Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose– This research aims to identify any variables that can influence e-money user behavior mediated by behavioral intentions using the UTAUT model Design/methodology–. This research uses a quantitative-descriptive approach. Sampling used a purposive sampling method to achieve a sample size based on the Slovin formula. Data was collected by distributing a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form. The data analysis technique uses the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (PLSSEM) with the SmartPLS3 application.Findings - The results of hypothesis testing show that performance expectations do not influence behavioral intentions. Effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions influence the intention to use e-money. Facilitating conditions influence user behavior. Behavioral intentions are able to mediate the influence of performance expectations, business expectations, and social influences, as well as facilitate conditions on e-money user behavior.

This research was conducted in North Sumatra Province using secondary data with a time series from 2010 to 2024, the data was sourced from the North Sumatra Central Statistics Agency. From the results of the research, partially the GRDP and poverty variables have a positive and insignificant effect on the Gini ratio variable. Partially, the TPT variable has a negative and not insignificant effect on the Gini ratio variable. And partially the HDI variable has a positive and significant effect on the Gini ratio variable. Then simultaneously the variables GRDP, TPT, poverty and HDI have a significant effect on the Gini ratio variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze poverty alleviation efforts in Indonesia in relation to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research focuses on examining poverty trends, identifying influencing factors, and evaluating government policies related to poverty reduction during the 2004–2023 period. The research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The independent variables include the unemployment rate, income inequality (Gini Ratio), and Human Development Index (HDI), while the dependent variable is the poverty rate. The results of the study show that 1) the open unemployment rate (TPT) has a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate in Indonesia, 2) the income inequality rate has a negative and insignificant effect on the poverty rate in Indonesia and 3) the human development index (HDI) has a negative and significant effect on the poverty rate in Indonesia. In addition, Although the overall poverty rate has declined, structural challenges such as inequality and human capital quality remain obstacles. Therefore, strengthening inclusive social policies, improving education and health services, and creating sustainable employment are key strategies to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs in Indonesia.
