Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengukur prestasi kerja guru sekolah laboratorium Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta, dan (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pengukuran prestasi kerja guru sekolah laboratorium Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta ditinjau dari kompetensi profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru kelas tinggi dan kepala sekolah jenjang sekolah dasar. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes dan angket. Validitas pada instrumen kompetensi profesional menggunakan validitas isi dan valditas konstruk. Adapun estimasi reliabilitas instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cronbanch alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pencapaian rerata nilai prestasi kerja guru secara keseluruhan  sebesar 71,00 dari rentang skor 0-100 dan (2) terdapat 4 kecamatan dan 18 Sekolah Dasar dengan kategori rendah dalam penilaian prestasi kerja guru sekolah laboratorium Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of the online learning system CIPP evaluation instrument and to evaluate the online learning system during the Covid-19 pandemic at IAIN Ambon. It was an evaluation research, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. The research subjects were students at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at IAIN Ambon. Moreover, the data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. Instrument validity used expert judgment. The reliability of the instrument was analyzed using Alpha Cronbach. The result analysis used quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that: 1) the instrument was feasible and suitable used as a measuring tool for the evaluation of the online learning system at IAIN Ambon based on validity and reliability tests. 2) the results of the evaluation in terms of context showed that the average achievement was 95% in the very good category. The evaluation from the input aspect showed that the average achievement was 91% in the very good category. While the evaluation in terms of the process aspect showed that the average achievement was 93% in the very good category and the evaluation from the product aspect showed that the average achievement of 79% was in the good category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen evaluasi CIPP sistem pembelajaran online dan melakukan evaluasi sistem pembelajaran online selama pandemi Covid-19 di IAIN Ambon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) instrumen layak dan sudah sesuai untuk digunakan sebagai alat ukur evaluasi sistem pembelajaran online di IAIN Ambon berdasarkan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. 2) hasil evaluasi ditinjau dari aspek konteks menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 95% dalam kategori sangat baik. Adapun evaluasi dari aspek input menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 91% dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan evaluasi ditinjau dari aspek proses menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 93% dalam kategorisangat baik dan evaluasi dari aspek produk menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 79% tergolong dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Inggris, dan bahasa Arab pada tingkat MTs/SMP. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kauantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Gunungkidul tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 118. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Analisis Varian Multivariate (MANOVA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Arab berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Jenis kelamin tidak berpengaruh pada hasil ujian Bahasa Indonesia, sedangkan pada hasil ujian Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Arab berpengaruh secara signifikan.   Could gender affect children's language learning outcomes?   Abstract: This study aims to describe the effect of gender on learning outcomes of Indonesian, English, and Arabic at the MTs/SMP level. The study used a quantitative approach with the research subjects being graded IX students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Gunungkidul in the academic year 2021/2022 with a total sample of 118. The data were analyzed using the Multivariate Analysis of Variance Test (MANOVA). The analysis results show significant differences in learning outcomes of Indonesian, English, and Arabic based on gender. Gender has no effect on the Indonesian language test results, while the English and Arabic tests have a significant effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu menggunakan posstest-only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini meliputi seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 1 Turi. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa instrumen tes dalam bentuk uraian yang telah terpenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai sig pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan model problem based learning sebesar 0,137 dan nilai sig pada kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 0,200. Berdasar­kan hasil uji normalitas pada kelas eksperimen maupun pada kelas kontrol menunjukkan berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji homogenitas post test diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,798, sehingga variansi kedua kelas tersebut homogen. Uji prasyarat dalam penelitian telah terpenuhi, maka dapat dilanjutkan dengan melakukan uji-t. Hasil perhitungan hipotesis uji-t diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 2,1540 > 1,9989 atau thitung > ttabel, maka dapat disimpulkan model problem based learning berpengaruh baik apabila dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Hal ini juga terlihat berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata post test pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,25 sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol sebesar 75,26. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Pembelajaran Konvensional, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model on the mathematical critical thinking ability of students grade VIII SMP. This type of research is quasi-experimental research using posstest-only control design. The population in this study included all students of classgrade VIII at SMP N 1 Turi. The research sample is grade VIII A as an experimental group and grade VIII B as a control group. The instrument test used in the study was essay type questions that had tested the validity and reliability. The final results of this study indicate that the sig value = 0.137 in the experimental group using a problem based learning model and the sig value = 0.200 in the control group using a conventional learning model. The results of the normality test in the experimental group and in the control group showed normal distribution. The post test homogeneity test results showed sig value = 0.798, so that the variance of the two groups is homogeneous. The prerequisite test in the research has been fulfilled, so it can be continued by doing t-test. The result of the t-test was a sig value = 2.1540 > 1.9989 or tcount > ttable, so it can be concluded that the problem based learning model has a good effect when compared to conventional learning models on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. This was also seen based on the post-test result in which the average score of the experimental group was 81.25 while the average score of the control group was 75.26. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Conventional Learning, Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability

