Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul “IbM Pengembangan Taman Baca Digital sebagai Sumber Belajar bagi Masyarakat Pesona 2 Cilebut Barat Kabupaten Bogor” ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan minat baca dan literasi masyarakat khususnya yang berada di lingkungan mitra yaitu di Pesona 2, Desa Cilebut Barat, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Kegiatan ini melibatkan mitra yang terdiri dari orang tua, pemuda, remaja, dan anak-anak di lingkungan mitra. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan kunjungan awal untuk menganalisis situasi dan kebutuhan masyarakat di lokasi. Dari hasil kunjungan berhasil diidentifikasi dan disepakati bahwa kegiatan Abdimas difokuskan pada pengembangan taman baca masyarakat (TBM) konvensional berbasis buku cetak. Namun, ketika memasuki bulan Maret 2020, sesuai dengan pengumuman dari Pemerintah Republik Indonesia yang menyatakan bahwa Indonesia juga mengalami pandemi Covid-19 dan mulai diberlakukan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB), maka perencanaan awal berubah menjadi taman baca digital masyarakat (TBDM) berbasis teknologi paperless. Monitoring dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan Abdimas dilakukan di akhir kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mitra antusias mengikuti kegiatan di TBDM dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Mayoritas para pengunjung TBDM adalah para anak usia sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah pertama, meskipun pada beberapa kesempatan ada pengunjung yang berasal dari latar belakang guru sekolah menengah kejuruan, mahasiswa, dan pekerja.

Abstract

Beban listrik adalah suatu perangkat alat yang dapat berfungsi jika dialiri arus listrik. Perangkat alat tersebut digunakan untuk merubah energi listrik menjadi energi lain misalnya gerak, panas, cahaya dan lain sebagainya. Beban listrik terdiri dari beban linier dan beban non linier. Meningkatnya penggunaan beban non linier antara lain contohnya motor induksi, penyearah, static power converter (rectifiers atau inverters), ballast elektronik menyebabkan timbulnya harmonisa. Harmonisa merupakan gelombang sinusoidal dengan frekuensi yang merupakan kelipatan bulat dari frekuensi fundamentalnya. Harmonisa dapat mempengaruhi fungsi kerja miniature circuit breaker (MCB) yaitu menimbulkan pemanasan lebih pada bimetal sehingga terjadi abnormal pada proses pemutusan rangkaian. Untuk perbandingan penelitian ini juga dilakukan pengujian menggunakan beban linier berupa lampu pijar dan elemen pemanas, sedangkan untuk pengujian dengan beban non linier berupa motor induksi. Arus yang dialirkan sebesar 1,5 x In MCB. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan harmonisa mempengaruhi fungsi kerja MCB dimana besaran distorsi harmonisa (THD) mempengaruhi waktu pemutusan rangkaian oleh MCB menjadi lebih cepat, seperti pada pengujian beban non linier yaitu membutuhkan waktu 48 detik sedangkan pada pengujian beban linier membutuhkan waktu 127 detik.

Abstract

This research discusses radicalism in the name of religion that is increasingly emerging in recent decades. The radicalism is growing and grabbing the public's attention. One of them is the case of the recruitment of innocent children and youth in hardline and extreme organizations for purposes that endanger the public. This group of teenagers is usually still psychologically unstable so it is easy to be indoctrinated with incorrect religious teachings and understanding. Looking at the case, the authors was interested in researching the Islamic Youth group Baitul Ma'mur Mosque (RAISMA) Sampora Village, Cilimus District, Kuningan Regency whose coaching system is carried out through the Direct System Da'wah method (DSL). Uniquely, the youth coaching of this mosque continues to survive in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, by of course implementing health protocols. The question then: Does the Group of Islamic Youth Baitul Ma'mur Mosque (RAISMA) fall into the category infiltrated by radicalism or vice versa, the silencer? Then, how exactly is DSL model developed and run? This research method uses qualitative approach with literature study analysis. To explore the data, the authors also used data collection techniques through interviews and the dissemination of questionnaires. The data obtained are then arranged regularly and systematically to be analyzed with qualitative approach.

Abstract

This paper presents the findings of research on the application of contextual learning on the circle material to improve the ability of problem solving math. This studi aims to determine the action of class VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Cibingbin, Kuningan regency. Research activities are carried out through lessons learned in two cycles. Based on the result of research shows that the result of student learningon the cycle 1 and the cycle 2 has experienced a significant increase. In cycle 1 the average score is 68,00 with 50 % completeness, while in cycle 2it is obtained an average of 80,31 with completeness 81,25 %. It shows an increase in average score of 12,31 an increase in learning mastery of 31,25 %. From the contextual response of the contextual learning on the circle material has made an excellent response from the students of SMP Negeri 1 Cibingbin, wich is 92,19 %. Furthermore, seen from teacher performance activity also there is improvement. If in the first Cycle the tacher’s performance earned an average score of 83,00 which is included in the criterion well, then in the second melt the average value of 92,00 which is included in the excellent category

