Abstract

An organization wants its business journey to run smoothly, but sometimes there are obstacles from the different nature of employees. The great influence of employee character starts from self-efficacy, work motivation, work discipline and employee performance. The purpose of this research is to build a research hypothesis on the influence of exogenous variables, namely self-efficacy and work motivation on the endogenous variables of work discipline and employee performance. This research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with secondary data taken from several collections of articles related to these variables. This study has found that there is a positive mutually influencing relationship between variables, among which self-efficacy influences work discipline, work motivation influences work discipline, self-efficacy influences employee performance, work motivation influences employee performance, and work discipline influences on employee performance. This research has resulted in several studies of 10 articles which have provided scientific decisions. The contribution of this research is expected to provide convenience for other researchers who will develop their scientific work with a similar theme in the future

Abstract

Along with high orders from customers for shoe products in apparel companies, the production department must also support productivity results. The production process has experienced several problems, including the number of work accidents and potential levels of work accidents, and the absence of safe work accident control measures in the cutting die area for the shoe production process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of work accidents and provide recommendations for controlling sources of hazard to reduce or eliminate the level of risk involved in the shoe molding process. The method used in this study uses the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC) method combined with the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method. The findings of this study have obtained data before repair with 16 hazard potentials consisting of 6 medium hazard potentials and 10 low hazard potentials. Improvements that have been made in accident risk control for each potential hazard include technical controls, administrative controls, and document controls. The results of this study resulted in a reduction in the risk of work accidents after repairs to 16 low hazard potentials and no moderate hazard potentials. So from these results, it can be concluded that the decrease in risk level from medium risk to low risk proves the success of corrective actions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi aktivitas non-produktif di kantin Katsu Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya melalui implementasi metode Work Sampling. Metode ini dipilih karena efektif dalam mengamati dan menganalisis pola kerja serta waktu yang dihabiskan pada berbagai aktivitas tanpa mengganggu operasional sehari-hari. Dalam studi ini, observasi dilakukan pada berbagai aktivitas karyawan kantin selama periode tertentu untuk mengumpulkan data yang akurat mengenai distribusi waktu kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sejumlah aktivitas non-produktif yang signifikan, seperti waktu tunggu yang lama, langkah kerja yang tidak efisien, dan kegiatan yang tidak mendukung proses pelayanan utama. Dengan identifikasi ini, direkomendasikan beberapa perbaikan seperti penataan ulang alur kerja, peningkatan koordinasi antar karyawan, dan pelatihan tambahan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Implementasi rekomendasi tersebut diharapkan dapat mengurangi aktivitas non-produktif dan meningkatkan produktivitas serta kualitas layanan kantin. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terkaitbidang manajemen operasional, khususnya dalam meningkatkan efisiensi layanan di sektor perkantinan universitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi kerja pada proses perakitan Bonsai Tree LED Light di CV. Cahaya Kreatif dengan menggunakan metode Westinghouse dan Shumard. Metode Westinghouse digunakan untuk mengevaluasi performa operator berdasarkan empat faktor utama, yaitu keterampilan, usaha, kondisi kerja, dan konsistensi, sedangkan metode Shumard digunakan untuk menghitung waktu normal melalui penyesuaian waktu siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan "menyusun bola lampu" memiliki waktu normal tertinggi sebesar 556,8 detik, menunjukkan kebutuhan peningkatan efisiensi pada tahap ini. Sebaliknya, tahap "menghubungkan batang pohon ke dudukan lampu" memiliki waktu normal terendah sebesar 46,55 detik dengan performa Excellent, mencerminkan efisiensi yang optimal. Berdasarkan analisis, diperlukan strategi peningkatan keterampilan operator dan perbaikan prosedur kerja pada tahap-tahap yang memakan waktu lebih lama untuk mencapai produktivitas yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengelolaan beban kerja yang efektif di sektor perakitan produk elektronik.

Abstract

Employee performance represents the achievements, work capabilities, and outcomes produced by individuals in an organization. It plays a crucial role in helping companies reach their strategic goals by leveraging high-quality human resources. Performance is measured by the quality and quantity of work accomplished in alignment with an employee's responsibilities. To enhance performance, organizations require skilled and talented employees who are driven to contribute effectively. Work motivation serves as a key factor in enabling employees to perform at their best. This study explores the relationship between talent management, work motivation, on employee performance through a systematic literature review. The article aims to develop a hypothesis on the influence of these variables, providing a foundation for future research. Data sources include online academic libraries, Google Scholar, Mendeley, and other open-access research platforms. The study adopts a library research method, utilizing e-books and peer-reviewed journal articles to examine existing findings. The results indicate that both talent management and work motivation significantly impact employee performance. Effective talent management strategies contribute to better performance outcomes, while work motivation serves as a crucial driver in enhancing employee productivity and engagement.

Abstract

Manufacturing companies in the injection molding sector supply plastic-based automotive spare parts such as car battery covers. The mixing process at this company is still done manually because the previous mixing machine was not functioning properly. The problem with a mixing machine is that it produces an uneven mixture. Apart from that, the mixing machine does not yet have a component that functions to filter tin flakes that are mixed into the crusher material. This research aims to reduce the percentage of uneven mixing defects and increase the impeller rotation to the maximum in the mixing process. This research uses the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method combined with the Fishbone diagram method and the 5W+1H method. This research found that uneven mixing defects during the mixing process were dominant in this problem. After analysis, there was a problem with the distribution of impeller rotation, the maximum was only 0.134 m/s or around 60% of the total material mixing. Redesigned improvement solutions for the mixing process by modifying the mixing machine with more sophisticated technology. This research resulted in a reduction in production defects from 9% to 2% and an expansion of impeller rotation in the mixing process, up to a maximum of 0.202m/s or a flatness of around 90%.

Abstract

One of the companies in East Bekasi is a company engaged in the bread industry, with the product being sandwiches. The purpose of this research is to perform raw material efficiency and cost savings of raw material inventory. In this study, identified the bread production process for 1 period (3 months). It is known that this company ordered raw materials, namely 2100 kg of flour and 480 kg of granulated sugar. However, in reality, only 1537 kg of wheat flour was used and 379 kg of granulated sugar. There is a difference between ordering raw materials and using raw materials so that the costs incurred in carrying out raw material inventory exceed the limits of the costs that have been determined by the company. The method used is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The goal is to control the number of raw material orders made by this company and indirectly to save raw material inventory costs. The findings are comparing calculations by companies using EOQ, the efficiency of raw materials after using the EOQ method for wheat flour is 542 kg and granulated sugar is 93 kg and savings in raw material inventory costs for wheat flour is Rp. 156,437 and granulated sugar is Rp. 212,092
