Abstract

PT. Bukit Muria Jaya (BMJ) adalah sebuah perusahaan lokal yang bergerak di bidang produksi packaging, khususnya dalam pembuatan kertas rokok seperti cigarette paper, plug wrap paper, printed tipping paper, tipping base paper, aluminium foil laminated paper, inner frame paper, dan printed packaging base paper. PT. BMJ memiliki tanggung jawab dalam mendistribusikan produk kertas rokok dan melayani beberapa perusahaan di berbagai daerah dengan jarak yang berbeda. Saat ini, perencanaan urutan rute distribusi masih bergantung pada pengalaman dan keputusan subyektif dari supir kendaraan, sehingga proses pendistribusian produk belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, Objek penelitian dalam jurnal ini adalah distribusi produk PT. Bukit Muria Jaya kepada konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan rute pendistribusian produk dengan menggunakan metode Nearest Neighbor pada Vehicle Routing Problem. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Nearest Neighbor dalam merancang rute pendistribusian sangat efektif dengan hasil perolehan jarak tempuh adalah 961,8 km dengan lama waktu 18,38 jam perjalanan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Metode Nearest Neighbor dapat digunakan sebagai panduan untuk menentukan rute pendistribusian produk. Dengan biaya transportasi yang lebih rendah dan efisiensi waktu yang dihasilkan, perusahaan dapat memanfaatkan metode ini untuk merencanakan rute pendistribusian produk secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

The growth of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia is now increasingly rapid, one of which is in the food and beverage sector. PT. XYZ is one of the beverage industries that has problems, namely the high cost of distribution due to the irregular distribution of distribution from the Factory to the Regional Sales Office (KPW). This study uses the transportation method with the initial solution, namely the Vogell Approximation (VAM) method, the Least Cost, North West Corner (NWC) method and the optimum solution using the Modified Distribution (MODI) method. In addition, a comparison was made with the results of the POM - QM software. The purpose of this research is to optimize distribution costs and allocate distribution of tea products in boxes (tetra pak) with a volume of 250 ml and analyze the optimal distribution costs after the application of transportation methods in distributing 250 ml Sosro Tetra Pak tea products at PT. XYZ. After doing the analysis and calculations, it is concluded that the application of transportation methods using POM - QM software can optimize distribution costs and allocate distribution of 250 ml Sosro Tetra Pak tea products at PT. XYZ. Then After calculating the transportation method, the optimal distribution cost is Rp. 2,059,460,017. There was a decrease in costs of up to Rp. 140,539,983 so the company will save up to 6.39%.

