Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Honda di SMK Negeri 1 Lahat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Dalam model evaluasi ini terbagi empat tahap yaitu: Context Evaluation, Input Evaluation, Process Evaluation dan Product Evaluation. Pelaksanaan Kurukulum Honda pada Paket Keahlian Teknik Sepeda Motor di SMK Negeri 1 Lahat sudah berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai ratarata TPR 81,00%.

Abstract

The primary emphasis of the research is on how to use hydrogen as an energy source for motorcycle fuel. This is an intriguing hypothesis to explore since, at the moment, fossil energy is used to meet fuel demands, although fossil energy supplies are running limited. As a result, hydrogen energy is an option that may be employed as a fuel substitute utilizing commercial water raw materials and the electrolysis method. The research goal is to demonstrate that electrolysis of water to hydrogen gas may occur while the vehicle is in use, to compute the amount of hydrogen gas generated, and to determine the time the vehicle can be utilized using the gas fuel created. The long-term goal of this study is to create a vehicle powered entirely by hydrogen gas produced by water electrolysis, particularly for motorcycles. The experimental approach was employed in this investigation, with three phases of testing on a carburetor-type motorbike utilizing 1, 2, and 3 liters of Pertamax gasoline. The results demonstrated that the process of electrolysis of water into hydrogen gas on motorcycles is possible; however, the amount of gas generated is still quite little. The hydrogen gas generated by this electrolysis method is only 0.06 bar when 1 liter of fuel is used, 0.42 bar when 2 liters of fuel are used, and 0.98 bar when 3 liters of fuel are used.

Abstract

Tanaman sereh merupakan salah satu komoditas agraris yang berpotensi di dalam meningkatkan kualitas perekonomian Indonesia, khususnya melalui produksi minyak atsiri. Saat ini, Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara pengekspor minyak atsiri terbesar di skala internasional. Sebagai salah satu desa yang memiliki banyak perkebunan tanaman sereh, Desa Sungai Jalau memiliki potensi di dalam berkontribusi bagi Indonesia untuk menghasilkan minyak sereh. Desa Sungai Jalau memiliki satu unit proses penyulingan minyak atsiri yang beroperasi secara berkala yang terdiri dari beberapa perangkat yang tersusun secara terintegrasi: ruang pembakaran, tungku penyulingan, kolom penukar panas, dan pemisah gravitasi. Saat analisa awal dilakukan, proses penyulingan tersebut masih belum optimal. Efisiensi energi masih dipandang rendah akibat kebocoran uap dari tungku. Di samping itu, ampas hasil ekstraksi masih menumpuk dan tidak dikelola dengan baik. Optimasi proses dilakukan dengan mendesain ulang tungku dan meneliti kandungan organik dan inorganik di dalam ampas guna menentukan manfaat ampas tersebut. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kebocoran aliran uap berkurang dan kuantitas rendeman minyak atsiri meningkat. Di samping itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan semangat kelompok usaha lain di Desa Sungai Jalau untuk turut berkontribusi di dalam memproduksi minyak atsiri dari tanaman sereh.

Abstract

The shift from Petrol powered vehicles to electric vehicles, especially motorcycles, is ongoing. Although this has many benefits, such as reducing air pollution, a problem arises in the form of unused Old Year Petrol-powered Motorcycles, which can become environmental waste. In facing this problem, the idea arose to convert unused petrol-powered motorcycles into electric motorcycles. The main goal is that unused Petrol-powered motorcycles can be reused by replacing their engines with electric engines. The results of the vehicle speed test, the maximum speed obtained by the Electric vehicle is 40 km / h, while for the Torque and Power of the Electric motorcycle were tested using a dynotest tool with the highest Torque results obtained at 1867 rpm of 7.17 Nm and the lowest torque at 2500 rpm with a result of 0.54 Nm. For the highest Power obtained at 1903 rpm with a result of 1.9 HP and the lowest power obtained at 2500 rpm with a result of 0.2 HP.

Abstract

Light vehicle engine maintenance is an important subject in automotive vocational education. However, several problems need to be overcome, such as the lack of student involvement in learning, which creates a gap between theoretical and practical learning. To overcome this problem, a project-based learning implementation plan (LIP) was developed which has been proposed as an approach capable of integrating theory and practice, as well as increasing student involvement in learning. This research aims to evaluate the practicality of product development in the form of a project-based LIP on light vehicle engine maintenance. This study uses an RD approach as well as the ADDIE model procedure. The subjects in this study were 5 experts who came from productive teachers. The instruments used are interview sheets for observation activities and instruments in the form of response questionnaires to obtain product practicality data. The analysis technique at the practicality criteria level uses a practicality value formula in percentage form. The research results have found that the practicality of the product implementation plan for project-based learning in light vehicle engine maintenance learning is based on teacher responses which have been analyzed so that it is stated in the convenient category. This study concludes that the project-based lesson plan developed has high practicality in learning light vehicle engine maintenance. Further research can test the effectiveness of project-based learning implementation plans on a larger scale by involving more students and educational institutions and integrating modern technologies such as augmented reality or virtual reality into the learning implementation plans.

