Abstract

Aesthetic qualities assessment on sidewalks needs to be done to find out people's perceptions and preferences regarding the characteristics of the road landscape environment especially in relation to the use and influence of the curb trees visually. This study aims to study and evaluate the visual aesthetic qualities of trees in the landscape of the road and to study the visual perceptions of canopy and flower form on the trees. The simulation study was conducted on the landscape of Soekarno Hatta Road Malang City, considering the function of the road as a common circulation path and has a clear landuse. This research was conducted by survey method, literature study and simulation. Stages of research activities include: (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage and (3) data processing and recommendation stage. At the processing stage carried out the processing and analysis of questionnaire data of respondents who have done using SBE and SD. The identification done on Soekarno Hatta road landscape to the type and number of trees there are several types of vegetation Trembesi (Samaneasaman) with the amount of 50, Mangga (Mangiferaindica) with the amount of 5, Angsana (Pterocarpusinsidus) with the number of 65 and Palem king (Roystonearegia) The analysis of visual quality performed, it is known that the highest value of SBE has an average value between 47.05-87,26, the value of SBE is having average value between 20,76-43,34, low value of SBE has the average value, average between 2.62-19.53. Semantic Differential Analysis conducted, it is known that the highest SD value has a value> 1.7. A high-quality visual landscape represents a landscape that looks cool, beautiful, spacious, organized, and clean. Analysis performed, it is known that the lowest SD value has a value 1,7. Lanskap kualitas visual tinggi menggambarkan lanskap yang terlihat sejuk, indah, luas, tertata, dan bersih. Analisa yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa nilai SD terendah memiliki nilai < 1,7. Lanskap kualitas visual rendah menggambarkan lanskap yang terlihat gersang, sempit, berantakan, jelek dan kotor.

Abstract

Kayong Utara Regency is an area that is under construction but ironically the development is not accompanied by the construction of green open space in the form of an environmental park which is one of the needs for the community to express and move. The process of community development and development increasingly shifts the characteristics of the cultural landscape so that Kayong Utara Regency does not have an identity in architectural or cultural landscape characteristics. This study aims to design a Melayu-based environmental park to fulfill the existence of green open space and to show the identity of the Melayu cultural landscape. The research consisted of the stage of historical search to explore elements of Melayu culture using descriptive methods through alliteration, field surveys and interviews and design activities that refer to the Booth (1983) design process with stages namely reviewing the location of research and data inventory, analysis and synthesis, design process, planning and design drawings. This park is designed with a recreational and cultural-value park concept with a form inspired by durian batik motifs and forest flowers applied to the park and circulation patterns and amphitheater and sclupture formations which have the meaning of a story about the meeting of Princess Junjung Buih from Kalimantan and Prince Indrawijaya from The Majapahit Kingdom is called the Pupuk Teguih story. Kabupaten Kayong Utara merupakan daerah yang sedang dalam masa pembangunan tetapi ironinya pembangunan tersebut tidak disertai dengan pembangunan ruang terbuka hijau berupa taman lingkungan yang menjadi salah satu kebutuhan bagi masyarakat untuk berekspresi maupun beraktivitas. Proses pembangunan dan perkembangan masyarakat semakin menggeser karakteristik lanskap budaya sehingga Kabupaten Kayong Utara tidak memiliki identitas dalam karakteristik arsitektur maupun lanskap budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain taman lingkungan berbasis budaya Melayu untuk memenuhi keberadaan ruang terbuka hijau serta untuk menunjukkan identitas lanskap budaya Melayu. Pelaksanaan penelitian terdiri dari tahap penelusuran sejarah untuk menggali unsur budaya Melayu menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui aliterasi, survei lapang dan wawancara dan kegiatan desain yang mengacu pada proses desain Booth (1983) dengan tahapan-tahapan yaitu peninjauan lokasi penelitian dan inventarisasi data, analisis dan sintesis, proses desain, gambar perencanaan dan perancangan. Taman ini didesain dengan konsep taman yang bersifat rekreatif dan bernilai budaya dengan bentukan yang terinspirasi dari motif batik durian dan bunga hutan yang diaplikasikan pada pola taman dan sirkulasi serta amphitheater dan bentukan sclupture yang memiliki makna cerita tentang pertemuan Putri Junjung Buih dari Kalimantan dan Pangeran Indrawijaya dari Kerajaan Majapahit yang disebut dengan kisah Pupuk Teguih.