Abstract

This study aims to describe the empowerment of youth organization in improving family welfare through the cultivation of cardamom plants and the use of livestock waste as organic fertilizer. This research is a quantitative descriptive study in which the researchers collect information related to the development of agricultural potential in Giripurwo Village. The research subjects were the hamlet chief, the youth organization chief, the youth organization members and the community of Bulu Hamlet, Giripurwo Village. The sampling technique was carried out by using the snowball sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and interview guidelines. Data analysis was carried out through quantitative descriptions and then categorized it through percentages. The results showed that the empowerment of youth organization was carried out through: 1) counseling about development had an average of 80% (good category), 2) training activities had an average of 74% (good category), 3) coaching activities had an average of 86% (very good category), and 4) role increasing had an average of 77% (good category). Overall, this empowerment program showed that 79% (good category) was appropriate. Youth organization are able to process livestock waste into organic fertilizer and develop agricultural potential through cardamom cultivation. In addition, there is a commitment from the participants to manage the knowledge and skills acquired during the activity and the implementation of these activities continuously in order to improve family welfare.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya mengukur sejauh mana keberhasilan pencapaian Tridharma dosen dapat dilakukan penilai-an terhadap kinerja dosen. Namun demikian, diperlukan alat ukur yang baik, agar dapat mengukur kinerja dosen dengan tepat. Tujuan penelitian untuk untuk mengetahui kelayakan istrumen kinerja dosen di bidang pengajaran ditinjau dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran berdasarkan pembuktian validitas dan estimasi reliabilitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Pembuktian validitas isi dilakukan melalui expert judgment dengan menggunakan formula Aiken’s V dan estimasi reliabilitas menggunakan formula Cronbach’s Alpha. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2022 selama 3 bulan dengan lokasi penelitian di Ambon, Maluku. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar indeks Aiken’ s V pada masing-masing item kategori validitas tinggi, sedangkan hasil estimasi reliabilitas Cronbach’s Alpha diperoleh nilai ? > 0,70. Instrumen dinyatakan layak untuk mengukur kinerja dosen bidang pengajaran berdasarkan hasil pem-buktian validitas isi dan estimasi reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan bagi para pengembang instrumen, dimana pada tahap pengembangan instrumen validitas isi merupakan salah satu langkah awal dalam menentukan kelayakan suatu instrumen. Feasibility of teaching performance instruments Abstract: One of the efforts to measure the extent to which the success of achieving the Tridharma of lecturers can be assessed on the performance of lecturers. However, a good measurement tool is needed in order to be able to measure lecturer performance appropriately. The research objective is to determine the feasibility of lecturer performance instruments in the field of teaching in terms of planning, implementation, and learning evaluation based on proof of validity and estimated reliability. This research is quantitative research. Content validity was verified through expert judgment using Aiken's V formula and reliability estimation using Cronbach's Alpha formula. Determination of the sample using a simple random sampling technique. The research was conducted in 2022 for three months with research locations in Ambon, Maluku. The results showed that most of Aiken's V index in each item was in the high validity category, while the results of Cronbach's Alpha reliability estimation obtained a value of ? > 0.70. The instrument was declared feasible for measuring the performance of lecturers in the field of teaching based on the results of proving content validity and estimated reliability. The research results can be used as a reference for instrument developers, where at the stage of developing an instrument, content validity is one of the first steps in determining the feasibility of an instrument.

Abstract

Teacher performance assessment is a system designed to determine teachers' capacity to perform their duties by assessing the competence of skills demonstrated in their performance. Analyzing the madrasah teacher' performance assessment in underdeveloped areas of Indonesia is challenging. This study aimed to decipher the experience of assessing the performance of madrasah teachers in underdeveloped regions of Indonesia. It was a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach conducted in Maluku Province. Purposive sampling was used to select samples, including the head of the Islamic Education Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Regency, the madrasah principals, and teachers assessed for their performance. The data was gathered through interviews and analyzed using an interactive model. The findings revealed five significant problems with the madrasah teacher performances in underdeveloped areas: compliance with teacher performance assessment (TPA) guidelines, implementation, natural conditions, costs, and transportation.

Abstract

Technology has become a new tool that can help in all aspects of life; today, technology helps develop educational facilities to be more effective and efficient. The progress of civilization in technology means that the world of education must be more prepared and skilled in facing global challenges. Skills that are important to develop, based on the National Education Association (NEA) recommends the importance of developing the Four Cs, namely (1) Critical thinking and problem solving, (2) Communication, (3) Collaboration, and (4) Creativity and Innovation. Problem-solving is the main reference in the educational process, especially in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). This can be seen from PPKn learning, which is still dominated by conventional systems, so the application of PPKn learning, which is oriented to contextual multiple intelligences, is still far from expectations. An adaptive model that can improve PPKn skills and learning outcomes is by using Citizenship Learning Practices (project citizenship). Therefore, elementary school teachers need to have the skills to develop and implement learning with project citizenship. Project Citizenship was developed from a critical or reflective thinking approach model. The learning approach recommended to be developed is oriented towards critical thinking and problem-solving. Through project citizen training, which is applied in the teaching and learning process, it is hoped that students will be able to familiarize themselves with carrying out the inquiry process, which is believed to make learning more meaningful.
