Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penjualan pribadi (personal selling) dan promosi penjualan (sales promotion) terhadap peningkatan volume penjualan Yamaha Mio Soul pada PT. Alfa Scorpii Sentral Yamaha Medan secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil yang ditemukan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh personal selling dan sales promotion terhadap peningkatan volume penjualan baik secara parsial maupun simultan walaupun demikian dari persamaan regresi hubungan yang terungkap adalah hubungan positif.

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan pasar tradisional dan pasar modern dari sisi tata letak dan kualitas pelayanan. Hasil penelitian ini akan berguna pemerintah dan instansi terkait dalam pengembangan pasar tradisional, dan bisa melakukan perbaikan dari segi tata letak dan kualitas pelayanan. Pada akhirnya pasar tradisional akan diminati kembali oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif serta uji perbedaan persepsi konsumen terhadap pasar modern dan pasar tradisional dari segi tata letak dan kualitas pelayanan. Hasil uji perbedaan persepsi konsumen dari segi tata letak menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan. Dari uji perbedaan persepsi konsumen dari segi kualitas pelayanan, terlihat ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan pasar moden dan pasar tradisional.Dari hasil plotting matriks performance analisis pasar modern diketahui bahwa faktor penilaian kualitas pelayanan lebih banyak berada di kuadran B, yaitu untuk dipertahankan, diikuti oleh kuadran A (untuk diperbaiki) dan 2 faktor di kuadran C. Untuk faktor kualitas pelayanan pasar tradisional, 17 faktor berada dalam kuadran D, 1 faktor berada dalam kuadran C. Kualitas pelayanan pasar modern dipersepsikan baik oleh konsumen, sedangkan pasar tradisional dinilai cukup baik.

The approach used in this research is associative which is one type of explanation which is a research study that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. This research was conducted at the University of North Sumatra Muhammadiyah location at Jl. Muchtar Captain Basri Medan. In this case the study population are all consumers of Android-based Samsung mobile phone users with no measurable amount. The sample in this study 100 consumer Samsung Android-based mobile phone users. Based on the research results it can be concluded service quality affects customer satisfaction samsung mobile phones. Product quality to customer satisfaction samsung mobile phones. From the calculation, that the quality of product and service quality affects customer satisfaction. The most dominant variable effect on customer satisfaction is the variable quality of service.Keywords: Service Quality, Product Quality and Customer Satisfaction.

This study aims to determine the extent to which students can be actively involved in the classroom by using group discussion methods based on cooperative learning model learning together, and also to know the extent to which students can express opinions and give responses to the opinions of his classmates communicatively by using the method of discussion group learning cooperative learning model together. The approach used is through classroom action research (Classroom Action Research), through cooperative learning methods. Steps taken with stages: (1) plan, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The results showed that: (1) During the learning process using the method of group discussion based on cooperative learning method of learning together student learning activity can increase because students are empowered and given trust and actively involved in learning activities. The average percentage achievement of students' learning activity continues to increase which in pre cycle stage is only 34,1%, then reaching 65,8% percentage in cycle 1 and increasing again to 92% in cycle 2. (2) Positive impact from increasing activeness learning is on student learning outcomes which also experienced an increase wherein the precycle cycle the average value of students only 61.3 and increased in the cycle 1 to 75.7 and increased again to 83.09 on cycle 2.

Organizational culture is a pattern of behavior developed by anorganization's employees learned when faced with problems of externaladaptation and internal integration, that has proven good enough to be approvedand taught to new members as a way to realize, think and feel. In addition,organizational culture refers to a system of shared meaning held by members thatdistinguishes the organization from other organizations. Organizational culturewithin an organization is usually associated with values, norms, attitudes andwork ethic on hold in common by each component of the organization. If theculture of the organization will be able to improve both the high performance andwill contribute to the company's success.

To be able to compete every business the home industry must be able to prepare and have a strategy in order to produce a quality product. In addition, the home industry business must have a wide marketing network with the aim that the resulting product can be accepted by the market or consumers, have competent human resources, and have the capital. In addition, the household industry also always has the availability of raw materials to facilitate the production process produced. Thus, it is expected that small industries can increase family income or community income. Household industries are small and medium enterprises as the Central Bureau of Statistics states that small and medium enterprises are identical with small industries and home industries. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT. Asam Jawa Medan. Berdasarkan uji-t diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 6.342 > 2,007, maka H0 ditolak, jadi ada pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja pegawawi pada PT. Asam Jawa Medan. Dari uji koefisien korelasi diperoleh nilai rxy = 0,657, yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang kuat kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT. Asam Jawa Medan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitngan diperoleh koefisien determinasi pengaruh pemberian kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai sebesar 43,1% atau dengan kata lain 43,1% variabel Y (prestasi kerja) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel X (kompensasi), atau secara praktis dapat dikatakan bahwa kontribusi variabel X (kompensasi) terhadap variabel (prestasi kerja) adalah 43.1%. Sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Kata Kunci : Kompensasi dan Prestasi Kerja
