Abstract

Global Putra Swasembada is a company that distributes broiler chickens with a market area in Pekanbaru City. During the distribution process, the vehicle still has remaining capacity, which should be used to load customer orders in other areas. So, the number of tours formed and the number of vehicles used increases, which results in high distribution costs. An effective and efficient distribution method is needed to optimize distribution routes. The research uses the nearest-neighbour method to determine new routes. The results show that the distance of the existing route, which was previously 151.3 km, became 128.8 km, saving 22.5 km. The previous number of vehicles using 4 to 3 optimal vehicles. After calculating the distribution costs, the company paid the cost of Rp. 28,590,800 became Rp. 21,744,000, then there is a reduction in costs of Rp—6,846,800 or 14% every month.

Abstract

The shift from Petrol powered vehicles to electric vehicles, especially motorcycles, is ongoing. Although this has many benefits, such as reducing air pollution, a problem arises in the form of unused Old Year Petrol-powered Motorcycles, which can become environmental waste. In facing this problem, the idea arose to convert unused petrol-powered motorcycles into electric motorcycles. The main goal is that unused Petrol-powered motorcycles can be reused by replacing their engines with electric engines. The results of the vehicle speed test, the maximum speed obtained by the Electric vehicle is 40 km / h, while for the Torque and Power of the Electric motorcycle were tested using a dynotest tool with the highest Torque results obtained at 1867 rpm of 7.17 Nm and the lowest torque at 2500 rpm with a result of 0.54 Nm. For the highest Power obtained at 1903 rpm with a result of 1.9 HP and the lowest power obtained at 2500 rpm with a result of 0.2 HP.

Abstract

Modifikasi sistem CVT dengan merubah pegas dari sistem penggerak dengan tujuan agar kinerja mesin lebih bertenaga dan tarikannya lebih ringan. Hasil penelitian pegas CVT standar, torsi maksimum 29,51 NM diputaran 7500 Rpm, torsi minimum 8,80 NM di Rpm 1750 dan daya maksimum 9,8 HP di Rpm 4043, Rpm 1750 hingga 2250 Rpm sudah mencapai peak power. Bahan bakar pertalite 200 ml, di run selama 1 menit di Rpm 6000 tersisa 180 ml. Tinggi pegas 94,3 mm, diameter luar 57,2 mm, diameter dalam 46,1 mm, jumlah lilitan 6 dan diameter pegas 5, 4 mm. Pegas variasi Rpm 1000 torsi maksimum 20,25 NM di Rpm 2913. Daya maksimum 9,9 HP di Rpm 3903, Rpm 1750 hingga 2250 Rpm sudah mencapai peak power. Tinggi pegas 117, 4 mm, diameter luar 58, 5 mm, diameter dalam 50,2 mm, jumlah lilitan 6 dan diameter pegas 5, 8 mm. Pegas dengan variasi 1500 Rpm, torsi maksimum 26,83 NM pada Rpm 2560, torsi menurun di Rpm 2750 sebesar 26,46 NM. Daya maksimum 10,2 HP di Rpm 2949. Putaran 2000 Rpm hingga 2750 Rpm sudah mencapai peak power. Tinggi pegas 119, 2 mm, diameter luar 59,4 mm, diameter dalam 51,2 mm, jumlah lilitan 6 dan diameter pegas 5,6 mm. Kesimpulan pegas CVT 1500 Rpm lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan standar karena tinggi pegas antara variasi kedua inilah yang menyebabkan perbedaan antara torsi dan daya dipengaruhi oleh diameter menyebabkan rata-rata torsi dan daya yang dihasilkan lebih besar, sedangkan konsumsi bahan bakar tidak saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain

Abstract

Kegagalan pengereman atau rem blong merupakan penyebab umum kecelakaan yang sering terjadi. Muatan berlebih (overloading) dan temperatur tromol yang tinggi (overheating) sering dicurigai sebagai pemicu utama kegagalan pengereman. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pengaruh muatan sumbu roda dan temperatur tromol terhadap efisiensi sistem pengereman pada mobil Toyota Avanza. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan variasi tromol standar dan tromol yang telah dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengujian pengereman, temperatur pada tromol yang telah dimodifikasi menggunakan pendingin air lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan tromol konvensional, dengan perbedaan mencapai 30%. Perbedaan temperatur semakin signifikan ketika temperatur kerja rem mencapai di atas 100°C. Tromol water cooler brake bekerja dengan efektif untuk menahan peningkatan temperatur rem dengan cara menyebarkan panas dari kampas rem ke sirip-sirip tromol melalui perantara air pendingin. Penggunaan cairan pendingin berupa air biasa atau radiator kurang efektif karena rentan mengalami penurunan cepat akibat penguapan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang peningkatan efisiensi pengereman melalui modifikasi tromol dengan pendingin air, yang dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi risiko kegagalan pengereman akibat muatan berlebih dan temperatur tromol yang tinggi.

Abstract

Conventional handling of biomass waste, such as burning biomass, can cause other problems, and is not effective. Another common handling method is utilizing biomass waste. Second, conventional handling does not significantly reduce the amount of biomass waste. Microwave heating uses several power parameters and activation time to determine the effect of power and activation time on iodine number and surface area [25]. Activated charcoal is used as a raw material because it is hard charcoal and has good quality, and microwaves are used because it saves energy and time. Microwave treatment to study the effect of concentration and time of microwave irradiation separately on iodine number and adsorption capacity. The results of the FTIR spectra show that activated carbon has an –OH group. The results of the adsorption test showed that the activated carbon that had been prepared was able to absorb ions at the optimum concentration. Adsorption isotherm studies were carried out using the Langmuir equation. Microwave irradiation time also has a significant effect on the quality of activated carbon in the microwave irradiation time range