Abstract

Temporary disposal sites (TPS) are places that are used to accommodate garbage from the community. In general, the waste produced is followed up by storage, collection, transfer and processing. The existing landfill is still lacking and has not been in accordance with SNI standards. For this reason, this research was conducted by identifying and evaluating the location of the appropriate and optimal TPS location in the city of Ende. Data analysis uses GIS (Geographic Information System) and uses a survey method which includes observation and recording activities in the field. Based on the field survey and data processing obtained by the existing TPS there are 18 pieces. But currently there are 8 pieces left out of 18 which are still being used while the rest have been severely damaged. The results of data analysis using GIS, can find the appropriate location for the construction of TPS. For making landscape models (TPS) according to government standards and regulations No. 18 of 2010. In making TPS models, a waste management system and facilities are planned. Based on the results of using GIS, it can be concluded that there is no TPS landscape model and it is not yet appropriate in terms of the location and capacity of the volume of waste in Ende City. Tempat pembuangan sementara (TPS) adalah tempat yang digunakan untuk menampung sampah-sampah dari masyarakat. Secara umum sampah yang dihasilkan tersebut ditindak lanjuti dengan cara pewadahan, pengumpulan, pemindahan, dan pengolahan. Tempat pembuangan eksisting ternyata masih kurang dan belum sesuai standar SNI. Untuk itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi letak lokasi TPS yang sesuai dan optimal di Kota Ende. Analisis data menggunakan SIG (Sistem Informasi Geografis) dan menggunakan metode survei yang meliputi kegiatan pengamatan dan pencatatan di lapangan. Berdasarkan survey lapangan dan pengolahan data diperoleh TPS eksisting terdapat 18 buah. Tapi saat ini dari 18 buah tersisa 8 buah yang masih digunakan sedangkan sisanya telah rusak parah. Hasil anlisis data menggunakan SIG, dapat mengetahui lokasi yang sesuai untuk pembangunan TPS. Untuk pembuatan model lanskap (TPS) sesuai standar dan peraturan pemerintah No. 18 Tahun 2010. Dalam membuat model TPS, direncanakan sistem pengolahan sampah dan dilengkapi fasilitas. Berdasarkan hasil menggunakan SIG dapat di simpulkan bahwa belum adanya model lanskap TPS dan belum sesuai ditinjau dari penempatan lokasi dan daya tampung terhadap volume sampah di Kota Ende.

Abstract

Quail farming is a promising micro business with affordable start-up capital and small land area. Quail eggs have high health value and culinary potential. Quail meat is nutritious, their droppings can be used as fertilizer, and their feathers can be made into crafts. Quail can produce up to 300 eggs per year. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and rising feed prices have made it difficult for many farmers. Maggot larvae from the black soldier fly are an economical feed alternative. This study aims to utilize maggot larvae as an economical feed source for laying quail. This research is entitled "Utilization of Maggot Larvae in the Preparation of Feed Ration for Laying Quail in Amadanom Village, Malang District." The focus of the research was to determine the optimal amount of maggot larvae as a partial replacement for manufactured feed and to evaluate the performance of laying quail receiving alternative feed. The results showed that maggot larvae have a high protein and fat content. Partial replacement of manufactured feed with maggot larvae did not affect feed consumption, egg production or daily productivity of laying quails. This indicates that maggot larvae can be an economical source of feed without compromising production. These results support the use of maggot larvae as an alternative to cope with rising feed prices and improve production efficiency of laying quail. This research provides an economical solution to maintain the layer quail farming business amidst the existing economic challenges.
