Abstract

To resolve environmental and literacy issues in Indonesia, the government has strived for schools like the School Literacy Movement/ Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) and internalizing values ​​of environmental in the curriculum. But unfortunately, the movement is considered to touch dimensions of formal education in the school and has not yet penetrated massively in some segments of society. One segmentation of the community that has not been touched is the Prison. Therefore, we hold community at the Salemba Prison Klas IIA in Percetakan Negara Street, No.88 A, RT.12/RW.4, Rawasari, Cempaka Putih, Jakarta Pusat. This training is aimed at the prison of children under the age of 17 years totaling 40 children. This activity is expected to be able for providing education based on eco-literacy as their experience when leaving prison. The method used during the process of implementing this program is the scaffolding method through participatory. The training involved lecturers at the Faculty of Education at Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, in collaboration with the Salemba Prison Klas IIA, Central Jakarta. This program will be held on November 28, 2019, with topics expected to be able for teaching children in prison to love and respect the natural environment as an important part of life and be able to produce poetry that can be accepted by the community. Keywords: Ecoliteracy, Scaffolding Method, Poetry Abstrak Dalam rangka mengatasi persoalan lingkungan dan literasi di Indonesia, pemerintah telah mengupayakan gerakan-gerakan berbasis sekolah seperti melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai kepedulian lingkungan dalam muatan kurikulum di sekolah maupun peluncuran program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Namun sayangnya gerakan tersebut dianggap lebih banyak menyentuh dimensi pendidikan formal di lingkungan sekolah dan belum merambah secara masif pada beberapa segmentasi masyarakat. Salah satu segmentasi masyarakat yang belum tersentuh adalah satuan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan. Oleh karena itu, kami mengadakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIA Salemba terletak di Jalan Percetakan Negara No.88 A, RT.12/RW.4, Rawasari, Cempaka Putih, Kota Jakarta Pusat. Pelatihan ini ditujukan pada penghuni lapas anak di bawah usia 17 tahun yang berjumlah 40 anak dengan harapan mereka mampu mendapatkan layanan pendidikan berbasis ecoliteracy sebagai bekal mereka ketika berbaur dengan masyarakat yang lebih luas pasca keluar dari lapas. Metode yang digunakan selama proses pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah metode scaffolding melalui kaji tindak partisipatif. Pelatihan ini melibatkan dosen Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya yang bekerjasama dengan pihak Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Salemba Klas IIA Salemba Jakarta Pusat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 November 2019 dengan topik yang diharapkan mampu mengedukasi para anak-anak penghuni lapas untuk mencintai dan menghargai lingkungan alam sebagai bagian penting dari kehidupan serta mampu menghasilkan karya sastra berupa puisi yang dapat diterima oleh masyarakat. Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman matematis menurut Skemp dikelompokkan menjadi dua yaitu kemampuan pemahaman instrumental dan relasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa PGSD masih kurang. Siswa yang berada pada kategori unggul sudah mampu menyelesaikan soal statistik yang mengkur kemampuan pemahaman instrumental dan relasional. Namun, dalam menyeleasikan soal yang mengkur kemampuan pemahaman relasional masih kurang efektif. Mahsiswa yang berada pada kategori papak dan asor hanya mencapai kemampaun instrumental.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and understand (1) the process of improving scientific essay writing skills through a heutagogical approach to online learning and (2) the effectiveness of applying the heutagogical approach to improving students' scientific essay writing skills. The method used is action research. The research was conducted on students at a university in Jakarta, Indonesia. This research is participatory and collaborative and takes place in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected through writing tests and observations. The writing test results were assessed using the speech writing assessment guidelines. The results showed that applying the heutagogical approach in online learning could improve students' scientific essay writing skills. The mean score on the initial test was 67.88, with only 37.2% getting a score of 75. In the first cycle, the average value increased to 74.49 with a success percentage of 60.5, and in the second cycle, the average value increased to 78.95 with a success percentage of 81.4%. From the research results, it can be concluded that the heutagogical approach can improve students' scientific writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Pancasila in the era of disruption to be an important part that every individual must realize that this era must be passed and become a challenge in current developments. Changes that are increasingly fast are encouraging and requiring us to innovate. The ability to innovate is one strategy in maintaining our existence in this era. The development of this era has an impact on various existing fields, one of which is education. Education is an important aspect which is one of the means to achieve the national goals of the Indonesian nation. The method used is a qualitative descriptive case study research method for elementary school students in South Jakarta. The data source is elementary schools in Pasar Minggu sub-district. The research data is in the form of descriptions of the utterances of several informants who describe the role of Pancasila. The subjects of this study were elementary school students in Pasar Minggu sub-district with the object, namely 50 students and 10 class teachers. The results showed that the role of civic education for elementary school students and learning civics education is fun. Thus, creating a new paradigm even though the times are increasingly rapid, elementary school students still instill character values according to the noble culture of courtesy and ethics. The function of civic education is implemented in a habit of anticipating and overcoming moral crises in elementary school students in South Jakarta.

