirian start up bisnis mahasiswa ini dilakukan mengingat belum adanya start up bisnis yang dikelola oleh Mahasiswa di Universitas Mandala Waluya. Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dosen Universitas Mandala Waluya. Dimana melibatkan 6 orang mahasiswa Prodi S1 Farmasi. Star up bisnis mahasiswa dimulai dengan bisnis perdana sabun kertas berbasis daun katuk (Sauropus androgyrus (L) Merr). Dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dalam star up bisinis ini, diharapkan mahasiswa sebelum lulus dari UMW mempunyai tambahan keterampilan kearah enterprenuership. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan sejak bulan Juni 2021 dimulai dari sosialisasi program dan pembentukan organisasi Start Up Bisnis Mahasiswa. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan sediaan sabun kertas berbahan daun katuk. Selanjutnya produksi sediaan sabun kertas berbahan ekstrak daun katuk, pengemasan dan promosi.

Abstract

Background: Free sex behavior in Indonesian teen has vastly improved. Free sex issues is the concern for all. The aim of this research was to determine the factors of free sex behavioral based on the health belief model. Methods:This research was a cross sectional study. The population were 304 students and sample of 75 respondents, the sampling using simple random sampling technique. Results: The results showed that there is correlation between vulnerability/seriousness perception to free sex behavior, with Chi Square 9.182 (? = 0350). There is a correlation between the level of threat perception to free sex behavior with Chi Square 14.815 (? = 0.444). There is a correlation between religiosity to free sex behavior with Chi Square 23.628 (? = 0561). There is a relationship between the gender to free sex behavior with Chi Square 16,000 (? = 0462). There is a correlation between social media to free sex behavior with Chi Square 25,000 (? = 0.577). Conclusion: Factors affecting free sex behavior are perception of the level of vulnerability / seriousness and threat of disease due to sex, religiosity, gender and social media. We are expected to SMAN I Pasir Putih to be able in using this research as information and consideration in developing the knowledge of adolescents about the dangers of free sex behavior.

Abstract

Background: An effective health planning is a root of success to cope with public health problems in the village. Communities in the village have resources to solve the problem. However, they do not have the skill to cope with their problem. This qualitative study is to analyze the process of community-led health program planning. Methods: This qualitative method using Participatory Rural Appraisal Approach which recruited village communities and government from April to August 2016 in Lambusa and Lebojaya Villages, Konda Sub-district in Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Data analysis used interpretive analysis. Results: This study found that there were several steps to empower village communities to develop village health planning. Firstly, socialization about the process and establishing a Village Facilitator Team. Then, The VFT was be trained to increase their knowledge and skill about the village health program planning. The final step is a community meeting to identify the causes of illness and death and developing the village health program for dealing with the causes. Conclusion: community-led health planning process can be implemented in the village to increase the quality of the village health program,  especially in the remote or village areas.

Abstract

Background: Washing hands with soap is wrong for school children due to the child's lack of knowledge which is caused by a lack of exposure to information from schools, especially learning materials about proper and correct hand washing. School-age children are an age that is prone to various diseases, such as diarrhoea and worms. in 2018 the number of cases of diarrhoea in East Kolaka was 593. The largest cases of diarrhoea in East Kolaka District were in Lambandia District, with 187 cases of diarrhoea, the majority of which occurred in school-age children. To find out the effect of video and simulation counselling on children's knowledge about washing hands with soap at the Lambandia District Elementary School, East Kolaka. Methods: This study uses a quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental research design. This research was conducted in three SDN Lambandia District. The study population was school children with a sample of 70 children who were divided into two experimental groups and one control group. Sampling was done by a proportionate random sampling method. Result: The findings show from statistical tests that there is an effect of video and simulation on children's knowledge. This can be seen from p-value both of them are 0.000 < = 0.05. Conclusion: There was an effect of video screening and simulation on children's knowledge about washing hands with soap at the Lambandia District Elementary School, East Kolaka Regency.

Abstract

Background: Data on the achievement of minimum service standards at Bahteramas Hospital shows that several programs have not reached the specified Minimum Service Standards, namely the availability of facilities and operating equipment (34.37), customer satisfaction (74.04%) from the standard ?80%, time provision of medical records (30 minutes) from standard 10 minutes, completeness of informed concent (67.75%) of ?80%. Observing the development of human resources at the Bahteramas Hospital has not been carried out optimally, for example, such as a standardized selection and recruitment process, support for facilities, infrastructure and technology, individual commitment to organization, leadership commitment and employee work relations themselves. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors related to the quality of human resources at the Bahteramas Regional General Hospital, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Methods: Quantitative research using a cross sectional study design.The population in this study amounted to 981 people. The number of samples in this study were 277 people. The sample was determined by simple random sampling technique. The data were obtained using the testchi square. Result: The test results using the chi square statistical test, it is known that the value of the selection variable (22,378> 3,841), the value of the training variable (18,658> 3,841), the value of the individual commitment variable (38,863> 3,841), the value of the reward variable (51,784> 3,841), the value of the skill variable (94,713> 3,841). Conclusion: There is a relationship between selection and the quality of human resources, there is a relationship between training and the quality of human resources, there is a relationship between individual commitment and the quality of human resources, there is a relationship between reward and the quality of human resources, there is a relationship between skills and the quality of human resources.

