<![CDATA[One of the basic abilities in learning mathematics is the ability of students to understand mathematics. Mathematical comprehension ability will develop other mathematical abilities, including communication, connection and problem-solving abilities. To be able to hone students 'mathematical abilities, a learning model is needed that is appropriate to the students' character and the material being taught. One learning model that can improve student learning outcomes is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subjects in this study were fifth grade in Elementary School. The instruments used in this study were tests and observation sheets of teacher and student activities. Based on the analysis of research data, it is concluded that CTL can improve the ability of mathematical understanding of fraction concept for elementary students. Thus, the use of CTL learning models can be used as an alternative learning to be applied to learning mathematics in elementary school especially on learning concept of fractions.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low character of the students of SDN 4 Pule and the lack of use of learning media in the teaching and learning process so that it does not attract the attention of students in the learning process at SDN 4 Pule. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning media explee interactive video-based as strengthening character education. This research process uses quantitative methods using a one group pretest posttest design. The population of fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pule is 40 students. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling. The sample in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pule. The instruments used by researchers in data collection are interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study used Paired Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 25.0 Software. The results of the different test showed that the significance value was 0.00 (< 0.05). So, there are differences before and after the use of learning media explee interactive video-based. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that media is explee interactive video-based effective as a strengthening of character education for SDN 4 Pule students.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the application of literacy based thematic teaching materials with a contextual approach to student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a type of quantitative research. The research design used in this study was Quasi Experimental Design with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. In the design of this study researchers used one experimental group with a control group that began with the pretest in each group. The results of this study found that the use of thematic teaching materials had a significant effect on student learning outcomes. Contextual based thematic teaching materials with a literacy approach can be used as supporting teaching materials in addition to the main teaching material.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak Penelitian dengan penggunaan ice breaking ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan dimana siswa kelas V mengalami kesulitan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika khususnya materi volume bangun ruang. Faktor penyebab pemahaman konsep rendah yaitu suasana pembelajaran kurang menyenangkan, akibatnya pembelajaran matematika semakin ditakuti oleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguji perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan ice breaking berbasis kearifan lokal jawa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V SDN 4 Pule. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif model pre-eksperimental type one group pretest-posttest. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu teknik sampel jenuh. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN 4 Pule, Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test dengan bantuan Software SPSS 25.0. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu melalui Uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0.00 < 0.05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh penerapan ice breaking berbasis kearifan lokal Jawa terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V di SDN 4 Pule. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan ice breaking berbasis kearifan lokal Jawa, serta Ice breaking mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas V SDN 4 Pule. Kata Kunci : Ice Breaking, Pemahaman Konsep Matematika. Abstract This research using ice breaking is motivated by the problem where fifth grade students have difficulty in understanding mathematical concepts, especially the volume material. The factor that causes low concept understanding is that the learning atmosphere is less pleasant, as a result, students are increasingly afraid of learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences before and after the application of ice breaking based on Javanese local wisdom in improving the understanding of mathematical concepts for fifth graders at SDN 4 Pule. The method used in this study is a quantitative pre-experimental model type one group pretest-posttest. The sampling technique used is the saturated sample technique. The sample of this research is all fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pule. The data analysis of this research used Paired Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 25.0 Software. The results obtained were through hypothesis testing, a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 was obtained, so that there was an effect of the application of ice breaking based on Javanese local wisdom on the understanding of mathematics concepts for fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pule. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there are differences before and after the use of ice breaking based on Javanese local wisdom, and Ice breaking is able to improve understanding of mathematical concepts for fifth grade students at SDN 4 Pule. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the ider-ider learning model based on Javanese local wisdom on humanistic literacy. The research method in this research is quantitative method, while the research design uses Quasi Experimental Design. The data collection technique in this study is to use a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis in this study used a comparative test. the results of the comparison test with the Wilcoxon formula obtained a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05). These results indicate that there is a difference between humanistic literacy before and after the application of the Ider-Ider Learning Model Based on Local Wisdom. This model will be able to provide understanding to students about the value of togetherness or humanism. Based on the results of the study showed that the ider-ider learning model based on Javanese local wisdom was effective in improving the humanistic literacy of elementary school students.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to see the effect of the implementation of literacy culture on improving the character of elementary school students. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The research design used in this study is quasi-experimental design with the design of one group Pretest-Posttest. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. Data analysis in this study used pair sample t-test with the help of SPSS 25.0. Based on the results of different tests using the Wilcoxon formula shows that the significance value is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Implementation of Literacy Culture on Improving Character of Elementary School Student.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kreatif siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Kemampuan menulis kreatif siswa sekolah dasar akan meningkat jika materi dan proses pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal akan memudahkan siswa untuk menrima pengetahuan yang diperoleh melalui proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Alur penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari empat kegiatan pokok, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Data-data verbal yang terkumpul ketika penelitian akan dianalisis oleh peneliti. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data hasil observasi, wawancara, dan hasil belajar siswa. Observasi dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran, sedangkan wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kemampuan siswa ketika proses menghasilkan menulis kreatif. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan 2 siklus yang telah didapatkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal yang diterapkan di dalam proses pembelajaran secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kreatif siswa, pada siklus pertama 83 % siswa memperoleh nilai ≤ 70, sedangkan pada siklus kedua ketika proses pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan kearifan lokal sebanyak 76 % siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ 70. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis kreatif siswa meningkatkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims was to investigate the metacognitive abilities of elementary school students. The subjects of this study were elementary school students and teachers from two districts namely Tulungagung and Trenggalek Regencies who had diverse scientific abilities. The data were collected through a questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through several steps: data collection, data refinement, data processing, data analysis, data analysis process, and conclusions of research results. The results of the study are the aspects of strategic knowledge that is the problems found in schools based on learning strategies that are often done by students, namely repetition. In the aspect of task knowledge it was found that students did not use the right learning strategies with the assignments given by the teacher. While the students' self-knowledge, students have different characteristics. There are students who excel in the academic and non-academic fields. So that each student has advantages and disadvantages both mastery of learning material and outside of learning. <![CDATA[The problems found in the field based on observations in the field are that the existing teaching materials do not attract students' interest and student learning outcomes are still low. The problem is the unavailability of teaching materials that are innovative and attract students to be motivated to learn. This causes students to have difficulty absorbing and understanding the material taught by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of implementing audiobook-based teaching materials on student learning outcomes. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research type with a quasi-experimental type. In this research design, the researcher used an experimental group with a control group, which was started by giving a pretest to each group. The population in this study were students at SDN 4 Pule, Trenggalek Regency. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, namely the sample used is fourth grade students at SDN 4 Pule, Trenggalek Regency. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interview guidelines, and tests. While the data analysis technique used is independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS 25.0 software. The results of this study indicate that the use of audiobook-based teaching materials has an effect on differences in student learning outcomes before and after the use of audiobook-based teaching materials, so audiobook-based teaching materials can improve learning outcomes and students become motivated in learning because students can understand the material without reading.]]>
