Abstract

Ketika pandemi Covid-19 berkembang di seluruh dunia, pemerintah, lembaga internasional, pembuat kebijakan dan pejabat kesehatan masyarakat mulai merekomendasikan penggunaan masker kain nonmedis secara luas untuk mengurangi penularan SARS-CoV-2. Selama pandemi Covid-19, penggunaan masker kain meningkat drastis karena kelangkaan masker medis. Oleh karena meningkatnya kebutuhan akan penggunaan masker dan pentingnya edukasi penggunaan masker kepada masyarakat melatarbelakangi kegiatan edukasi penggunaan masker dan pembagian masker kain untuk pencegahan penularan Covid-19 di Kota Palu. Pembagian masker kain sebanyak ±1000 masker kain dan edukasi penggunaan masker kain kepada pada pembeli dan pedagang di Pasar Tua Bambaru Kota Palu. Educator dari Dosen dan Staf Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu sebanyak 30 Orang. Masker kain yang dibagikan merupakan bantuan dari Badan PPSDM Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 03 September 2020 di Kota Palu. Penggunaan masker secara langsung dipraktikkan educator dan diikuti oleh (pembeli dan pedagang) masyarakat di Kota Palu. Pelaksanaan edukasi pengunaan masker dan pembagian masker kain dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Masyarakat menerima edukasi pengunaan masker serta menggunakan langsung masker kain yang dibagikan

Abstract

The Healthy Community Movement (Germas) is a systematic and planned action that is carried out jointly by all components of the nation with awareness, willingness and ability to behave in a healthy manner to improve the quality of life. The purpose of community service is the socialization of healthy community movement in the era of adaptation to new habits of Covid-19 in collaboration with the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu with Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives in Amurang, South Minahasa, North Sulawesi. The Participatory Action Research activity method is in the form of socialization and education based on theory and practice related to proper and proper hand washing, proper and proper use of masks, distribution of masks, hand sanitizers and soap and COVID-19 vaccination. The Healthy Community Movement socialization presented resource person Felly Estelita Runtuwene, SE Chair of Commission IX DPR RI in Amurang, South Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, Monday, October 23, 2021. The participants were 200 people from the South Minahasa community, North Sulawesi Province. After the socialization activity, participants understood Germas better during the Covid-19 period. Implementation of healthy community movement socialization in the Era of Adaptation to New Covid-19 Habits The collaboration between the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu in Palu and Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives in Amurang, Minahasa, South, North Sulawesi, went well and public health achievements increased.   ABSTRAK Germas merupakan suatu tindakan sistematis dan terencana yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama oleh seluruh komponen bangsa dengan kesadaran, kemauan dan kemampuan berperilaku sehat untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat adalah sosialisasi Germas di era adaptasi kebiasaan baru Covid-19 kerjasama Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu dengan Komisi IX DPR RI di Amurang Minahasa Selatan Sulawesi Utara. Metode kegiatan Participatory Action Research berupa sosialisasi dan edukasi berbasis teori dan praktik terkait cara mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar, cara memakai masker yang baik dan benar, pembagian masker, hand sanitizer dan sabun serta vaksinasi covid-19. Sosialisasi Germas menghadirkan narasumber Felly Estelita Runtuwene, SE Ketua Komisi IX DPR RI di Amurang Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan Sulawesi Utara pada Senin 23 Oktober 2021. Peserta sebanyak 200 orang berasal dari masyarakat Minahasa Selatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Setelah kegiatan sosialisasi, peserta semakin memahami Germas di masa Covid-19. Pelaksanaan Sosialisasi Germas di Era Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru Covid-19 Kerjasama Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu dengan Komisi IX DPR RI di Amurang Minahasa Selatan Sulawesi Utara berjalan dengan baik dan capaian kesehatan masyarakat meningkat.

Abstract

Monday, July 13th, 2020, Flash floods and landslides have hit the Masamba area, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. The large number of victims and urgent needs and in order to ease the burden on the victims, the Academic Community of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu initiated a community service program in Masamba Regency. The purpose of this community service is to show the real action of the social care of the entire Civitas Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu to every disaster that occurs. The Humanitarian Aid Team of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu consists of 15 lecturers, staff and students of the Poltekkes Kemenkes palu. The method of implementing this service has four stages including planning to find funds, purchasing the needs of disaster victims, distributing assistance and the last stage, namely meeting the needs of victims. The aid was handed over by the Director of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu, Palu through the Head of the Center for Research and Community Service to the Head of Disaster Prevention and Management Agency at the Emergency Response Command Post for Flash Floods and Landslides, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province on July 21, 2020 at the Central Disaster Management Command Post. Masamba Regency, East Luwu, South Sulawesi. The provision of Humanitarian Aid can be carried out properly. Communities victims of Flash floods as beneficiaries have received the assistance. It is recommended for this activity more team members so that the distribution of aid is wider and provides more opportunities for students to get directly involved in humanitarian activities

Abstract

The preparation of individual equipment in reproductive health mitigation during disasters is not known by the community. The people of Sibalaya Village have never received education on reproductive health mitigation kits during disasters. The purpose of community service is to prepare the community in reproductive health mitigation during disasters in Sibalaya Village, Tanambulawa Sub-district, Sigi, Central Sulawesi. The service method is health education and demonstration on reproductive health mitigation kits. The service was carried out in North and South Sibalaya Villages, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, from October 19 to October 24, 2022. The target audience are pregnant women, mothers with toddlers, adolescent girls, and couples of reproductive age, with a total of 38 participants. The education media used a PowerPoint presentation with an LCD projector. Evaluation was conducted through pre and post-tests using a questionnaire. The service results showed that 100% of participants knew about the risk groups during disasters, >70% knew about the color of the kit, 92.11% knew about the contents of the kit, and 97.37% knew about the availability of transportation during referrals. The post-test was conducted by asking participants directly, and those who answered correctly were given a reproductive health mitigation kit as a prize. Two participants were able to demonstrate the use of the mitigation kit. The conclusion of the service is that there is an increase in knowledge, and participants can demonstrate the use of reproductive health mitigation kits. It is recommended to form a village reproductive health mitigation team and provide training.