Abstract

Implementing online learning amid the Covid-19 Pandemic has caused problems for teachers and students at the elementary school education unit level. This study aims to obtain a comprehensive picture of the implementation of online learning. The approach used is descriptive and qualitative with the case study method. The results of this study are online learning conducted at SDN Harapan Jaya IX by using learning media in the form of videos and social media WhatsApp. The school made efforts to implement online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic by providing teachers with training in using and using electronic media in learning. The availability of facilities and infrastructure to support online learning in schools has been fulfilled for teachers and students. The school has provided facilities in the form of Wifi, and an internet quota for teachers, so teachers do not spend their money buying packages. Furthermore, the evaluation of learning is carried out by giving assignments and evaluating the process of student activity during the online learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Berbagai kebijakan untuk menanggulangi pandemi Covid-19 dikeluarkan pemerintah. Sejak diumumkannya pada 2 Maret 2020 adanya warga Indonesia yang terpapaar Covid-19 telah merubah tatanan hidup di masyarakat, hingga saat ini. Tidak hanya pada sektor ekonomi yang berdampak, dalam bidang pendidikan pun telah melahirkan permasalahan baru sehingga mewajibkan proses pembelajaran guru dan siswa untuk sementara waktu dilakukan dari rumah. Hal demikian perlu dilaksanakan untuk meminimalisir kontak fisik secara massal, untuk dapat memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19, namun demikian, pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring rupanya menimbulkan permasalahan tersendiri. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah guna memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait bagaimana proses pembelajaran selama masa Pandemi melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat serta memberikan solusi permasalahan pembelajaran jarak jauh khususnya bagi guru dan siswa yang mengalami beberapa kendala dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh, melalui media pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan). Metode dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan simulasi kepada guru dan siswa di SDN Harapan Jaya IX Bekasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memecahkan permasalahan pembelajaran jarak jauh selama masa pandemi Covid 19. Kata Kunci: Dinamika, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh, Covid 19.  ABSTRACT The government has issued various policies to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. Since it was announced on March 2, 2020, the existence of Indonesian citizens who were exposed to Covid-19 has changed the order of life in society, until now. It is not only the economic sector that has an impact, but also in the education sector, new problems have emerged that require the learning process of teachers and students to be temporarily carried out from home. This needs to be done to minimize mass physical contact, to be able to break the chain of spreading the Covid-19 virus, however, the implementation of online learning seems to cause its own problems. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to the community regarding the learning process during the Pandemic through community service activities and provide solutions to distance learning problems, especially for teachers and students who experience some obstacles in distance learning, through online learning media (on the network). The method is carried out by providing counseling and simulations to teachers and students at SDN Harapan Jaya IX Bekasi. The results of this community service activity are in the form of knowledge and skills in solving distance learning problems during the Covid 19 pandemic. Keywords: Dynamics, Distance Learning, Covid 19

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku anak usia sekolah, dengan meneliti perilaku anak usia Sekolah dalam pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba di kelurahan Sukabumi Utara, Jakarta barat, dikarenakan lingkungan tersebut Rawan terhadap penyebaran dan transaksi Narkoba, maka peneliti ingin meneliti yang bertema “Analisis Tingkat Perilaku Anak Usia Sekolah dalam Pencegahan Penyalahgunaan Narkoba di Kelurahan Sukabumi Utara, Jakarta Barat”. Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi salah satu sektor yang harus beradapatasi akibat pesatnya perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi kebutuhan agar tercipta proses dan hasil pendidikan yang berkualitas dan sesuai perkembangan zaman. Virtual reality sebagai salah teknologi yang sedang dikembangkan dalam dunia pendidikan. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran teknologi virtual reality yang digunakan sebagai media untuk membangun kemampuan dialogis siswa di dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah studi pustaka. Data diambil dari berbagai literatur yang relevan berupa buku, artikel, jurnal, maupun sumber-sumber tertulis lainnya. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan dikaji sedemikian memperoleh hasil kajian yang disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil kajian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa teknologi virtual reality dapat berperan untuk membangun kemampuan dialogis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peran tersebut akan maksimal bilamana guru mampu membuat dan menyajikan konten pembelajaran yang mampu menstimulus siswa untuk mengkritisi sebuah masalah dan mendorong siswa membangun dialog serta berargumen dengan siswa lain.

Abstract

The pandemic that has been going on for more than two years has changed many things, including the activity patterns of students. Not only that, this condition is exacerbated by the poor eating habits of students in various schools. problems related to the nutritional condition of students. The nutritional condition of SD Negeri Kebalen 01 Bekasi students is closely related to the consumption patterns adopted by students in their daily life in the school environment. Students seem to enjoy consuming snacks and drinks with high levels of sugar, flavourings, and salt. The next problem that is seen in students is the drastic reduction in physical activity carried out by students outside the school environment. This is due to the habits of students who spend more time playing smartphones and the various game applications contained in them. The purpose of carrying out this community service activity is to instill an understanding of the importance of healthy living behavior through strengthening the 'Healthy Schools' campaign. The method used in this activity is counseling. The results of the activity show that the activity has been running without significant obstacles where the participants' involvement in the whole extension process shows high enthusiasm and interest. The existence of interest, attention and high motivation makes the potential of participants in understanding the material presented wide open implementation.
