PT Softex Indonesia is the first producer of sanitary napkin made in Indonesia which has obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certificate and applied it in the implementation of production activities. One way to achieve success in maintaining the quality of a product is by improving work performance in order to produce quality products. Based on this, the researchers analyzed the effect of implementing ISO 9001: 2008 on improving employee performance. The data used in this study were obtained from a questionnaire (primary) and several observations and direct interviews with parties related to employee performance. The analysis technique used is simple regression using hypothesis testing, namely F test and t test. Based on the results of the study the magnitude of the influence of the application of ISO 9001: 2008 which directly affects the improvement of employee performance. From this study, R Square value was 0.504, which means that 50.4% of employee performance improvement variables can be explained by its independent variables, namely ISO 9001: 2008, while the remaining 49.3% is explained by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic made some companies must pay attention to all their business needs appropriately and measurably. Strategic use in some companies there is making the limited on the stock supply, it is expected to reduce the losses that will be experienced by business people. The Sabana franchise has problems in determining the optimal safety stock so that there is no bullwhip effect in the supply chain for these raw materials. The purpose of this study is to determine the value, causes, and proposed solutions to reduce the occurrence of the Bullwhip Effect and can optimally forecast inventory requirements using the Single Exponential Smoothing method. The results obtained from this study are the magnitude of the bullwhip effect that occurs in the supply chain Franchise Sabana, which has a value of 1.036 and the value is greater than 1. which means that there has been a Bullwhip effect on the observed supply chain. From the analysis results, it is known that the causes of the Bullwhip effect include the absence of system users and strategies in forecasting needs, unmeasured supply or inventory shortages, fluctuating price fluctuations, order sizes, and order fulfillment grace periods, and forecasting results for inventory in the next month. of 663.6 kg with a minimum stock limit of 351.7 kg and a maximum stock limit of 975.6 kg. Ways that may be effective to reduce the bullwhip effect that occurs include managing product availability properly, namely by applying forecasting on controlled sales of raw material orders and also the accuracy of information from product sales so that business owners will find it easy to calculate forecasting values for the period to come. come to be able to optimally and efficiently in financing business activities.

Abstract

Coffee beverage processing is an essential process in the rapidly growing coffee industry. From selecting coffee beans to serving customers, each processing stage plays a crucial role in determining the final quality of the coffee beverage. This study provides a deep understanding of the time aspects in the production process and lays the groundwork for improving overall production process efficiency through MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) framework analysis. The research method involves collecting data on coffee production processes from selecting coffee beans to serving customers. From the buyer's perspective, idle time reaches 260 seconds, while working time is only 105 seconds, resulting in a total time of 365 seconds. Meanwhile, from the operator's perspective, idle time is recorded at 60 seconds, with working time reaching 80 seconds, resulting in a total time of 100 seconds. From the machine's point of view, idle time is counted at 60 seconds, with working time reaching 220 seconds, resulting in a total time of 280 seconds. The research findings indicate that by applying the MOST framework, coffee beverage production time can be significantly reduced by making adjustments to several production stages, such as coffee bean grinding, coffee making process, and serving customers. These findings provide valuable insights for the coffee industry to improve production process efficiency and optimize consumer experience.
