Abstract

Diversity in Indonesia raises the tolerance problem. The research goal to find guidance and counseling services right to develop character tolerance. Research and development approach used in research. Research and development steps include preliminary study, development hypothetical group guidance model-based folklore, validation of expert judgment and expert practitioners, experimental test form group guidance model-based folklore on a limited basis — descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative in research analysis. The findings show Aspects of peace and mutual respect for students in the low category, during the self-awareness of students in the high category. School counselor role in group guidance services for prevention, development, understanding, and distribution of tolerance character. Tolerance characters appear in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions with indicators of peace, respect for differences and individuals, and awareness. Group guidance model-based folklore methods is the right solution for the internalization of character tolerance trough limited test with indicate that there was a significant change in tolerance level after the experimental analysis.

Abstract

The study was to uncover the concept of quality improvement, the supporting and the inhibiting factors within the quality improve and the quality improvement in the early childhood mentoring institutions/kindergarten. The study was a qualitative research. The subjects in the study were kindergarten principals, kindergarten teachers and parents. The data were gathered by means of observation, interview and documentation. For the data analysis, the researcher selected the qualitative descriptive data analysis method. The results of the study were as follows. First, the concept of educational quality improvement in the early childhood mentoring institutions/ kindergarten has been improveed from the vision, the mission and the objectives and the concept includes the aspects of planning, process and output which has synergy from one to another. The planning has been formulated in the curriculum, the syllabus and the daily activity plan. Second, the approach, the strategy and the technique of quality improvement has maximized the well-qualified schools’ resources, have been supported by the sufficient facilities and have been funded by the sufficient budget. Third, the supporting factors within the quality improvement of early childhood mentoring institutions/kindergarten have been the increasing awareness within the society toward the significance of early childhood mentoring institutions, the massive socialization conducted by the Office of Education through the provision of training programs in relation to the early childhood mentoring institution/kindergarten management and the human resources empowerment toward developing the quality of early childhood mentoring institutions. Fourth, the inhibiting factors within the quality improvement of early childhood mentoring institutions have been the lack of society care and participation, the less quality human resources that early childhood mentoring institutions have, the fund limitation, the facility limitation and the lack of program management effectiveness.Keywords: development, educational quality, kindergarten

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials for the development of ethics and personality of counselors which will be used by universities that have guidance and counseling study programs. In addition, the mastery of ethics and personality by prospective counselors helps to achieve the 4 basic competencies that counselors must have. The purpose of this development is carried out due to the lack of understanding of the counselor's ethics and personality as a potential counselor. This is evidenced by the results of the scores obtained by the 6th semester students of Ahmad Dahlan University in participating in UA, out of 198 students, 91 students got a C grade. during lecture activities. The development of this counselor textbook on personality and ethics is expected to be able to facilitate prospective counselors in forming a personality and ethics that should be owned by a counselor.

Abstract

Di dunia yang sedang mengalami digitalisasi penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas strategi bimbingan konseling dengan media podcast dimana media ini sebagai sarana yang kekinian dan inovatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan menggunakan sumber sekunder. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengumpulkan data dari berbagai penelitian yang bersumber dari artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan tema penelitian. Dengan hasil media podcast efektif sebagai media untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Gejala nomophobia ditandai dengan keasyikan menggunakan smartphone, kurang berinteraksi sosial, kurang mampu mengelola waktu, cemas berlebihan ketika jauh dari gadget, dan kurang selektif dalam pemanfaatan gadget. Kondisi nomophobia pada remaja siswa SMP perlu diminimalisir. Bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah berkepentingan untuk mengantisipasi dan mengatasi nomophobia. Salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan adalah bimbingan kelompok teknik roleplay.

Abstract

Fenomena remaja banyak dijumpai pada remaja yang pada umumnya mereka yang masih duduk dibangku SMA seperti meremehkan peraturan dan disiplin disekolah, suka membolos, tidak mengerjakan tugas/pekerjaan rumah yang diberikan guru karena main atau tidak mengerti, suka mengantuk di dalam kelas, tidak berani bertanya karena takut dihukum. Gejala tersebut merupakan kurangnya self control, maka dari itu perlu adanya peningkatan dalam self control. Bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah berkepentingan untuk meningkatkan self control. Salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan adalah konseling kelompok dengan teknik modelling.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh pemahaman dan inovasi baru dalam layanan bimbingan melalui penggunaan media sosial sebagai media substitusi papan bimbingan untuk Generasi Z. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Generasi Z. Generasi Z merupakan kelahiran 1997-2021, antara 10-25 pada tahun 2022. Instrumen data menggunakan dokumentasi penelitian yang relevan dengan: 1) pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan konseling, 2) penggunaan media papan bimbingan dan 3) Instagram dalam kegiatan pembelajaran atau bimbingan konseling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mencari sumber yang relevan yaitu: 1) buku, 2) jurnal, 3) prosiding, 4) skripsi, 5) thesis serta penelitian lain yang sejenis. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan: 1) reduksi data, 2) penyajian data dan 3) interpretasi data. Berdasarkan hasil interpretasi studi kepustakaan pada berbagai sumber yang relevan diperoleh kesimpulan konten dalam papan bimbingan : 1) bahan bacaan, 2) poster, 3) komik, 4) cerpen, 5) pesan atensi dan 6) hiburan/permainan dapat diunggah secara digital dalam berbagai fitur Instagram tanpa mengurangi esensi konten yang diunggah. Dengan demikian Instagram dapat dijadikan sebagai media substitusi papan bimbingan untuk Generasi Z.

Abstract

The unclear end of the Covid-19 pandemic impacts learning in schools. Students as affected communities lead to an online learning process with various limitations, even though students are already getting used to online learning. Conditions related to online learning raise new problems regarding academic burnout. This study aims to develop an academic burnout scale and describe the situation of students' academic burnout. The research method uses a mix-method with academic burnout variables, and the target is students. The study results found three aspects of academic burnout conditions physical exhaustion, mental exhaustion, and emotional exhaustion. Tested the burnout scale for validity with reliability in the very high category. The measurement of students' academic burnout found that, on average, students had a high burnout category due to online learning. The effect of the burnout condition is self-confidence, motivation, achievement, self-control or depression in students. Immediate intervention for the prevention, reduction, or alleviation of burnout by a school counsellor or collaboration with a psychologist or university.