Abstract

This study focuses on the modification of the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system on the Mio electric motorcycle. The modification process begins with changing the angle of the front pulley and changing the working system of the rear pulley, this modification significantly improves the performance of the electric motorcycle. Tests show that the standard CVT produces a maximum torque of 7.17 Nm at 1867 RPM and a peak power of 1.9 HP at 1903 RPM. Then the modified CVT with a front pulley tilt of 13.5 ° reaches a maximum torque of 10.57 Nm at 1842 RPM and a peak power of 2.8 HP at 1949 RPM, while the fixed pulley configuration produces the highest torque of 17.19 Nm at 1487 RPM and a peak power of 3.9 HP at 1851 RPM. These results show the potential of modifying the automatic transmission system to increase torque and power as well as increase acceleration and efficiency in electric vehicles.

Abstract

Based on business development in the Tanjung Enim Briquette work unit related to the production of Activated Carbon and Carbon Anodes, to support production, work efficiency is needed on the heavy equipment unit, namely Wheel Loaders. In addition, by obtaining work efficiency data, it is possible to evaluate the work of the wheel loader in its operations at the Tanjung Enim Briquette Factory PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. So that there is an increase and optimization of the work/operational quality of the Wheel Loader to achieve the production target. At the Tanjung Enim Briquette factory itself the wheel loader unit plays an important role in supporting the production of Carbonized Briquettes, Non-Carbonized and serves various types of work in the briquette factory such as filling hopper, material mixing or blending, transporting clay and loading raw coal stock. The data collection process for 16 days started on August 2 until August 27, 2021 with the average wheel loader working efficiency of 86.12% in the good category.

Abstract

Energi terbarukan merupakan energi yang dihasilkan dari sumber daya energi yang secara alamiah tidak akan habis atau cepat dipulihkan dan prosesnya berkelanjutan jika dikelola dengan baik. Energi matahari ini juga dapat dirubah menjadi energi listrik, Sel surya merupakan suatu sumber energi listrik yang memanfaatkan cahaya matahari sebagai sumber energi. . Panel surya atau Photovoltaic (PV) adalah teknologi yang berfungsi untuk mengubah atau mengkonversi radiasi matahari menjadi energi listrik secara langsung. Jumlah energi yang begitu besar yang dihasilkan dari sinar matahari membuat sel surya menjadi alternative sumber energi masa depan yang sangat menjanjikan. Penggunaan energi surya untuk menggerakkan Becak Listrik adalah menjadi topik pada penelitian. Becak listrik dapat bermanfaat untuk kendaran niaga atau angkut barang. Rancang bangun ini dimulai dari menentukan spesifikasi komponen yang akan digunakan sampai menguji jarak tempuh kendaraan tersebut, dari hasil pengujian didapat data Jarak tempuh yang dihasilkan becak listrik tanpa beban tambahan sejauh 32,2 km dengan waktu tempuh 2 jam 40 menit, Sedangkan jarak tempuh becak lisrik setelah diberi beban tambahan 60 kg sejauh 20,1 km dengan waktu tempuh 2 jam dan dengan beban 80 kg jarak tempuh sejauh 13 km dengan waktu tempuh 1 jam 50 menit. Artinya semakin berat beban yang diangkut becak listrik maka akan semakin dekat jarak tempuh yang dihasilkan.Kata kunci: Energi terbarukan, Panel surya, Becak listrik, Kendaraan niaga

Abstract

Heavy equipment is a tool that functions to transport or move materials in a large capacity and in a relatively short time. The use of heavy equipment is also a way to increase company productivity. One example of heavy equipment used by the east block of the PT. Bukit Asam Tbk is a Bulldozer. According to the penambang.com website, the Bulldozer is a crawler tractor that is useful for digging, displacing, pushing soil and pulling an object, which can be operated by rocky, hilly, and mud fields in various work sectors such as mining, construction, logging, industrial plantation forests (forestry) and plantations. This study aims to find out how to determine the effectiveness of bulldozer work, find out what factors affect the effectiveness of bulldozer work and find out the percentage of bulldozer work effectiveness and coal production results on the circuit in the OPB 4 PT stockpile area. Bukit Asam Tbk. Final results display data in the form of bulldozer working time tables and coal delivery report data as well as operating and working hours graphs and coal delivery charts.