Abstract

Background: The cases of Covid-19 disease continue to rise in Kendari city, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. In 2020, the task force of  Covid-19 cases reported there were about 3,736 people who got Covid-19 diseases in Southeast Sulawesi Province.To reduce the cases, the Indonesian government have prepared some of covid-19 vaccines. However, the majority of community in this Province are still hesitant to accept covid-19 vaccines. Therefore, this study aimed to understand the relationship between demographic factors and individual perception about covid-19 vaccines surrounding people in Southeast Sulawesi Province. Methods: This study was conducted since January 2020 until October 2020 in Southeast Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. This study recruited 210 respondents with 95% of interval confidence. Dependent variables were demographic factors which comprised age, sex, educational status, mariage status and occupation. Independent variable was individual perception about covid-19 vaccines. Data collection used Google form which was sent through WhattsApp of social media. Statistical analysis used chi-square test and Cramer’s test to understand significant association. Results: This study showed Sex had significant association with individual perception about covid-19 vaccines (P value=0.041<0.05; Cramer’s value=0.174). However, age, educational status, mariage status, and occupation were not associated significantly with the individual perception about covid-19 vaccines. Female had better perception than male about covid-19 vaccines. Conclusions: This study shows that female have more information than male about covid-19 vaccines. This is caused by several media to get information including female organizations in the village such as women organization, islamic women organization and social media groups. Women is more communicative than male.

Abstract

Background: An increase in the proportion of the elderly tends to be followed by an increase in health problems caused by degenerative processes. Data from the Kolaka District Health Officein 2019 the number of elderly was 14,440 and those who received health services were 3,547 (24.6%).The low level of health services for the elderly is caused by several factors. This research aims to analyzing the relationship between elderly behavior and compliance with visiting the Posyandu for the elderly in terms of health belief model theory in the Pomalaa Health Center area, Kolaka Regency. Methods: This type of research is a cross sectional study conducted from March to April 2021,the sample used are 256 respondents taken by simple random sampling. Result: Using Chi Square Test. The perceived value of vulnerability isX2count = 26,095 > X2table = 3.841, the value of perception of seriousness is X2count = 34,132 > X2table = 3.841, the value of perceived benefit is X2count = 47,026 > X2table = 3.841, the value of perceived obstacle isX2count = 83,542 > X2table = 3.841, the value of intention isX2count = 15.252 > X2table = 3.841. Conclusion: There is a relationship between perceptions of vulnerability, seriousness, benefits, barriers, and intentions with compliance with visiting the elderly at the elderly posyandu in the Pomalaa Health Center area, Kolaka Regency.

Abstract

Background: The prior  study for  20 students in  Public Middle School 1 Pasikolaga showed that 16 students (32.8%)  experienced dysmenorrhea, 3 students (1.46%) often experienced dysmenorrhea and 1 student never experienced dysmenorrhea. The objective of this study was to analyse the risk factor of stress and history of allergy to dysmenorrheal in adolescent students in Public Middle School 1 Pasikolaga. Methods: Quantitative research with analytical method with case control study design. The research location is Public Middle School 1 Pasiokolaga, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The population of all students from class VII to class IX is 205. The number of samples is 134 with a sampling technique usingstratified random sampling. Result: The results of data analysis obtained the value of Odds Ratio (OR) = 1.568, this means that stress with the incidence of dysmenorrhea has a 1.56 times greater risk of developing dysmenorrhea compared to respondents who do not have stress and the value of Odds Ratio (OR) = 1.459, this means history of allergy with dysmenorrhea has a risk of 1,459 times the occurrence of dysmenorrhea compared to respondents who do not have a history of allergies. Conclusion: Stress and history of allergies are risk factors for the incidence of dysmenorrhea in public of female students1 Pasikolaga.

Abstract

Background: The achievement of Covid-19 vaccination in Southeast Sulawesi Province until June 15, 2021 is 15.5%, while the City of Kendari has achieved Covid-19 vaccination reached 22%. The lack of information and public perception about the Covid-19 vaccine has led to low public acceptance of the Covid-19 vaccine. Therefore, this study aims to increase the community 's positive perception of the Covid-19 vaccination in Kendari City through  the most effective health promotion media. Methods: This quantative  study  uses a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population is 345,107 people, 396 respondents are sampled. This study uses a sampling technique by random cluster sampling. The hypothesis test used is the Wilcoxon signed ranks test and the Kruskal Wallis H test. Result: The results of the Wilcoxon test show that there is a significant difference between perceptions before and after health promotion using booklet media (Asymp. Sig. = 0.000); There is a significant difference between perceptions before and after health promotion using video media (Asymp. Sig. = 0.000); There is a significant difference between perceptions before and after health promotion through the development WhatsApp messages (Asymp. Sig. = 0.000). Based on the Kruskal Wallis H test, the mean rank of health promotion using booklets is the highest (217.59). There was no significant difference between the three media (Asymp. sig 0.156 > 0.05). Conclusion: The booklet is the most effective media in health promotion to increase the positive perception of the community towards the covid-19 vaccination in the city of Kendari, but there is no significant difference between the three promotional media used.

Abstract

Background: The preliminary study  revealed that there were main problems in the implementation of the 2020 Health Development Program related to Minimum health service standard. These problems such as the availability of human resources that greatly contribute to service management at the public health centre in the form of planning, mobilizing and implementing in achieving goals, in this case related to the quality and equitable distribution of health workers as the spearhead of program implementation which is the supervision and assessment of the public health centre so that it will influential in the process of service implementation management according to minimum service standars. This study aims to analyseThe relationship between human resourcesand planning with minimum coverage of health care services in Konawe Regency. Methods: This study uses a quantitative research design with a approachcross sectional study.The population is the entire person in charge of the minimum service standars of each public health centre in the working area of Konawe Regency, namely 42 respondents. The number of samples using the Slovin formula is 38 respondents with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. Result: There is a strong relationship between human resources, planning to the coverage of minimum service standards. Conclusion: Monitoring the minimum service standards and providing feedback on the results, conducting training and increasing the availability of health service facilities and infrastructure.