Abstract

GKD is an automotive manufacturing company. One of the products from PT. GKD is Crossmember which weighs 34 kg. During the part checking process at the Quality Control station, there is a manual handling activity from the bottom of the floor to the pallet carried out by the production operator. The position of taking the part does not match the operator's body posture so the operator takes the part while bending over. Based on interviews and distributing NBM questionnaires to operators, it was found that operators suffered musculoskeletal injuries to the hips, back, arms, shoulders and legs. This research was conducted to reduce activities that have the potential to cause musculoskeletal injuries to operators, by using the NBM (Nordic Body Map) questionnaire method to analyze ergonomic risks and analyzing work postures using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method before the proposed assistive equipment. Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan perbankan merupakan faktor penting dalam menciptakan kepuasan dan loyalitas nasabah. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Cabang Indramayu menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanannya di tengah persaingan perbankan yang semakin ketat, baik dengan bank konvensional lainnya maupun layanan berbasis fintech. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan BRI melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada staf dan nasabah. Program ini dilakukan melalui serangkaian kegiatan, termasuk survei kepuasan nasabah, sosialisasi layanan digital, serta pelatihan bagi pegawai bank dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pelayanan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas layanan fisik (tangible) dan interaksi layanan (intangible) berdampak positif terhadap kepuasan nasabah. Sosialisasi dan edukasi yang dilakukan juga meningkatkan pemahaman nasabah mengenai layanan digital perbankan, sehingga mendukung peningkatan inklusi keuangan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan fasilitas layanan, penguatan kompetensi pegawai, serta edukasi berkelanjutan bagi nasabah dalam menciptakan pengalaman layanan yang optimal. Dengan demikian, upaya peningkatan kaualitas layanan secara berkelanjutan menjadi kunci dalam membangun kepercayaan dan loyalitas nasabah di tengah dinamika industri perbankan yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, optimal raw material inventory management is crucial for smooth production and cost efficiency. PT SSI faces problems in managing insert frames, which causes high ordering and storage costs. This study analyzes the application of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to determine the optimal order quantity and reduce total inventory costs. With a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through interviews, historical analysis of ordering and inventory costs, and calculations of EOQ and Total Inventory Cost (TIC). The results showed that the EOQ method reduced the frequency of orders from 48 to 24 times per year with an optimal order quantity of 63,155 units. Total inventory costs were also reduced from Rp 279,412,534 to Rp 230,256,690 per year, proving that the EOQ method is more efficient. The novelty of this research is the combination of EOQ with specific variables of the semiconductor industry. Further research is recommended to explore demand uncertainty and the integration of EOQ with artificial intelligence and ERP systems to improve inventory management accuracy. Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the industrial sector continues to evolve, requiring companies to remain competitive, including in the production of kernet seats. This study aims to improve the quality of kernet seat products at UMKM AB through the implementation of control charts, fishbone diagrams, and the 5S method. Based on control chart analysis, the average defect rate before improvement was 6.8 units per batch, with an upper control limit (UCL) of 12.1 and a lower control limit (LCL) of 1.46. After implementing quality control methods, the defect rate decreased to 3.2 units per batch, reflecting a 52.9% reduction. The fishbone diagram analysis identified the primary causes of defects, including suboptimal machine conditions (40%), insufficient worker skills (30%), material quality (20%), and unstandardized production methods (10%). Meanwhile, the implementation of the 5S method proved to enhance work efficiency, maintain workplace cleanliness, and optimize production time. Based on these findings, it is recommended that UMKM AB conduct regular machine maintenance, improve worker training, and carry out periodic audits on the implementation of the 5S method to ensure consistent and sustainable results. Abstract

One aspect that can affect a company's competitive advantage is the distribution of its products. CV. Sinar Sentosa is a glass distributor located in Medan, North Sumatra. One type of glass marketed by CV. Sinar Sentosa is A75 plain Glass. CV. Sinar Sentosa has difficulty in determining the allocation of vehicles due to limited vehicle capacity to meet the demands of each store. This causes delays in product delivery to consumers and expensive distribution costs. So it is necessary to optimize the distribution route of A75 plain glass using the Clarke and Wright Savings algorithm so that it can minimize distribution costs. This research is a descriptive type of research in the form of action research. Based on the research results obtained 2 distribution routes with a total distance of 110.02 km. The company's initial distribution routes consisted of five routes totaling 312.52 kms. The application of the Clarke and Wright Savings algorithm in this study resulted in an efficiency of distribution distance of 64.79% and saved fuel costs from Rp. 296,894 to Rp. 104,519. Salah satu aspek yang dapat memengaruhi suatu keunggulan bersaing perusahaan adalah kegiatan distribusi produknya. CV. Sinar Sentosa merupakan salah satu distributor kaca yang berlokasi di Medan, Sumatera Utara. Salah satu jenis kaca yang dipasarkan oleh CV. Sinar Sentosa adalah Kaca polos A75. CV. Sinar Sentosa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan alokasi kendaraan akibat keterbatasan kapasitas kendaraan dalam memenuhi permintaan setiap toko. Hal tersebut menyebabkan keterlambatan pengiriman produk di lokasi konsumen dan biaya distribusinya yang mahal. Maka perlu dilakukan pengoptimalan rute distribusi kaca polos A75 menggunakan algoritma Clarke and Wright Savings sehingga biaya distribusi dapat diminimalkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif berbentuk action research. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperlukan 2 rute distribusi dengan total jarak sebesar 110,02 km. Rute distribusi awal perusahaan sebanyak 5 rute dengan total jarak 312,52 km. Penerapan algoritma Clarke and Wright Savings pada penelitian ini menghasilkan efisiensi jarak distribusi sebesar 64,79% dan menghemat biaya bahan bakar dari Rp 296.894 menjadi Rp 104.519.

