Abstract

This study aims to determine consumptive behavior in terms of the influence of fanaticism, brand minded lifestyle and self-control on University X students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a total of 221 students selected by purposive sampling technique. The data was collected using a Likert-type scale which was then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of Amos software version 22. The results showed that fanaticism had an influence on student consumptive behavior with a C.R value of 3.511 1.96 and a p value of 0.000 < 0.05. Then the brand minded lifestyle has no influence on consumptive behavior with a C.R value of -1.807 1.96 and a p value of 0.071 > 0.05. Furthermore, self-control has an influence on consumptive behavior with a C.R value of -4.433 1.96 and a p value of 0.000 <0.05

Abstract

This study examines the role of self-determination in relation to the emotional well-being of high school students attending full-day schools in Samarinda City. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. Data were collected using self-determination and emotional well-being scales. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The senior high schools that implemented the full-day school system in each sub-district in Samarinda City were grouped and allocated proportionally into eight representative schools, resulting in 359 student respondents. The results indicated a strong and significant relationship between self-determination and emotional well-being among high school students attending full-day schools in Samarinda City, as reflected by a correlation coefficient of r = 0.613. The role of self-determination contributed 37.6% to the score in emotional well-being. These findings suggest the need for further research to explore other factors influencing emotional well-being in full-day school students. Furthermore, schools are encouraged to implement programs that enhance student self-determination to support emotional well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a measurement tool for organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) that is grounded in the cultural values of Indonesian workers. Utilising a quantitative research design focused on instrument construction, the study involved 381 participants selected through accidental sampling. Data analysis employed content validity indices (I-CVI and S-CVI), as well as exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The results of content validity indicated that the statement items were appropriate for use, and the developed instrument demonstrated good validity and reliability. The instrument's structure consists of four dimensions: willingness to help coworkers, adherence to social norms, tolerance, and maintaining social harmony. The organizational citizenship behavior measuring tool consists of 12 items, with a reliability value of 0.782. The findings enrich the concept of OCB, particularly with the emergence of new dimensions, such as maintaining social harmony and tolerance, which reflect the collectivist values and workplace harmony inherent in Indonesian work culture. This instrument can be utilised by organizations in Indonesia to measure employee OCB more accurately, which can assist in human resource development planning.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangan alat ukur organizational citizenship behavior yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai budaya pekerja Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan fokus pada konstruksi alat ukur, dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 381 dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan indeks validitas isi (I-CVI dan S-CVI), eksploratory factor analysis dan confirmatory factor analysis. Hasil validitas isi menunjukkan bahwa item pernyataan layak untuk digunakan, dan instrumen yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik, dengan struktur empat dimensi yaitu kesediaan membantu rekan kerja, kepatuhan terhadap norma sosial, toleransi dan menjaga harmoni sosial. Alat ukur organizatioonal citizenship behavior memiliki 12 item dengan nilai reliabilitas 0,782. Temuan penelitian memperkaya konsep OCB khususnya dengan munculnya dimensi baru seperi menjaga harmoni sosial dan toleransi yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai kolektivisme dan kerukunan dalam budaya kerja Indonesia.  Instrumen yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh organisasi di Indonesia untuk mengukur OCB pegawai secara lebih akurat, yang nantinya dapat membantu dalam perencanaan program pengembangan SDM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan dan memvalidasi alat ukur resiliensi akademik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan google form dan didapatkan responden penelitian sebanyak 160 mahasiswa. Alat ukur ini disusun oleh peneliti melalui beberapa tahapan yang telah dilewati dan diperoleh 4 dimensi resiliensi akademik dengan jumlah 27 item. Metode analisa data yang dilakukan adalah analisis faktor ekploratori (EFA). Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 4 faktor yang terbentuk yaitu ketangguhan akademik, pemecahan masalah akademik, kecerdasan menghadapi kesulitan dan penyesuaian diri adapun jumlah item pernyataan dari 4 faktor yang terbentuk sebanyak 27 item dan relibilitas resilensi akademik dengan kofisien alpha = 0.784

