Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of innovative learning methods in the Islamic education (ISE) subject on learning motivation, learning activity, and learning achievement of students in the elementary and secondary schools in Indonesia. This study employed the meta-analysis method which is among the quantitative research approach. There were 47 literatures that eligible to be included in the database. Results revealed that, for the learning motivation variable, effect size value in the form of odds ratio was significantly higher than 1.0 (average 3.008 [2.020-4.480]; P<0.001). For the learning activity variable, effect size value was significantly higher than 1.0 (average 2.905 [2.113-3.994]; P<0.001). For the learning achievement variable, effect size value was significantly higher than 1.0 (average 4.941 [4.136-5.903]; P<0.001). These indicated that innovative learning methods were able to elevate learning motivation, activity and achievement. There were no significant differences among the categories within most of the sub-groups, except for the sub-group of cycle, in which cycle 2 showed higher learning achievement than that of cycle 1 (P<0.05). It can be concluded that innovative learning methods are able to elevate learning motivation, learning activity, and learning achievement of students at elementary and secondary schools to study the Islamic education subject. Future work should address the interaction between each particular innovative learning method and the ISE specific topic.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThis study was conducted to determine (1) the intensity of Islamic religious education in the family, (2) to determine the learning achievement of students' Islamic religious education. (3) To find out whether there is a relationship between the intensity of Islamic religious education and the learning achievement of class VII students of SMP Negeri 18 Tangerang. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 18 Tangerang. The research method used is a survey method which leads to hypothesis testing. The population in this study was class VII students who found 107 students, with a sample of 84 students, having been tested for validity and reliability. A total of 20 questions about the intensity of Islamic religious education in the family and learning achievement of Islamic religious education. Based on careful calculations, the value of r_(count )= 3,424. These results are then consulted with r_(table ) both at the 5% significance level for the two-tailed test and df = n-2 or 84-2 = 82, if r_(count) > r_(table) then it is significant. From hypothesis testing, it is obtained that r_(table ) is 0.2146 with it being said that t_(count )> t_(table ) (3.424 > 0.2146). In conclusion, there is a relationship between the intensity of Islamic religious education in the family with Islamic religious education learning for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Tangerang

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa dikenal adanya empat komponen keterampilan berbahasa, yaitu keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Keempat komponen ini memiliki saling keterkaitan antara satu dan lainnya dan tidak dapat dipisahkan. Kemampuan menulis memberikan makna yang penting untuk berkomunikasi secara tidak langsung dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis, dalam penelitan ini digunakan tenik Teratai dengan model Pailkem. Melihat kemampuan menulis siswa kelas XI Sosial 4 SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti masih tergolong rendah, maka penelitian ini sangat perlu untuk dilakukan. Permasalahan yang terungkap adalah siswa belum berani tampil mengeluarkan ide-ide yang dimilikinya dalam menulis naskah drama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Tindakan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tiga siklus. Tiap siklus dilakukan secara bertahap yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu, (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, pengamatan (observasi) dan, (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Sosial IV SMA YPPK Taruna Bakti. Data penelitian diambil dengan tes dan nontes. Pengambilan data melalui tes yaitu paktek menulis naskah drama, sedangkan pengambilan data melalui nontes berupa lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian, pembelajaran kemampuan menulis siswa menggunakan teknik Teratai dan Pailkem, mengalami peningkatan bila dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada penelitian awal prasiklus yang hanya mencapai 66,12%. Pada siklus I peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa mencapai 71,70%, dan siklus II tingkat kemampuan menulis naskah drama 81, 03%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan tingkat kemampuan menlis naskah drama siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan teknik Teratai dan model Pailkem

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the extent to which job satisfaction moderates the effect of work safety and health on employee performance at PT. SS. The method used is associative with a quantitative approach, employing moderation regression analysis. The sample size is 92 individuals, and data analysis was conducted using moderation regression tests, the coefficient of determination, and hypothesis significance testing (t-test). The results of the study indicate that work safety and health have a significant impact on employee performance at PT. SS. Therefore, the company must implement work safety and health measures. However, job satisfaction does not moderate the effect of work safety and health on employee performance. Job satisfaction has not strengthened the impact of work safety and health on performance, meaning the rates of workplace accidents and occupational diseases have not been reduced by the interaction of job satisfaction with work safety and health on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the extent to which compensation moderates the impact of the implementation of Fixed-Term Employment Agreements and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. XYZ. The research method used is associative with a quantitative approach, utilizing moderation regression analysis. The sample consists of 97 employees, and data analysis includes moderation regression tests, determination coefficients, and hypothesis significance testing (t-tests). The results show that Fixed Time Employment Agreement has an insignificant effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the implementation of the Fixed Time Employment Agreement, even when reinforced by compensation, does not significantly enhance employee performance at PT. XYZ. Additionally, compensation does not significantly moderate the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance at PT. XYZ.
