Abstract

Abstrak. This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and work stress on employee performance at PT Tifico Fiber Indonesia, Tbk. in Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative associative method. The sampling technique was conducted using the slovin formula with a total sample of 83 respondents. Data analysis techniques include data instrument testing, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing using the t-test and F-test. The results show that the work environment partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by the simple linear regression equation Y = 18.214 + 0.487X1. The correlation coefficient value is 0.681, indicating a strong relationship, with a coefficient of determination of 46.4%. The t-test results show that tcount > ttable (6.112 > 1.670) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work stress partially has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by the simple linear regression equation Y = 32.705 – 0.529X2. The correlation coefficient value is –0.592 with a coefficient of determination of 35.0%, and the t-test results show that tcount > ttable (5.038 > 1.670) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, work environment and work stress have a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 21.436 + 0.361X1 – 0.412X2. The correlation coefficient value is 0.742 with a coefficient of determination of 55.0%. The F-test results show that Fcount > Ftable (48.215 > 3.11) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, therefore Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

performance at PT Nusalima Digdaya Nusantara. The research employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 56 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using simple and multiple linear regression to test the research hypotheses. The results show that leadership style (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), as indicated by a t-value of  3.580 > t-table 1.290 and a significance level of 0.000 > 0.05. Meanwhile, work ethic (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 11.482 > t-table 1.290 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, leadership style and work ethic have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 64.706 > F-table 3.09 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, employee performance at PT Nusalima Digdaya Nusantara can be improved by strengthening work ethic while continuously developing effective leadership practices.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Leadership Style (X1) and Physical Work Environment (X2) on Employee Performance at the Cosmo Amaroossa Hotel located in South Jakarta. The method used in this study is quantitative with an associative approach, which aims to assess the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The sampling technique applied is a saturated sampling technique, where data is obtained through observation and questionnaires from 60 participants. The results of the separate analysis show that the Leadership Style variable (X1) has an effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a regression equation of Y = 9.531 + 0.732 X1, and a correlation coefficient of 0.740, which indicates a strong relationship with a coefficient of determination of 54.8%. The results of the hypothesis test show that the calculated t is greater than the t table (4.243 > 2.000), so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is a significant influence between leadership style and Employee Performance. Other results show that the Physical Work Environment (X2) also influences Employee Performance (Y) with a regression equation of Y = 13.393 + 0.641 X2 and a correlation coefficient of 0.755, indicating a strong relationship with a determination coefficient of 56.9%. From the hypothesis test, the calculated t is greater than the t table (4.665 > 2.000), so H0 is rejected again and H2 is accepted, indicating a significant influence between the Physical Work Environment and Employee Performance. When viewed simultaneously, the variables Leadership Style (X1) and Physical Work Environment (X2) have a regression equation of Y = 6.974 + 0.424 X1 + 0.401 X2 with a correlation coefficient of 0.820 indicating a strong relationship and a determination coefficient of 67.3%, while 32.7% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test shows that the calculated F is greater than the F table (58.584 > 3.16), so H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted, which means that there is a significant simultaneous influence between Leadership Style and Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance at Cosmo Amaroossa South Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and work environment on employee performance at Terminal Type A Pondok Cabe. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population in this study consisted of  65 employees, and the sampling technique applied was saturated sampling, so all members of the population were included as the sample. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS version 25.The results showed that partially, work stress (X1) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 4.241 > t-table 1.669 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The work environment (X2) also had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 7.152 > t-table 1.669 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, work stress and work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with an R value of 0.703, indicating a strong relationship among variables. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.495 shows that 49.5% of employee performance is influenced by work stress and work environment, while the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other factors outside this study.