Abstract

AC merupakan produk elektronik yang memerlukan perawatan berkala serta pengerjaannya yang memerlukan pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang memadai. Kurang perawatan pada AC dapat menimbulkan masalah-masalah kecil, dan bila terjadi terus menerus dan dibiarkan, maka akan timbul permasalahan yang lebih besar seperti mati total. Tujuan pelatihan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengetahuan dan perawatan pada sistem pendingin AC Split rumah tangga serta pemanfaatannya melalui kewirausahaan. Pelaksanaan program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan metode yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan pelaksanaan, yaitu tahapan persiapan, implementasi/pelaksanaan, dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dan pembahasan dari PkM ini adalah pengabdian dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan dengan temuan bahwa terbatasnya variasi dari jenis-jenis AC Split yang digunakan dalam pelatihan. Hal ini dikarenakan sulitnya jenis-jenis AC lainnya untuk didapatkan dan membutuhkan dana yang cukup besar dalam pengadaannya. Penyampaian materi pelatihan dilakukan secara langsung dan santai, hal ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kedekatan dengan peserta, dan peserta dengan mudah mendapatkan akses ke peralatan yang akan digunakan dalam melakukan praktik servis AC. Kata kunci: AC; Split; Sistem; Pendingin; Pelatihan

Abstract

 Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diselenggarakan dengan melakukan suatu penyampaian materi, pelatihan, dan praktik dengan tujuan untuk memberi ketrampilan bagi karang taruna dan pemuda dalam melakukan pemasangan maupun perbaikan instalasi listrik menggulung motor pompa air secara mandiri selain itu juga memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mengenai pengendalian, proteksi dan pemeliharaan motor listrik. Pelaksanaan program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini menggunakan metode yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan pelaksanaan, yaitu tahapan persiapan, implementasi/pelaksanaan, dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dan pembahasan dari PkM ini adalah pPengabdian dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan dengan temuan bahwa terbatasnya variasi dari jenis-jenis motor listrik yang digunakan dalam pelatihan. Abstract

This paper reports the outcomes of a ‘Community Service’ activity related to the integration of technology in English language teaching in Indonesia in the 21st century. The activity was conducted for junior high school English language teachers in Depok District, Indonesia. It outlines the opportunities and challenges faced by teachers in incorporating technology into their teaching and learning processes. Key themes emerging from the activity, include enhancing English language proficiency, increasing engagement and motivation, developing 21st-century skills, cultural exchange and global awareness, as well as the role of teachers and professional development. However, the effectiveness of technology integration heavily relies on the teachers' proficiency, availability of infrastructure, and pedagogical adaptation. The findings of the activity highlight the importance of comprehensive teacher training programs, improvements in educational infrastructure, and a pedagogical shift towards a curriculum more inclusive of technology. Recommendations include enhancing collaboration among stakeholders to support a technology-enriched learning environment to meet the evolving needs of learners in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop puzzle media in learning how to read symbols/images with the Know Want Learned method to improve reading comprehension skills in fourth grade students, (2) describe the quality and feasibility of learning media products in the form of puzzles using the know want learned method. in improving the reading comprehension ability of fourth grade students. This study uses research and development procedures (Research and Development). The media puzzle development procedure consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product trials are carried out on a small and large scale. The population is 10 elementary schools in Cluster I Ki Hajar Dewantoro, Ngargoyoso district, sample 3 public elementary schools. Data collection techniques using tests, observations, journals, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is in the form of data analysis of puzzle media products, prerequisite test, and discriminatory test. The results showed that the puzzle learning media that the researcher developed referred to the needs of students and teachers needs, with the aim of improving students reading comprehension skills. The puzzle media that the researcher developed is an educational learning media in the form of a rectangle with a size of 20 cm x 30 cm made of staff so that it is safe for students to use as learning media. The puzzle media that the researcher developed included symbol puzzles, symbol puzzles, and symbol/image puzzles. This Puzzle Learning Media is effectively used in learning how to read symbols/pictures because it can improve reading comprehension skills for fourth grade elementary school students in Cluster I Ki Hajar Dewantoro. Abstract

Public street lighting, also known as street lighting, refers to the outdoor lighting systems used to illuminate public roads. An effective street lighting system plays a crucial role in enhancing safety and security for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists by providing improved visibility of the road and surrounding terrain during nighttime hours. The primary focus in street lighting planning is on economic factors. An analysis of light sources has highlighted the economic advantages of utilizing light emitting diodes for public street lighting. This choice proves to be more efficient when implemented in a sustainable manner. The installation of public street lighting can be the optimal solution to address the issue of inadequate lighting in the village of Pedurenan Gunung Sindur Bogor, ensuring enhanced comfort and security during nighttime activities. The lighting installation process commences with a thorough examination of the site, followed by diligently arranging and design of the electrical installations for the lighting system. Finally, the planned design was carried out and implemented. The implementation of public street lighting is a collaborative effort between college students and youth residents in the village. The outcome of this community service initiative is the implementation of public street lighting installations that offer optimal illumination, ensuring the convenience and safety for all people accessing the roads.