Abstract

The SIKAP IDAMAN application as a digital innovation in civil service management, providing access to daily performance reports (LKH), performance data, and employee discipline mapping. However, its implementation has presented psychological challenges, particularly technostress among employees. This study aims to explore the influence of perceived organizational support and technology acceptance on technostress among civil servants in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 36 employees from the Inspectorate Office who actively use the SIKAP IDAMAN application. Mediation analysis was conducted using JASP software version 0.14.1.0 to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that perceived organizational support significantly influences technostress through technology acceptance (p = 0.036). Perceived organizational support also has a direct negative effect on technostress (p = 0.000) with a path coefficient of -0.281 (low category, f² = 0.111). Furthermore, organizational support significantly influences technology acceptance (p = 0.000) with a path coefficient of 0.849 (high category, f² = 2.584). Technology acceptance also negatively affects technostress (p = 0.031) with a path coefficient of -0.448 (moderate category, f² = 0.154). These findings highlight the importance of technology acceptance as a mediating factor in reducing technostress, and emphasize the critical role of organizational support in facilitating successful technology adaptation among civil servants. Abstract

Drug abuse has become a serious issue in Sindang Sari Village, Samarinda, due to the lack of understanding about the dangers of drugs. The aim of this community service by the researchers is to enhance the knowledge of the KB Village (Quality Family) cadres on drug prevention and the crucial role of parents in shaping resilient children. The counseling method was carried out by students of Psychology and Social and Political Sciences to 13 members of the PKK, and the evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant increase in the knowledge of the KB Village cadres after the counseling (mean pre-test: 4.83, mean post-test: 6.92). It was concluded that there was an increase in understanding and knowledge regarding drug-free parenting among PKK members.. This research highlights the family as a primary stronghold in preventing drug abuse. Proper parenting practices can help children avoid misuse of substance. Therefore, it is crucial to strengthen the role of families in drug prevention efforts.Penyalahgunaan narkoba menjadi permasalahan serius di Kelurahan Sindang Sari, Samarinda, dengan minimnya pemahaman tentang bahayanya narkoba. Tujuan pengabdian dari peneliti untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota kampung KB (keluarga Berkualitas) tentang pencegahan narkoba dan peran penting orang tua dalam membentuk anak yang tangguh. Metode Penyuluhan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Psikologi Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik kepada 13 anggota PKK dan evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan anggota kampung KB setelah penyuluhan (mean pre-test: 4.83, mean post-test: 6.92). Disimpulkan bahwa meningkatnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai pola asuh yang bebas narkoba pada anggota PKK. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keluarga merupakan benteng utama dalam pencegahan narkoba. Pola asuh yang tepat dari orang tua dapat membantu anak-anak terhindar dari penyalahgunaan narkoba. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk meningkatkan peran keluarga dalam upaya pencegahan narkoba.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology requires teachers to adapt to various digital systems used in learning and school administration. This condition has the potential to create technostress, defined as pressure resulting from intensive technology use. However, based on the concept of eustress, a certain level of pressure can serve as positive stimulation that enhances performance. This study aims to examine the effect of technostress on the performance of public junior high school teachers in Tenggarong. A quantitative approach was employed with a sample of 100 teachers selected through simple random sampling. The instruments used were a technostress scale and a teacher performance scale, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that the calculated F value exceeds the F table value (F = 214.534; R² = 0.686; p = 0.000), indicating a significant effect of technostress on teacher performance with a contribution of 68.6%. These findings suggest that technological pressure does not always have a negative impact; instead, it can function as eustress that promotes digital adaptation, resilience, and improved performance. This study contributes by highlighting the positive role of technostress and emphasizing the importance of managing it to enhance teacher performance in the digital era.Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat menuntut guru untuk beradaptasi dengan berbagai sistem digital dalam proses pembelajaran maupun administrasi sekolah. Kondisi ini berpotensi menimbulkan technostress, yaitu tekanan yang muncul akibat penggunaan teknologi secara intensif. Namun, berdasarkan teori eustress, tekanan pada tingkat tertentu dapat menjadi stimulus positif yang mendorong peningkatan kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh technostress terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Tenggarong. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 100 guru yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala technostress dan skala kinerja guru, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel (F = 214.534; R² = 0.686; p = 0.000), sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara technostress terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 68,6%.Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tekanan teknologi tidak selalu berdampak negatif, melainkan dapat berfungsi sebagai eustress yang mendorong adaptasi digital, ketahanan diri, dan peningkatan kinerja. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperluas pemahaman mengenai peran positif technostress serta menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan technostress sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di era digital.

