Abstract

Abstrak: Kehadiran virus Corona telah merusak tatanan kehidupan, pandemik corona juga melahirkan berbagai gangguan psikologis berupa stress yang berwujud dalam bentuk ketakutan, kegelisahan, dan kecemasan. Berbagai macam intervensi telah dilakukan dalam mengatasi masalah psikologis, salah satunya expressive writing therapy. Expressive writing therapy merupakan intervensi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah psikologis. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan expressive writing therapy dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan. Program ini memuat dua kegiatan utama yaitu seminar, sharing session, dan pendampingan online. Hasil menunjukkan ada penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada peserta setelah diberikan diberikan expressive writing therapy dengan terdapat 15 subyek yang mengalami penurunan tingkat kecemasan dan 15 subyek yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan tetap yang artinya ada penurunan kecemasan pada peserta setelah diberikan expressive writing therapy.Abstract:  The presence of the Corona virus has damaged the order of life, the corona pandemic has also given birth to various psychological disorders in the form of stress in the form of fear, anxiety, and anxiety. Various kinds of interventions have been carried out in overcoming psychological problems, one of which is expressive writing therapy. Expressive writing therapy is an intervention to overcome psychological problems. The purpose of implementing expressive writing therapy is to reduce anxiety levels. This program contains two main activities, namely seminars, sharing sessions, and online mentoring. The results showed that there was a decrease in the level of anxiety in participants after being given expressive writing therapy with 15 student subjects experiencing a decrease in anxiety levels and 15 participants experiencing a constant level of anxiety, which means that there was a decrease in anxiety in participants after being given expressive writing therapy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemandirian dan gaya belajar dengan strategi menyelesaikan masalah mahasiswa ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Sampel penelitian adalah 90 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Psikologi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kemandrian, skala gaya belajar, dan skala strategi menyelesaikan masalah. Tehnik analisa data menggunakan uji regresi dan uji t. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa gaya belajar dan kemandirian dengan strategi menyelesaikan masalah memiliki hubungan yang sangat signifikan dengan F = 33.358, R2 = 0.434, dan p = 0.000. Terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara gaya belajar dan strategi menyelesaikan masalah dengan beta = 0.209, t = 3.025, dan p = 0.003. Kemudian pada kemandirian dan strategi menyelesaikan masalah memiliki hubungan yang sangat signifikan dengan beta = 0.724, t = 5.583, dan p = 0.000. Tidak terdapat perbedaan strategi menyelesaikan masalah antara jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan. dengan p = 0.063 dan nilai rata-rata laki-laki sedikit lebih tinggi (84.33) dari perempuan (80.67). Sedangkan pada variabel kemandirian juga tidak terdapat perbedaan kemandirian antara jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan dengan nilai p = 0.108 dan nilai rata-rata, laki-laki sedikit lebih tinggi (49.49) dari perempuan (47.31).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan membaca cepat terhadap minat baca mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dan pengumpulan data menggunakan skala minat baca. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 orang mahasiswa program studi psikologi yang terdiri atas 15 orang mahasiswa peremuan dan 5 orang mahasiswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh membaca cepat terhadap minat baca mahasiswa dengan nilai nilai t hitung < t tabel (-3,184 < 1,73) dan p = 0.050.

Abstract

Kecemasan adalah suatu keadaan emosi yang dipakai untuk menunjukkan respon emosional yang tidak sesuai dengan keadaan yang menimbulkan rasa takut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan kecemasan pada mahasiswa Universitas Mulawarman setelah diberi terapi berfikir positif dan cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Penelitian eksperimen adalah penelitian yang memberikan perlakuan terhadap suatu sampel penelitian yang kemudian mengamati konsekuensi perlakuan tersebut terhadap obyek penelitian. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan tingkat tinggi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Mulawarman sejumlah 40 orang mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada penurunan kecemasan pada subjek setelah diberikan terapi berpikir positif dengan nilai U = 62.000 dan p = 0.000. Ada penurunan kecemasan pada subjek setelah diberikan cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) dengan nilai U = 91.000 dan p = 0.003. Lebih lanjut cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) mendapat mean post = 15.05 > mean post = 13.60 terapi berpikir positif. Hal ini bermakna cognitive behavioral therapy lebih efektif untuk menurukan kecemasan dibanding terapi berpikir positif

Abstract

Abstract Violence is an abusive behavior which includes any form of physical abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse, or neglect. Indonesia's National Commission on Violence against Women, reports that most violence is experienced by women. A majority of the violence occurs within the household domains, otherwise known as domestic violence. Both community and individual violence will result in the experience of trauma in its victims. Nevertheless, trauma caused by violence varies depending on the case and the proximity of the perpetrator to the victim. Many studies have attempted to explore the struggle experienced by victims of violence even although there are very little cases which specifically research cases of domestic violence. This review aims to examine how past empirical studies explain the struggles experienced by victims of violence, the strategy used in addressing their traumatic conditions, and the factors that contribute to a positive change. Posttraumatic Growth. Empirical studies in this review n = 25 which include sources from Psyche, Ebsco, Dissertation unpublish, etc. Indicates that there are several variables that contribute to the positive change process in individuals experiencing violent cases. Among them are social support, self-disclosure, and coping. Keywords: Posttraumatic growth, violence survivor, domestic violence.