Abstract

Abstract--- Perum Bulog is a general company of state-owned enterprises in the field of logistics which has a role in maintaining national food availability and security such as prices for government purchases, distribution of rice and management of state-owned rice reserves. To maintain availability, products are stored and placed in a warehouse according to their needs and capacities by calculating how long it takes to store and deliver products to be marketed according to consumer demand. In the Bulog Karawang warehouse activity, there are still problems with poor product placement because irregular distances between the placement and shipping areas are caused by inappropriate product storage flow patterns so that loading and unloading activities become ineffective. Based on the existing problems, layout improvement design is carried out using shared storage methods in order to increase the effectiveness of the distance between the doors to the storage area. The steps to redesign using shared storage begin with knowing the warehouse area, warehouse capacity and other warehouse data, as well as collecting data by determining space requirements, determining space allowances, and distance from the entrance to the storage area by using Euclidean Distance. From the results of distance data processing becomes regular and can be known every distance. Based on the comparison of the initial layout and the proposal it is known that by implementing shared storage loading and unloading activities become better and more effective.                                                                             Keywords ; Allowance, Euclidean Distance, First In First Out (FIFO), Shared StorageAbstrak--- Perum Bulog adalah perusahaan umum badan usaha milik negara di bidang logistik yang memiliki peran dalam menjaga ketersediaan dan ketahanan pangan nasional seperti harga pembelian pemerintah, penyaluran beras dan pengelolaan cadangan beras milik negara. Untuk menjaga ketersediaan, produk disimpan dan diletakan pada suatu gudang sesuai kebutuhan dan kapasitasnya dengan menghitung waktu berapa lama simpan dan pengiriman produk yang akan dipasarkan sesuai permintaan konsumen. Pada aktifitas gudang Bulog Karawang masih mengalami permasalahan penempatan produk yang kurang baik karena tidak teraturnya jarak antar area penempatan dan pengiriman disebabkan tidak sesuai pola aliran penyimpanan produk sehingga aktifitas bongkar muat menjadi tidak efektif. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan perbaikan tata letak menggunakan metode shared storage dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan efektifitas jarak antar pintu ke area penyimpanan. Langkah-langkah perancangan ulang menggunakan shared storage dimulai dengan mengetahui luas area gudang, kapasitas gudang dan data gudang lainnya, serta pengumpulan data dengan menentukan kebutuhan ruang, penentuan allowance ruang, dan jarak dari pintu masuk ke area penyimpanan dengan menggunakan Euclidean Distance. Dari hasil pengolahan data jarak menjadi teratur dan dapat diketahui tiap jaraknya. Berdasarkan perbandingan layout awal dan usulan diketahui dengan menerapkan shared storage aktifitas bongkar muat menjadi lebih baik dan efektif.Kata kunci ; Allowance, Euclidean Distance, First In First Out (FIFO), Shared Storage.

Abstract

PT Sinde Multi Kemasindo is a plastic packaging industry company located in Tambun, West Java. PT Sinde Multi Kemasindo produces products in the form of preforms, 200 Ml bottles, 350 Ml bottles, 500 Ml bottles and screw caps with 2 colors, namely green and blue.  PT Sinde Multikemasindo carries out the production process based on orders or direct requests from consumers.  Based on the data obtained, from January to November 2023, there were 31 cases of work-related accidents in the engineering department of PT Sinde Multikemasindo, with a description of extreme risk of 0%, high risk of 23%, moderate risk of 61%, and low risk of 16%. with the classification of moderate and mild accidents. In an effort to minimize work accidents, work accident analysis can be carried out using the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) method and fisbon approach The results found 31 hazards in the engineering department and can be categorized into 31 hazard sources. From the risk level assessment results, there are 0 sources of hazard classified as extreme, 73 sources of hazard classified as high risk, 19 sources of hazard classified as medium risk, and 5 sources of hazard classified as low risk. This study provides recommendations for improvement in the form of conducting inspections to workers, providing signs or posters regarding the use and need for PPE, conducting supervision (punishment and reward system), prohibiting entry into the production work area without using PPE and conducting medical examinations on workers exposed to dust.