Abstract

Increasingly competitive job markets require students to possess strong work skills, including the ability to prepare an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)-based CV. However, some students still lack a grasp of CV standards that align with modern recruitment systems. This community service activity aims to improve students' work skills through ATS-based CV preparation training. The method used was an interactive workshop for 32 fourth- and sixth-semester psychology students, covering employment topics, ATS concepts, CV preparation practices, and mentoring. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests using an employment scale and an ATS CV knowledge questionnaire. Results showed a 55.17% increase in work skills (from 58 to 90) and a 56.67% increase in CV preparation knowledge and skills (from 60 to 94). These findings demonstrate that practice-based training is effective in improving students' work readiness and is relevant to today's digital recruitment needs.Persaingan kerja yang semakin sulit menuntut mahasiswa memiliki employability yang baik, termasuk kemampuan menyusun CV berbasis Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Namun, sebagian mahasiswa masih belum memahami standar CV yang sesuai dengan sistem rekrutmen modern. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan employability mahasiswa melalui pelatihan penyusunan CV berbasis ATS. Metode yang digunakan adalah workshop interaktif kepada 32 mahasiswa psikologi semester 4 dan 6, yang mencakup materi employability, konsep ATS, praktik penyusunan CV, serta pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan skala employability dan kuesioner pengetahuan CV ATS. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan employability sebesar 55,17% (skor 58 menjadi 90) dan peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan penyusunan CV sebesar 56,67% (skor 60 menjadi 94). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa dan relevan dengan kebutuhan rekrutmen digital saat ini.

Abstract

Organizational change has become an inevitable phenomenon in the public sector, driven by rapid technological advancement, administrative reform, and increasing public demands for efficient and transparent services, requiring not only structural adjustments but also strong individual readiness to ensure successful transformation. This study aims to examine individual readiness for organizational change in public sector organizations by focusing on psychological, organizational, and technological factors that influence such readiness. The research employs a systematic literature review method, analyzing peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020–2026 in English, covering psychological dimensions such as self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, and resilience; organizational aspects including leadership, culture, and support; and technological elements such as digital competence and literacy. The findings reveal that individual readiness is shaped by the interaction between internal and external factors, where psychological aspects like self-efficacy, perception of change, intrinsic motivation, coping capacity, and adaptability play a critical role, while supportive leadership, effective communication, adaptive organizational culture, and institutional support further strengthen readiness; moreover, the growing integration of digital technologies increases the demand for technical skills, cognitive preparedness, and behavioral acceptance. The study implies that comprehensive change management strategies are essential, emphasizing the strengthening of psychological factors, enhancement of organizational support systems, and development of technological competencies through continuous training, participatory communication, and the cultivation of an adaptive organizational culture to support effective and sustainable public sector transformation.Perubahan organisasi telah menjadi fenomena yang tidak terhindarkan di sektor publik, didorong oleh pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, reformasi administrasi, serta meningkatnya tuntutan masyarakat akan layanan yang efisien dan transparan, sehingga memerlukan tidak hanya penyesuaian struktural tetapi juga kesiapan individu yang kuat untuk memastikan keberhasilan proses transformasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesiapan individu dalam menghadapi perubahan organisasi di sektor publik dengan menitikberatkan pada faktor psikologis, organisasional, dan teknologi yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan menganalisis artikel jurnal terindeks yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2020–2026 dalam bahasa Inggris, yang mencakup dimensi psikologis seperti self-efficacy, motivasi intrinsik, dan resiliensi; aspek organisasional seperti kepemimpinan, budaya, dan dukungan; serta elemen teknologi seperti kompetensi dan literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan individu dibentuk oleh interaksi antara faktor internal dan eksternal, di mana aspek psikologis seperti self-efficacy, persepsi terhadap perubahan, motivasi intrinsik, kapasitas coping, dan kemampuan adaptasi memegang peran penting, sementara kepemimpinan yang suportif, komunikasi yang efektif, budaya organisasi yang adaptif, serta dukungan institusional semakin memperkuat kesiapan tersebut; selain itu, meningkatnya integrasi teknologi digital juga memperbesar tuntutan terhadap keterampilan teknis, kesiapan kognitif, dan penerimaan perilaku individu. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya strategi manajemen perubahan yang komprehensif, dengan menekankan penguatan faktor psikologis, peningkatan sistem dukungan organisasi, serta pengembangan kompetensi teknologi melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, komunikasi partisipatif, dan pembentukan budaya organisasi yang adaptif guna mendukung transformasi sektor publik yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.