Abstract

Based on the results of a survey about teenage pregnancy of 7 adolescents aged 13-15 who were pregnant before marriage, who were still educated SLTP when pregnancy occurred. Early marriage is the most phenomenal symptom that often invites negative social stigma for society. Based on that, early marriage is an arranged marriage or marriage involving two parties between a man and a woman under the age of 18 years, which will usually give rise to negative stigma from the surrounding environment. Purpose of this study is to know people's views on early marriage and to know the level of social stigma against early marriage. Research method used in this research is qualitative research method, the approach used in this research is phenomenology. The study was conducted in Samarinda and several interviews were conducted in direct interaction with four subjects who had had early marriages in their teens or schools. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The study subjects numbered 4 people. The results show factors that led to the subject of B.C. marrying young were due to parental and cultural factors. The factor that causes MAF subjects to have early marriage is the presence of pregnancy factors outside of marriage. RS gets a negative response from the surrounding environment and the factors that cause social stigma in subject RS. are the presence of knowledge and education. The reason AR married young are due to the parental factor.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a phenomenon that often occurs, especially in students who have multiple roles as well as students in the National Police. This study aims to empirically examine whether or not there is a relationship between work family conflict and academic procrastination of Polri students at Mulawarman University. The method used is correlational quantitative, the number of subjects is 96 Police students who were selected by total sampling technique. Data were collected using the academic procrastination and work family conflict scale adopted from previous studies with the reliability level of the academic procrastination scale = 0.852 and the work family conflict scale = 0.900. The data analysis technique using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test resulted in a calculated r value = 0.584 and p = 0.000 <0.05. These results show a fairly strong relationship between work family conflict and academic procrastination, meaning that the higher the perceived work family conflict, the higher the academic procrastination carried out by Polri students at Mulawarman University.Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan fenomena yang sering terjadi terutama pada mahasiswa yang memiliki peran ganda seperti halnya pada mahasiswa yang juga berstatus sebagai anggota Polri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara konflik peran ganda terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Polri di Universitas Mulawarman. Metode yang digunakan kuantitatif korelasional, jumlah subjek 96 orang mahasiswa Polri yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik dan konflik peran ganda yang diadopsi dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan tingkat reliabilitas skala prokrastinasi akademik = 0.852 dan skala konflik peran ganda = 0.900. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menghasilkan nilai r hitung = 0.584 dan p = 0.000 < 0.05. Hasil ini menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup kuat antara konflik peran ganda dengan prokrastinasi akademik, artinya semakin tinggi konflik peran ganda yang dirasakan maka semakin tinggi pula prokrastinasi akademik yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Polri di Universitas Mulawarman.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made conventional lectures turn to online learning. The lecture system that is carried out by students is expected not to reduce student engagement in every lecture. Student involvement is due to the social support and academic resilience of students. This study aimed to determine the effect of academic resilience and social support on student engagement in online lectures. This study used a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 100 students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used the scales of student engagement, academic resilience, and social support. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant effect of academic resilience and social support on student involvement in online lectures (p < 0.05) and had an influence contribution (R2) of 52%; (2) there is a significant positive effect of academic resilience on student involvement in online lectures (p < 0.05); (3) there is a significant positive effect of social support on student involvement in online lectures (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Currently, all levels of education carry out the learning process online. They start from primary, secondary, to higher education. At the higher education level, students who usually do face-to-face learning activities face-to-face with other lecturers and students now must do the same activities virtually. This study aims to analyze whether there are differences in the concentration level in the study of students after being treated with brain gym therapy with the PACE movement. This study uses an experimental approach with a two-group pre and post-test design. The subjects of this study were 60 students divided into two groups, 30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group, who met the research criteria. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was a difference in learning concentration for students after being given PACE brain gym therapy with the results of the paired sample t-test with a value of = 0.042 (p less than 0.05). There is no difference in learning concentration for students after being given brain gym therapy material and learning concentration with the results of the paired sample t-test with a value of = 0.82 (p more than 0.05). Through this study, students' learning concentration can be improved by doing pace brain gym therapy movements. Increasing student concentration can be increased by doing brain gym therapy as a habit every time before doing learning activities that are expected to help increase student concentration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 380 mahasiswa angkatan 2016-2017 yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan skala efikasi diri (28 butir α = 0.803) dan stres akademik (28 butir α = 0.812). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi sederhana. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Artinya bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki efikasi diri yang baik akan memiliki stres akademik yang rendah, hal ini juga ditunjukkan dari sumbangan efektif efikasi diri sebesar 67.3%.
