Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of monitoring loading and unloading of fuel oil to minimize the occurrence of load shrinkage. After conducting an evaluation of existing events, two main problems were found that occurred in the implementation of ISGOTT in MT. Nirbita, namely the problem of lack of supervision and accuracy of loading and unloading fuel oil resulting in load shrinkage. The occurrence of cargo depreciation on board the ship is a lack of proper supervision according to ISGOTT by Officer Deck for Abk during cargo operations. The occurrence of cargo losses is also due to the lack of accuracy of deck and abk officers in measuring cargo tanks and calculating cargo as well as standardization of loading and unloading equipment onboard resulting in less optimal operational cargo. Lack of understanding of matters relating to cargo operations, both those related to measuring instruments used on tanker ships, triggers cargo depreciation. There are three alternative solutions to problems, namely conducting safety meetings, conducting training, and supervising Abk's work in cargo operations. From the results of the evaluation of the three alternative solutions to the problem, it was found that each alternative has advantages and obstacles that will be faced in its application on board.

Abstract

Riset yang berjudul “Alat Praktek Fisika Dengan Kreativitas Sederhana ”bertujuan untuk menjawab semua persoalan yang ada di setiap sekolah yang berhubungan dengan kelengkapan alat peraga yang ada disetiap sekolah di Indonesia (sekarang). Terutama terfokus pada alat praktek konservatif dan non konservatif. Dengan memanfaatkan  bahan-bahan yang mudah didapat dan harganya juga murah. Bahan-bahannya seperti Terplek yang menjadi bahan dasar utama dalam alat peraga kemudian komponen lain seperti pegas,  beban, dan sebagainya.

Abstract

A flip-flop lamp has been created for sea safety, so as to minimize ship accidents, which means guaranteed sea security, protecting the marine ecosystem and maintaining sea cleanliness. The working principle of the flip-flop lamp is based on the concept of Ohm's law, Archimedes's law, and hydrostatic pressure. The time obtained to float the flip-flop lamp is 0.779 s, with a hydrostatic pressure of 2000 N / m, Flip-flop lights made for marine safety can float in water. From the data it can be that the 2000 N / m2 hydrostatic pressure takes 0.779 s, which means the tool can float completely in water because itdoes not take up to 1 second. this means it is ready to use at sea

Abstract

Sebagai Salah satu tugas guru sebagai pendidik professional di merdeka belajar adalah menilai hasil belajar siswa menekankan pada bakat dan minat siswa. Guru harus mampu mengerti tentang CBT (Computer Based Test) dan membuat soal HOTS (high order thinking skills) dalam menilai siswa menekankan ke bakat dan minat siswa. Perangkat penilaian pembelajaran berupa kisi-kisi penilaian, item butir soal tes berbasis HOTS (high order thinking skills), pedoman peskoran, dan pedoman penilaian. Berdasarkan realita di lapangan dan hasil survey awal di SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Labu, Deli serdang terdapat beberapa permasalahan terkait penilaian pembelajaran tersebut. Adapun permasalahan penilaian pembelajaran antara lain guru hanya fokus terhadap penilaian ranah kognitif saja, kemampuan guru dalam menyusun perangkat penilaian masih rendah, guru belum mampu menyusun item butir soal yang berkualitas, penilaian hanya berfokus pada hasil tanpa mempertimbangkan penilaian proses, dan penilaian yang dilakukan masih mengandung unsur subjektivitas. Berdasarkan hasil survei awal di SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Labu, Deli serdang guru-guru belum mampu menyusun perangkat penilaian pembelajaran dengan tepat. Banyak guru yang masih melakukan penilaian pada ranah kognitif saja dan mengabaikan penilaian afektif dan psikomotorik. Penyusunan item butir soal sebagai instrument penilaian ranah kognitif siswa juga belum tepat. Soal yang disusun guru sebagian besar masih menggunakan soal low order thinking skill (keterampilan berpikir rendah). Atas dasar itu dilakukan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan tujuan menyusun perangkat penilaian pembelajaran dengan tepat. PkM ini dilaksanakan pada 19 Mei 2022 melalui pelatihan tatap muka. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan ketrampilan guru terkait menyusun perangkat penilaian pembelajaran dengan tepat. Sebelum adanya pelatihan, rata-rata pemahaman guru tentang CBT (Computer Based Test) (computer based test) dan pembuatan soal HOTS (high order thinking skills) memperoleh nilai 60, sedangkan setelah diberi pelatihan menjadi 80. Keterampilan guru dalam membuat menyusun perangkat penilaian pembelajaran juga meningkat dibuktikan dengan produk berupa kisi-kisi penilaian, item butir soal tes berbasis HOTS (high order thinking skills), pedoman peskoran, dan pedoman penilaian yang wajib dibuat oleh peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

