Abstract

Career is a job or position which is taken or hold by a person in his work life. For many people, that job is a part of precise constituted planning. If a company wants to survive in this turbulance changing environment, its human resources have to be improved. A paradigm shift in managing an organization will influence the next career management to face 21st century.

Abstract

Human resources are a resource that has its own characteristics because it has emotions and thoughts. Emotions and thoughts that arise can affect employee job satisfaction and employee loyalty level of employment as human resources. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and obtain empirical evidence of the influence of empowerment and workplace environment to job satisfaction and employee’s job loyalty. This research is a quantitative research with three hypotheses to be tested. The sample used in this study are 200 respondents who are employees of MSMEs in Madura and Surabaya. Relevant data in this research are 50 data from 200 respondents to be processed. Independent variables used are employee empowerment and workplace environment, the first dependent variable is job satisfaction and second dependent variable that is employee work loyalty. The results of the tested on the employees of MSME showed that the two independent variables have a positive effect on the first dependent variable and the first dependent variable also positively affects the second dependent variable

Abstract

The development of modern technology has an impact on life that is becoming more practical, fast and economical. Along with the development of these technologies, the existence of modern retail business becomes increasingly important because of the shift in spending patterns of people who prefer to shop in modern retail markets such as minimarkets, supermarkets or hypermarkets. The population of this study are consumers aged 17 years and over and have been shopping at Matahari Department Store Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. Sampling used in this research is nonprobability sampling and the taking of the sample using incidental sampling technique. The sample was 110 respondents ie men and women. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis technique used in this research is SEM (Structural Equation Model). Test results show that Store Environment Quality has an influence on Perceived Legitimacy; Perceived Legitimacy has an effect on Shopping Behavior, and Store environment Quality influence to Shopping Behavior, through Perceived Legitimacy mediation.

Abstract

Today's competition is very intens, with many restaurants, cafes and food court popping up so that competition arises from the side of sellers and consumers. Today's consumers are more likely to get bored so quickly that they will use all existing facilities such as information technology to get information about what they want to know. Marketers must have a positive strategy in experiential marketing to create a good experience for consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of experiential marketing on repurchase intention through experiential value for consumers of Pasa Rame Restaurant in Surabaya. Respondent samples used were 200 respondents who are the consumers of Pasa Rame Restaurant in Surabaya. Sampling of respondents using non probability sampling by purposive sampling. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Modelling using the Lisrel program.The results of this study state that experiential marketing has a positive and significant effect on experiential value, experiential marketing has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, experiential value has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention and experiential marketing has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention through experiential value for consumers of Pasa Rame Restaurant in Surabaya

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze and test the effect of servant leadershipwith organizational culture as mediation for performance educators in Christianand Catholic education institution in Surabaya. This research wrote by Kurniawan(2019) and Sihombing, et al (2018) who analysed the influence of servant leadersipand organization culture for performance as basis of this research. This researchpicked 100 respondents as sample from education woker at Christian or Catholiceducation institution in Surabaya.The measurement tool of this research is questionnaire. Data obtained and processedwith Partial Least Square analytical technique by SmartPLS 3.0 program. The result of this research proved that servant leadership has positive and significant influence for organization culture also its performance, and organization culture hasno influence for performance.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tambahan wawasan berbasis pendampingan bisnis terkait strategi di bidang bisnis, yang meliputi: Tantangan dan kesempatan berwirausaha, menilai peluang, membuka usaha dan keunggulan kompetitif bagi wirausahawan, serta strategi menangkap peluang usaha, penyebab utama dan beberapa kekurangan kegagalan usaha. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah anggota Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita Surabaya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Tim Abdimas berhasil, karena para peserta yang hadir sangat antusias mengikuti setiap sesi pemaparan materi. Hal itu terbukti dari masih banyaknya peserta mengerubuti Tim Abdimas dan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan kasuistik dalam bisnisnya serta keinginan adanya kegiatan pelatihan dengan topik yang berbeda.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memperkuat strategi bisnis para pelaku UMKM, khususnya strategi di bidang pemasaran. Dalam pengabdian ini, yang menjadi mitra adalah para pelaku UMKM yang menjadi anggota Koperasi Setia Bhakti Wanita Surabaya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Senin, 28 November 2016. Abstract

This community service aims to provide additional insight into how conflict management is aimed at administrators of loyal bhakti women cooperatives in Surabaya. Increasing the capability of members and increasing the level of effectiveness of conflict handling in cooperatives are the goals of this community service activity. 38 administrators and 9 administrators who also act as supervisors. The total number of participants of the Surabaya Setia Bhakti Wanita Surabaya cooperative community service was 47 people who participated in this activity. Through a workshop and interactive discussion this activity was held. Time limitation is the main drawback in this activity.

Abstract

This Abdimas activity aims to provide insight to the residents of Semolowaru Village, Sukolilo District, Surabaya on the importance of financial management for retirement planning. The target of this activity is 40 residents of Semolowaru Village who are members of Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Rukun Warga 03, Semolowaru Village, Surabaya. The implementation of this Abdimas activity uses discourse, discussion, practice, and simulation to prepare a family revenue and expense budget. The members of PKK Rukun Warga 03, Semolowaru Village, Surabaya are given the opportunity to practice their abilities, for example completing tasks and exercises in financial planning for the welfare of pension time, checking the financial health of the family with the Financial Health Check-up website program.
