Abstract

This research is motivated by students' low interest in learning because in the teaching and learning process teachers tend to use tools in the form of simple media, making it less interesting for students to pay attention to. This research aims to determine the effect of audio-visual media on class IV students' interest in learning in SBdP subjects. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 166 Palembang which is located on Jl. Rimba Kemuning Lr. Buyut, Kemuning District, Palembang City, South Sumatra. This research is a type of experimental research, namely the Quasi Experimental Design type. The population and sample in this study were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 166 Palembang, totaling 29 students in the control class and 26 students in the experimental class. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research include Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Hypothesis Test. The results of this research are hypothesis testing showing that t count ≥ t table or 4.706 ≥ 1.674 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an influence of audio visual media on class IV students' interest in learning in SBdP subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran diorama pada materi sistem tata surya di kelas IV SD yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas VI SD Negeri 100 Palembang. Validasi dilakukan oleh 3 orang ahli yaitu ahli media, bahasa, dan materi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi aspek materi memperoleh nilai 83,7% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek media memperoleh nilai sebesar 90,6% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan dilakukan dengan uji coba one to onedengan populasi sebanyak 3 orang dan small group sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil angket kepraktisan one to one memperoleh nilai sebesar 91,3% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan angket small group memperoleh nilai sebesar 92,8% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media diorama yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN 11 Palembang. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, namely pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study consisted of two classes, namely class IV.C as the control group and class IV.A as the experimental group. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average pretest and posttest scores in the control class were 53 and 75.50, respectively, while in the experimental class it increased from 52.86 to 86.67. The t-test produced a t-value of 2.688, which is greater than the t-table of 2.022, indicating that there is a significant effect of using audio-visual media on learning outcomes of Indonesian. Thus, audio-visual media is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Conceptual change is a fundamental goal of science learning, particularly in elementary teacher education, where preservice teachers’ understanding of scientific concepts directly influences their future instructional practices. This study aimed to examine the relationship between gender and students’ conceptual change in science learning implemented through the RADEC (Read–Answer–Discuss–Explain–Create) learning model assisted by a virtual laboratory. A correlational research design was employed involving first-semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program at a private university in South Sumatra. Data were collected using a four-tier conceptual change test on magnetism concepts. The sample comprised 39 students selected through random sampling, including 34 female and 5 male students. Students’ conceptual change was analyzed using normalized gain (N-gain), while the relationship between gender and conceptual change was examined using Pearson correlation analysis with SPSS version 26. The results indicated a statistically significant relationship between gender and students’ conceptual change in the implementation of the RADEC model assisted by a virtual laboratory (r = 0.190, p < 0.05). However, the strength of the correlation is weak, indicating that gender is not a major determinant of students’ conceptual development. Future research is recommended to explore additional factors influencing conceptual change, including prior knowledge, learning motivation, and student engagement, to better understand the determinants of students’ conceptual development.

Abstract

This devotion was carried out at SD Negeri 16 Indralaya Utara, Palembang City. This service is aimed to elementary school teachers in using augmented reality (AR)-based learning media through the assemblr application. This service uses training methods and practices. This service concluded that the knowledge of elementary school teachers about the use of augmented reality (AR)-based learning media through the assemblr application increased before and after training and practice. This increase can be seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 16 Indralaya Utara Kota Palembang. Pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk melatih guru-guru Sekolah Dasar dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) melalui aplikasi assemblr. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dan praktik. Pengabdian ini disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan guru-guru Sekolah Dasar tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) melalui aplikasi assemblr meningkat sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dan praktik. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari perbandingan nilai pre tes dan post tes.
