Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengukur prestasi kerja guru sekolah laboratorium Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta, dan (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pengukuran prestasi kerja guru sekolah laboratorium Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta ditinjau dari kompetensi profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru kelas tinggi dan kepala sekolah jenjang sekolah dasar. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes dan angket. Validitas pada instrumen kompetensi profesional menggunakan validitas isi dan valditas konstruk. Adapun estimasi reliabilitas instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cronbanch alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pencapaian rerata nilai prestasi kerja guru secara keseluruhan  sebesar 71,00 dari rentang skor 0-100 dan (2) terdapat 4 kecamatan dan 18 Sekolah Dasar dengan kategori rendah dalam penilaian prestasi kerja guru sekolah laboratorium Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan makalah ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas mengenai konsep literasi sains dan aspek-aspeknya untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Literasi sains warga negara Indonesia masih rendah bila dibandingkan dengan negara-negara yang lain. Hal tersebut diketahui dari hasil PISA tahun 2012. Dalam pembahasan, konsep literasi sains dan aspek-aspeknya difokuskan dalam konteks pelajaran fisika pada pokok bahasan kalor. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan beberapa sumber berupa dokumen pemerintahan, jurnal penelitian, buku serta laporan penelitian yang relevan. Dokumen pemerintahan yang dimaksud adalah undang-undang, peraturan menteri dan hasil dari BSNP. Laporan pengukuran yang dimaksud adalah laporan yang berasal dari PISA. Aspek-aspek kinerja literasi sains yang disusun dapat digunakan sebagai panduan dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran ataupun perangkat asesmen literasi sains pada pelajaran fisika dengan materi kalor. The aim of this paper is to get a clear picture of scientific literacy concept and it's aspects for improving the quality of education. The Science literacy of Indonesian is still lower when compared with other countries. We can know about that from the results of PISA 2012. In this discussion, the concept of scientific literacy and it's aspects in the context of physics focused on heat subject. The literature study is used as method for this paper. This paper is written down of some literature sources such as government documents, research journals, books and research reports relevant. The Government document is a government of laws, regulations and the results of BSNP minister. The relevant research report is  a report emanating from some institution like Pisa and TIMSS. Aspects of scientific literacy performance can be used as a guide in developing a learning device or  assessment devices of scientific literacy in the subject matter of physics with heat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an evaluation instrument CIPP (context, input, process, product) model that suitable at implementation of performance assessment instrument to measure students' science process skills of junior high school. Methods in this study are research and development (R & D) which is adopted by model Borg & Gall model. This evaluation instrument used one of evaluation CIPP model with context, input, process, and product components. The evaluation instrument is used to determine the implementation of performance assessment instrument to measure junior high school students' science process skills in excretion system topic. This development study involves some experts to give validation of the development of feasibility products. Experts involved, they are two lecturers of evaluation expert, two junior high school science teachers, and four peers. The validity of evaluation instruments was analyzed using V'aiken formula. The results of this study are evaluation instrument of CIPP model of the implementation of performance assessment to measure junior high school students' science process skills of grade VIII in excretion system topic. The results of the validity of this product indicates that this evaluation instruments are eligible in using with V'eiken coefficient of 0.86. It indicates that the evaluation instruments are valid in substance, construction, and language aspects.

Abstract

Anxiety becomes one of the psychological symptoms that can appear in every student while solving mathematics problems. Anxiety cannot be denied to be one factor that affects students’ learning outcomes and interest in mathematics. Therefore, teachers should concern on this matter in order to decide the appropriate learning strategy. However, there is no instrument to measure the level of students’ anxiety towards mathematics, especially for junior high school students. For that reason, this research aims to: 1) design the construct of math anxiety scale instrument, 2) find out the validity of the instrument. This research used Research and Development method to develop and validate the product which is in the form of a questionnaire. The analysis techniques used V Aiken for content validity, EFA for construct validity, and Cronbach’s Alpha for the reliability. The results of this research showed that the instrument was valid and reliable because it met the criteria for validity and reliability. In conclusion, the instrument is valid to measure the junior high school students’ math anxiety level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effects of variability through data simulation to determine which aspect of variability that maximizes coefficient of Cronbach Alpha reliability. Cronbach Alpha is widely used for estimation of reliability, in recent still. This study served a conceptual and practical simulation for estimating the profound aspect of Cronbach Alpha coefficient relating to the variability of the data. This study carried out with data simulated using the rand between method by Microsoft Excel then simulate different categorical data responses to different range of items by manipulating sample size, range, number of items, variance and standard deviation. The results show that number of variance and standard deviation of data had the most profound aspect of Cronbach Alpha's reliability other than range. The increasing number on some aspect shows that standard deviation and variance has the stability to shows the positive correlation with the coefficient of Cronbach Alpha reliability other than range.