As for research purposes in General is to get an idea of the influence of the use of model learning enquiries and the use of computer-based media (CD Movie and Flash) against the results of student learning. This research will be carried out in the Laboratory of the Institute of Religious Aliyah Madrasa Islamic State North Sumatra Medan. Planned research time on bulam May-June 2009/2010 lessons in year II semester of Class XI. This research will be conducted with the implementation plan of learning 3 sessions conducted at the research and may be bulai terminated in June. This research involves two classes of experiments was given different treatment. On the experimental class 1 were given preferential treatment by the granting of inkuiri learning model with computer-based media (Flash Movie and CD) while in class experiments 2 conventional learning with computer-based media (CD Movie and Flash). To find out the results of the students' creativity and studied chemistry and obtained with the application of the treatment on two students are given tests. On the basis of the findings obtained were taken the following conclusion: there is the influence of learning model inkuiri with the use of computer-based media (CD Movie and flash) and conventional learning methods with computer-based media (CD Movie and flash) against the results of the study chemistry students at the MA State Islamic Institute Laboratory in North Sumatra Province of Medan. Students who are taught with a learning model inkuiri with the use of computer-based media (CD and flash Movie) has a higher learning outcomes of the students in belajarkan with conventional learning methods with computer-based media (A flash Movie and CD).Keywords: Inkuiri Learning Computer-Based Media, The Results Of The Study

Abstract

Komponen penting yang harus dikuasai oleh dosen dalam melaksanakan pembelajran adalah pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran dan menerapkannya di dalam kelas sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang ada dalam perangkat. Pernagkat pembelajaran terdiri dari silabus, RPP, RPS, bahan ajar, media dan instrumen penilaian. Dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dosen menyusun perangkat pembelajaran dilakukan pelatihan secara individu terhadap dosen di Akademi Maritim Belawan (AMB) Medan. Dalam pelatihan tersebut digunakan model pembelajaran tidak terarah, diman model pembelajaran ini bisa diterapkan kepada seluruh jenjang umur. Dalam penelitian ini tindakan yang dilakukan adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pembelajaran terhadap dosen latih diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata observasi pembelajaran dari 71,85% menjadi 84,44%.

Abstract

This study aims to get a value of the effectiveness of students in learning analytical chemistry. The subjects carried out in this study were 30 Tanjungbalai Polytechnic students. The method used is to analyze the pre-test and post-test as well as data on the frequency distribution of the G factor. From the results of the study it can be concluded as follows 1). The value of the pre-test results showed that out of 30 students there was 1 person (3.33%) with the highest score with a score of 74. For 29 people (97.67%) were declared not to have passed because the score was below 74. 2). The standard deviation value is 6.33 with a variance of 40.110. 3). the posttest score of 5 people with the highest score of 90 with a percentage of 16.67%, and 83.33% showed a score below 90 and passed the PBL Chemistry Analysis lesson. The conclusion from the results of the increased learning outcomes in the analytical chemistry course was obtained that the g factor value was 0.56 in the moderate category and a percentage of 56.16% in the quite effective category.Keywords: Analytical chemistry; Learning improvement results; PBL model; Learning outcomes

Abstract

Pemahaman dalam menggunakan aplikasi mendeley sebagai manajemen refrensi pada taruna-taruni yang minim menjadi kendala dalam penulisan tugas akhir untuk melakukan pengutipan serta menyusun daftar pustaka sehingga menghindari plagiat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat untuk membantu taruna-taruni dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi mendeley sehingga mampu melakukan pengutipan refrensi serta menghasilkan penulisan tugas akhir yang sesuai dengan ketentuan akademis. Subjek pengabdian ini adalah semua taruna-taruni tingkat akhir yang berjumlah 55 orang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, pendampingan dan praktek. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi mendeley membantu memudahkan peserta dalam melakukan pengutipan dan pembuatan daftar pustaka untuk tugas akhir.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan, desain produk imelalui empat tahap: (1) pendefinisian, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) diseminasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Pada tahap uji coba, produk divalidasi oleh ahli media dan materi serta diujicoba oleh pengguna (taruna). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif, dengan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Ahli media mengklasifikasikan skor keseluruhan 83,33 sebagai media pembelajaran sangat baik. (2) Berdasarkan ahli materi memberikan skor keseluruhan 71,53 pada kategori yang sesuai digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. (3) untuk rata-rata, nilai keseluruhan 75,90 dengan kategori “sangat ilayak” digunakan untuk media pembelajaran. Pada hasil di atas, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android pada materi reaksi kimia dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

To effectively address the growing complexity of living conditions, its crucial to use a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach. Engaging with experts from many scientific fields s crucial for finding tailored answers to complex problems that require knowledge from multiple disciplines. Library research s utilised to investigate and clarify data. This inquiry utilises literature the form of rules to assess the value and character education higher education from a general education perspective. The aim of this study s to examine and offer arguments concerning the subjects of value and character education higher education institutions Indonesia, focusing on the perspective of general education. Here s a brief overview of the findings from this investigation: General education, sometimes known as "liberal education," provides unique answers that are not accessible in other academic disciplines. Moreover, general education has the ability to bring together different academic fields by examining the fundamental concepts of science, which are closely connected to morals and ethics. General education hinders the scientific community's ability to protect tself from other scientific fields or engage in conflicts with each other by presuming that science has any moral or ethical principles. The core focus of general education lies an cultivating values and character, which empower persons who have undergone general education to develop a well-rounded personality and acquire extensive knowledge across various disciplines. This research s expected to encourage individuals to embrace a more open-minded outlook on the accessibility of many areas of study, therefore avoiding the limitation of confining oneself to their present expertise. To be competitive in the constantly changing and sophisticated world, humans must cultivate an enduring inclination to acquire knowledge and engage in continuous study.
