Abstract

The research analysis aims to determine whether service quality partially has a positive and significant effect on the corporate image of PT Jasa Raharja, North Sumatra Branch. Whether claimant satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on the corporate image of PT Jasa Raharja, North Sumatra Branch. Whether service quality and claimant satisfaction simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the corporate image of PT Jasa Raharja, North Sumatra Branch. The data analysis technique used is the associative quantitative research method with the help of the SPSS program. This study uses multiple linear regression. The sample in this study was 82 respondents. Primary data collection using a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that service quality partially has a positive and significant effect on the corporate image of PT Jasa Raharja, North Sumatra Branch. Claimant satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on the corporate image of PT Jasa Raharja, North Sumatra Branch. Service quality and claimant satisfaction simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the corporate image of PT Jasa Raharja, North Sumatra Branch.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze service quality, facilities and prices on loyalty with student satisfaction as intervening variable at the Panca Budi Development University. This type of research is associative with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. The sample size in this study was 176 master's students at the Panca Budi Development University. The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS v4.0 data processing. The Adjusted R-square results on the loyalty variable have a value of 0.512, which means that this loyalty variable is influenced by service quality, facilities, price and satisfaction by 51.2%, and the Adjusted R-square results on the satisfaction variable have a value of 0.585, which means the satisfaction variable influenced by service quality, facilities and price is only 58.5%. The results of this research show that: (1)There is an influence of service quality on satisfaction with a p-value (0.003) (2)There is an influence of facilities on satisfaction with a p-value (0.001). (3)There is an influence of price on satisfaction with a p-value (0.000). (4)There is an influence of service quality on loyalty with a p-value (0.001). (5)There is an influence of facilities on loyalty with a p-value (0.001). (6)There is an influence of price on loyalty with a p-value (0.000). (7)There is an influence of satisfaction on loyalty with a value of p-(0.001) (8)There is an influence of service quality mediated by satisfaction on loyalty with a value of p-(0.005). (9)There is an influence of facilities mediated by satisfaction on loyalty with a p-value (0.001). (10)There is an influence of price mediated by satisfaction on loyalty with a p-value (0.005).

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of promotion, service quality, and emotional bonding on customer loyalty at PLN Tanjung Pura ULP, mediated by customer satisfaction through the PLN Mobile application. Utilizing a quantitative approach with structural equation modeling, the study reveals that promotion and service quality significantly influence customer satisfaction, subsequently affecting customer loyalty. The findings emphasize the importance of effective promotional strategies, high service quality, and emotional connections in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Recommendations include promoting PLN Mobile adoption through step-by-step guidance, improving service quality through employee training and customer feedback, and fostering emotional bonds with special offers for loyal users. Overall, the study highlights the interconnected dynamics shaping customer loyalty in the context of PLN Mobile usage.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the JNE Main Branch in Medan where this study was conducted to determine how the influence of the service marketing mix consists of: Products (X1), Price (X2), Promotion (X3), Locations (X4), People (X5), Physical Evidence (X6), and Process (X7) on Purchase Decisions (Y) consumers which mediation by consumer trust to use service of JNE Main Branch Medan. The population in this study were 5.400 consumers with 185 samples taken. The research was conducted from August to October 2023. This study used quantitative data which was processed using SEM-PLS analysis model with Smart PLS 3.0. application. Data sources used primary data taken directly from respondents and secondary one was obtained from interviews with JNE Main Branch Management. The results of the research show that product, price, promotion, place, employees, physical evidence, processes and customer trust have a positive and significant effect on customers' purchasing decisions to use JNE Medan Main Branch services. Meanwhile, consumer trust in this research can mediate the influence of product, price, promotion, place, employees, physiscal evidence and processes on customer purchasing decisions at JNE Medan Main Branch

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk dan online customer review terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu ventela di marketplace shopee pada mahasiswa aktif Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner melalui google form. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji f dan uji determinasi dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu ventela di marketplace shopee; 2) online customer review berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu ventela di marketplace shopee; 3) kualitas produk dan online customer review berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian sepatu ventela di marketplace shopee.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and career enhancement with occupational health and safety as an intervening variable at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Pematangsiantar. There is no influence of competence on improving employee careers within PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Pematangsiantar and improving employee health and safety. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample amounted to 130 people consisting of 92 employees scattered in the Customer Service Unit (ULP) and 48 people who were in the Customer Service Unit Office (UP3) Pematang siantar. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that there was one hypothesis that was rejected, namely employee competence and career advancement had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance and occupational health and safety on career advancement through competency improvement and six more hypotheses were accepted. These findings indicate that improving individual competencies is key in career advancement towards performance with OHS as the main objective. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations continue to encourage competency improvement to improve performance so that employee career advancement is also aligned with competency improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work environment on employee performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable at the Medan Belawan District Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 51 employees as respondents. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique so that the data obtained is in accordance with the research objectives. The data were analyzed using path analysis techniques to determine the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. The work environment has a positive but insignificant effect on organizational commitment, so its indirect effect on employee performance is also positive but insignificant. Organizational commitment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Thus, organizational commitment acts as an intervening variable that mediates the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance but not the work environment. The results of this study are expected to be input for leaders in improving employee performance through the application of a transformational leadership style, creating a conducive work environment, and strengthening organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job promotion and job training on employee performance, with job ability as an intervening variable at the Medan City Education and Culture Office, North Sumatra Province. The problem raised in this study is the suboptimal improvement of employee performance even though promotion and training programs have been implemented. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 113 permanent employees at the Elementary School and Guidance unit, selected by total sampling. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that there were two rejected hypotheses, namely job promotion had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance and job training on performance through employee ability and five more hypotheses were accepted. These findings indicate that improving individual competence is key to optimizing the results of human resource management policies. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations continue to encourage performance-based promotions and training that is in accordance with work needs to improve employee performance as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work quality and work environment on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Medan Sunggal District Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Medan Sunggal District Office, totaling 90 people. The data analysis technique used was Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results of the study indicate that work quality has a positive and significant effect on employee performance both directly and through job satisfaction. The work environment also has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance, but through job satisfaction it has a positive and significant effect. In addition, job satisfaction has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction also significantly mediates the effect of work quality and work environment on employee performance. These findings indicate that improving work quality and a good work environment will encourage higher job satisfaction, which ultimately improves employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of employee transfers and job promotions on employee performance, both directly and through job satisfaction as a mediating variable at the Regional Revenue Agency of North Sumatra Province. Transfers and promotions are part of human resource management that are expected to improve employee motivation and performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 90 respondents who were employees at the agency. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of the study indicate that employee transfers directly have a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance, but their indirect effect through job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect. Employee transfers also have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job promotions, both directly and through job satisfaction, have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job promotions have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, as well as job satisfaction on employee performance also has a positive and significant effect.