Abstract

It is not avoidable that today's human life cannotbe separated from the need for electric energy. SriSoewasti Soesanto (1996: 6) states that many studieshave shown the effects of the electromagnetic fieldcaused by electrical equipment on human health in theform of leukemia, brain cancer, and barrenness. Becausethere is such an indication that the radiation ofthe electromagnetic field is dangerous for human health,preventive measures have, therefore, to be taken to reducethe negative effects by avoiding direct contact withthe source of radiation, by providing a protective coverappropriate with the kind of radiation, by putting asfar a distance as possible between the body and thesource of radiation, by shortening the period of workusing the source of radiation, and so on.

Abstract

Tujuan utama pengelolaan limbah zat radioaktif ialahmembuat dosis radioaktif yang diterima manusia dan lingkungannyadari timbah tersebut serendah mungkin, sehingga dalam setiapkcadaan dosis maksimum tahunan yang diperkenankan.Semua zat radioktif dan radiasi mengandung bahaya luardan da1am. Yang dimaksud radiasi disini iatah radiasi pcng-ionseperti sinar-X. radiasi r. dan partikel bermuatan. Akibat radiasineutron timbul radiasi peng-ioni. Bahaya luar diakibatkan olehpemaparan luar (external exposure). sedang bahaya dalam diakibatkanotch pemaparan dari dalam (internal exposure).Ada empat prinsip/teknik yang dapat diterapkan dalampengelolaan limbah zat radioaktif, yaitu: dengan pengenceran dandispersi unluk limbah dengan aktivitas rendah, penundaan danpeluruhan untuk limbah beromur pendek, pemampalan untuk limbahdengan aktivitas sedang dan linggi, dan pewadahan (countainment).Sistem pcngelolaan kadang-kadangjuga tcrdiridari kombinasi darikeempat prinsip/teknik Lerscbut. Untuk menetapkan beberapa besarkonsentrasi dari bcrbagai radionul.clida yang dapat dibuang denganaman dan tidak membahayakan umat manusia dan lingkungannya,maka harus dievaluasi kapasitas penampungan dari lingkungantersebut untuk menerima radioaktivitas dengan menggunakan pendekatan'jalu'r kritis' yaknijalan yang paling efektifbagi radionuklidakepada manusia dalam situasi dan kondisi tertentu yang menyebabkankerusakan akibat radiasi. loi memberikan suatu penentuankonsep tentang dosis radiasi dan pemeparan maksimum yang diperkenankan(maximum permissible radition dose).

Abstract

Abstract: This study seeks to (1) reveal the feasibility of an instrument used for assessing the performance of science process skills; (2) describe the assessment results of student’s science process skills; (3) find out the practicality of the instrument to measure student’sscience process skills. This research and development adopted 4D model and non-test instruments. The results of the study are: (1) the instrument for performance assessment,which is in the form of observation sheet, is valid and reliable to measure science process skills; (2) the assessment reveals that students have average prediction and inferential skills, good experiment, measurement and communication skills, and very good observationskills; (3) the instrument has high practicality for measuring student’s science process skills. Keywords: instrument, performance assessment, science process skills, science learning,research and development INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN KINERJA KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SESUAINATURE OF SCIENCE (NOS) Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kelayakan instrumen penilaian kinerja keterampilan proses sains hasil pengembangan, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil pengukuran keterampilan proses sains peserta didik, (3) mengetahui kepraktisan instrumen penilaian kinerja untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RD) yang mengadaptasi model penelitian pengembangan 4-D dan pengembangan instrumen nontes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan melalui analisis V aiken untuk mencari validitas instrumen, inter-rater reliability untuk mencari reliabitas, dan mengkonversi skor keterampilan proses dan angket respon. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) penilaian kinerja keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dalam bentuk lembar observasi dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, (2) hasil pengukuran keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yaitu keterampilan prediksi dan inferensi dengan kategori cukup, keterampilan eksperimen, pengukuran, komunikasi tergolong baik, dan keterampilan observasi sangat baik, (3) instrumen penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan memiliki respon keterpakaian dengan kategori sangat baik untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.
